Naina came down seeing all were seated in dining area ... a complete silence prevailed around... all filled with different emotions and settled back on their seats for breakfast in silence....

For Vishakha, it's her frustration that she never surpasses Sameer and now Naina always seen stood with him, supporting him... no matter what, but Karthik always supports Sameer, when it comes to business related matters...

Karthik was worried about Naina more knowing her kidnapping but relieved that Sameer saved her... he was happy to see their relation changing in a good way...

Before coming down for breakfast, he discussed with Pandit and come up with so many ideas to cajole her but seeing her unhappy looks, lost all his courage... just to save her from all tensions, he feels guilty to give her another tension and miffed her further... and now she is not even looking at him...😞

Seeing her not eating properly he picked up fruit tray and served in her plate expecting her to response but to his dismay, she remains seated quietly without looking at him... then he served her juice and one after another every item which was keeping on the table, over-loading her plate...

Naina lifts her eyes throwing angry glares but seeing his cute pleading face gets more frustrated murmuring, "jab dekho sabke saamne naatak karte rehte hai... business chhod kar naatak company kyun nahin join kar lete... Oscar award toh mil hi jayega... Mr Draamebaaj Maheshwari..." she said slowly keeping her anger in control not audible to anyone... she considered his action just a fake act to show off in front of family... again...

Karthik suppressed his laughter seeing his manaofying attempts, whereas Vishakha gets more irritated seeing all... however, Sameer grinned widely hearing her muttering, feeling like to pull her in a tight hug... she looks more adorable in anger...🧡

Ignoring other's reaction, before Sameer puts some more effort to initiate a discussion with her, their silence break with a loud and chirpy voice from the entrance, "hello everyone... I am here..."

All lifted their gaze towards door seeing Kamya standing there with a wide smile on her face... wearing a knee length sleeveless dress, tightly clutched to her slender figure... a diamond sleek pendant in her neck giving it a perfect look, with shoulder cut hairs and slight make-up on her face...

Kamya was standing there holding handle of a big suitcase in her one hand and a designer purse hanging in her other arm... all shocked to see her there with so much luggage... like she has permanently shifted to their house...

Naina stood to go towards her with a surprising look, when Sameer hold her wrist giving a sharp look, "finish your breakfast... you have to take medicines also..." he makes her sit back with a jerk... he was already failed in all his attempts and now seeing Kamya here with luggage frustrated him more... already because of his heated argument with Vishakha he hurt Naina and now Kamya adding fuel to his anger... a total mess...

Vishakha stood hurriedly with a broad smile on her face welcoming her... she embraces her and said lovingly, "welcome Kamya... I was waiting for you only beta... come, join us..."

Kamya greet all and settled in front of Samaina giving a sweet smile, "hi, kaisa laga mera surprise... hope you all are not in shock seeing me here at this time..." she said expecting an over-whelming response from all but all were quiet giving indifferent looks to her...

Vishakha replied on her behalf, "actually, Kamya was looking for Naina but since her mobile was not reachable so she called me... her parents are out of station for few weeks, so I invited her to stay here with us till they are back... you know, it's not safe for her to stay all alone in such a big house... right Kamya... after all she is also like a family for us...." she said with her over sugarcoated tone and showing motherly concern for Kamya...

Naina nodded slightly her head in confusion... though she was happy to see her after so many days and surely loved to spend her time with her but seeing changes in her behavior now days makes her a little more uncomfortable, especially towards Sameer... on top of that she knew Sameer didn't like her at all and always doubt on her intentions... also she knew Vishakha's hidden motive to call her here... now all will be staying under one roof with different motives... hell complicated to deal with all...

Kamya smiled greeting Sameer, "Morning Sameer, seems you are not happy to see me here... Vishakha aunty ko meri kitni chinta thi aur unhone itne pyaar se force kiya ki mein mana nahin kar paayi... vaise bhi mein kabhi badon ki baat nahin taalati... hope I am not disturbing you at all..."

Sameer smiled sarcastically, "no, not all... after all you are Rani Sahiba's guest this time... who am I to object... please be comfortable and stay as long as you wish... yeh toh vaise bhi jagat Mata hai jinke dil mein sabke liye bohot jyaada pyaar bhara hai..." he laughed slowly mocking Vishakha making her more frustrated on him...

Karthik too welcomed her half-heartedly, "ya... you are most welcome Kamya... be comfortable..." though he got this very cleared to Vishakha that he is not at all interested in Kamya, still he welcomed her due to courtesy...

Kamya replied looking at Sameer, "thanks... I knew you will be happy seeing me here and love to spend some time with your new friend... isn't it so..." she said with a cute smile looking at him adorably...

Naina was quiet lost listening all this... since their childhood it happens many times that her parents leaving her alone at home, went abroad for months... then why this time only, she is scared of staying alone at her own home... her father is a top-notch businessman and have very tight security at her residence... she knew how much Kamya is always very choosy to stay anywhere except her own house... then what makes her so scared to leave her own house and staying at a stranger place...

Sameer said smiling sarcastically, "well it's all my pleasure... but I am surprised that how did you stayed for such a long period all alone in US without your parents.... and if I am not mistaken your parents must have thought well about your safety before leaving you alone at home here... isn't it so..."

He added more to humiliate her, "well, I feel very disappointed with you... I thought after staying a year alone in US, you must be very independent, strong and bold... but I can't expect that you are so much scared to stay alone in your own house with lots of security around..."

He paused seeing her shocked face and said with a smile, "don't worry... I will recommend some good security agencies to your parents next time... it will be good for you to stay safe... anyways every time you can't stay with someone else... at someone else's house..."

Seeing the situation getting awkward and insulting for Kamya, Vishakha divert the chain of discussion offering her breakfast and turned to Naina, "Naina, why don't you show her guest room before leaving for office... please make her comfortable... after all she is your friend... dhyaan rahe Kamya ko iss ghar mein kisi baat ki dikkat na ho... she is very special for us..." she said showering all her love to Kamya...

Before Naina replied Sameer said rudely, "why...? she is your guest so let her stay close to you... better you take care of her like her own mother... Naina is busy with me in office projects so don't have time for all this hospitality.... anyways I have planned some renovations in guest room at my portion, so she can't stay there with us... and you know very well that I don't welcome uninvited guests..." he said with a sharp glare on Kamya who shuddered on his reaction towards her... indicating clearly that she is not at all welcome...

He turned to Naina giving her hard looks, "we are getting late for office... let's go, we have an important meeting today and lots of work is pending..." he behaves rudely knowing she must be interested to stay back with her friend... but Sameer has left no chance for her to even think to spend time with Kamya... she has to accompany him to office... as his assistant, how can she refuse...

Naina smiled awkwardly looking at Kamya, "I am leaving right now but don't worry will join you in evening... be comfortable... if anything just calls me... okay..." she said politely to make her comfortable...

Kamya feeling embarrassed said, "ya... ya... it's perfectly fine... anyways I am also leaving for work... so will catch you all in evening..." saying this she also stood to leave...

Vishakha asked servant to keep her luggage next to her room only... she finds it much better option, as this will help her to convince Kamya for Karthik easily... her ulterior motive...

Sameer moved ahead with Pandit followed by Naina and Kamya coming out together till parking...

Kamya hold her hand seeing chance to talk in alone, "tu kahaan thi... kal se tujhe dhundh rahi thi par tu ne mera phone hi nahin uthaya... itna bhi kya busy hona ki apni friend ko hi bhool jaao... but it's okay... ab kuchh din hum saath hi rahenge... kitne din se tujhse baatein karne ka time hi nahin mila... achchha hua Vishakha aunty ne mujhe yahaan invite kar liya, isi bahane sabke saath rehne ko milega varna ghar par toh mein bore hi ho jaati akele..."

Naina smiled faintly, "sorry but hope you don't mind... I have to leave now... actually, office ke liye der ho rahi hai varna I would love to spend time with you... shaam ko milte hai... bye... kuchh ho toh mujhe phone kar dena..." she hugged him saying a quick bye as Sameer was waiting for her in car....

Kamya suddenly hold her hand to stop... looking at her top to bottom she asked making faces, "Naina, yeh sab kya hai... tu aise jaa rahi hai office... I mean tu Maheshwari's ki bahu hai koi local employee nahin... maine tujhe uss din bhi samjhaya tha na, par tu kuchh sunati hi nahin... look at yourself... isn't it awkward wearing these local old-fashioned dresses... isn't Sameer feel upset seeing you like this..."

Pointing towards Samer she said sweetly, "look at him yaar... he is so handsome and charming, but you... Is this the reason he never introduced you with anyone in business or family... even servants also not treating you properly as daughter-in-law of this house...? I really felt bad for him yaar... bechare ko kitna bura lagta hoga na... you might be not even heard which brands he is wearing..." she gave a disgusted look showing fake sympathy on her dressing sense comparing to hers...

Naina feels a tinge of pain in her heart... they were childhood friends and before today Kamya had never said such hurting words to her, pointing on her financial condition... she always appreciates Naina's self-respect, her simplicity and choice of dresses though it's always very simple but sober... she was the one who always fought with their other college mates whenever they make fun of Naina pointing on her simplicity... then why she is behaving strange now...

Naina turned her gaze towards Sameer who was sitting in car talking on phone... she said taking a deep sigh recalling their heated argument in morning, "he doesn't mind all this... I am only his assistant in office for him... until I am efficient in my work, nothing matters more... and for me... I am happy as I am... you know me since so long... hope you still remember that I never valued such materialistic things in my life..." saying this she walked ahead and sits in car wiping a lone tear drop from corner of her eyes... it's not that she felt bad about her dressing but somehow Sameer's harsh words and Kamya's behavior hurt her a lot...

She stepped ahead towards car but halt suddenly and turned to look at Kamya whose gaze was fixed on Sameer... she said slowly, "Kamya, mein aaj bhi vahi hoon jo pehle thi... auron ki tarah waqt ke saaath apni fitrat badlana meri aadat nahin... aur shayad yahi ek baat thi jisne hum donon ko jod rakha tha... hope tujhe yaad rahe..." saying this she turned and left wiping a lone tear from her eyes...

Sameer noticed her changed expression while talking to Kamya in parking but remain quiet as knew she will not open her heart so easily... moreover her blind trust on Kamya is worst... but she seems sad... which disturbed him a lot without knowing the reason... somewhere he wants to soothe her, apologize her for his own rude behavior to scold her in morning, but didn't get chance to apologize... now seeing Kamya staying at their house, he feels more concerned for her... he always wanted to keep her safe and away from his family knowing Vishakha's nature but doesn't like seeing Naina suddenly intervene and explain on his behalf... they left together but no one initiate any discussion after whatever happened in morning...

Reaching office, she quietly left to her desk, starting her work but her mind was at complete loss on Sameer's and Kamya's hurting attitude towards her... no doubts Kamya belongs to a filthy rich family and afford anything and everything... but for Naina, she was always be from a middle class family, but she too has her own dignity... even after getting married in Maheshwari's, she never influenced with their money and still managing everything with whatever little savings she has earned... she is independent and feel proud on it... but today her words pinched her heart... is this another reason for Sameer's rude behavior towards her... that he is not accepting her as his family...

Seeing time, she made his coffee and entered in his cabin seeing him busy on phone... she keep the coffee on his table and went back without giving a glance to him... he felt bad seeing her dull face as whatever be the reason she never left out from his cabin without asking his permission... he keep calling her for some random works frequently but seeing her lost, he didn't get courage to ask... he tried a lot to talk with her but she was extremely calm seems not effected by any of his words or behavior towards her...

During lunch time, Preeti came to her hugging her tightly, "wow... thank god teri tabiyat ab theek hai... mein bata nahin sakti tujhe kitna miss kar rahi thi... tere bina do din office mein waqt hi nahin gujar raha tha... bohot miss kiya maine tujhe par sorry kal milne nahin aa saki... achchha hua tu aaj aa gayi varna maine HR records se tera address bhi le liya tha... mein aane wali thi tujhse milne aaj office ke baad..."

Naina still lost in her thoughts just walked with her and joined at lunch in canteen... she thanked in her heart that luckily her address in office is of her parent's home... since Sameer warned her initially to not to reveal her identity, she filled her previous address for records...

Preeti as usual was in chirpy mood when Naina asked her suddenly, "Preeti ek baat bata... tujhe mere saath rehne mein sharmindgi toh nahin feel hoti... matlab mera dressing sense itna ajeeb hai... na branded clothes, na hi koi fashion, na jewellery... I mean office mein sab ladkiyaan kitni fashionable hai.. updated modern hai aur mein totally outdated... mujhe pata hai log mere pichhe se mera majaak bhi udaate honge par..." she kept saying in a flow shocking to Preeti...

Preeti keep her hand on hers shaking a bit, "oye... dimaag mein bukhaar toh nahin chad gaya tere.. kaisi ul julool baatein kar rahi hai tu aaj... tabiyat theek hai na teri..." she said touching her forehead in concern...

Naina lowered her eyes hiding her unshed tears when Preeti lift her face, "Naina, tujhe pata nahin ki tu kitni sundar hai... aur tujhe yeh dikhane ke liye kisi artificial make up ya fancy dresses ki jarurat bhi nahin... logon ko toh mehanat karni padti hai khud ko presentable banane ki par tu toh naturally itni sundar hai ki koi mehanat hi nahin karni padti... aur raha tere dressing sense toh ladki ki khubsurati uske swabhav aur sundar dil se naapi jaati hai... naa ki jyaada expose karne se... log kya kehte hai, kya sochte hai usko hum nahin badal sakte par jo bhi humein sachche dil se pyaar karta hoga na unhein kisi baat ka farq nahin padega... jaise mujhe nahin padta..."

To keep her mood up she teases her, "vaise bhi bina make-up aur show off ke tu itni sundar dikhati hai aur agar jyaada karne lagegi toh humein toh koi jhankega bhi nahin tere aage... duniya mein aag lag jayegi jis din tu inn fashion ki putliyon ke aage khadi ho gayi toh... samjhi buddhu..." she says hitting slightly on her forehead making her laugh...

Soon their moment disturbed with continuous beeps on Naina's phone... she read the messages from Kamya asking what time she will be back in evening...

She didn't reply and turned the phone on silent mode... Preeti asked seeing her little disturbed, "tu Kamya ka message dekh kar itna pareshaan kyun ho gayi aaj... vaise mujhe toh ek aankh nahin suhati par teri toh best friend hai na..."

Since Preeti was not aware about her life completely, it was no point to explain anything... Naina hold her hand smilingly, "chal aaj ice-cream khaa kar aate hai... mera bohot man kar raha hai..."

Preeti seeing her mood changed finally, accepted immediately... they both went down to a nearby café and enjoyed a small treat from Naina...

Naina came back on her seat when again her mobile rings... seeing Kamya's name she picked up finally as it's being rude to avoid her... before Naina asked Kamya bombarded her, "Naina, kitni der se phone kar rahi hoon... tu mera phone kyun nahin thaati... khair chhod... sun mein pehli baar tere ghar rehne aayi hun toh mujhe sabke liye kuchh gifts laane chahiye tha... par mein bhool gayi.... toh mein soch rahi thi ki agar tu meri help kar de toh mein aaj ka dinner sabke liye special plan karna chahti thi... I mean sabki pasand ka... toh tu meri help karegi na..." Kamya shows her courtesy to treat her family well...

Naina got confused and reply, "par tujhe toh khaana banane aur inn sab baaton mein koi interest nahin hai na... tu shayad aaj tak kitchen mein bhi nahin gayi toh aaj kya hua achanak... vaise bhi itni formality ki jarurat nahin hai... tu tension mat le aur relax kar... aur haan, hamare ghar mein dinner sab akele akele karte hai toh no use of all this..." she replied casually...

Kamya replied, "yahaan sab mere apne hai toh formality kaisi... aur tujhe kya pata ki pariwaar mein apno ko kaise kareeb rakha jaata hai... I mean tu ne kahaan kabhi yeh sab dekha hai... vaise tu yeh sab chhod aur bata na ki kisko kya pasand hai... tujhe toh pata hi hoga na..." she gets more adamant to know...

Naina feels irritated as till now she had never got chance to know anyone's likes or dislikes... even she was not much allowed to go in kitchen as per their family rules... and the way Kamya was taunting her, it hurts her more...

She replied casually, "Kamya, mujhe yeh sab toh nahin pata... agar tu karna hi chahti hai toh tu apne man se pasand kar le jo bhi karna hai... I am sure, teri choice sabko pasand hi aayegi... after all you all are from same level in society... mujhe yeh bade logon ki baatein samajh nahin aati..." she disconnects the call to avoid any more discussion...

Pandit came to her desk giving her file, "Naina, meeting ek ghante mein hai... toh please iski summary report jaldi se Sameer ko dikha dena... he wants to discuss before meeting... so please hurry up..." he left leaving file at her desk...

Indulging herself in work is always be the best stress reliever for her... she starts preparing notes and soon send a mail to Sameer with all summary report...
