Naina seeing time to left, quickly wrapped up her desk and left office without even meeting Preeti... she was eager to meet Sameer and expected him to reach home early directly from the meeting... the moment she stepped out from building, driver was waiting for her sending by him only for her... she smiled inwardly thinking even if he is busy, he still cares for her, "baat nahin karni par dhyaan rakhna nahin chhod sakte... Sadu kahin ke... mein bhi dekhti hoon aaj baat kaise nahin karenge mujhse..."

Reaching home, the moment car entered to mansion's gate, she surprised seeing Kamya's car also entering at same time... it was not usual for Kamya to came back home at this time...

Naina gets down from car approached her, "Kamya aaj tu itani jaldi aa gayi... vaise achahha hai aaj mein bhi jaldi aayi hoon, isi bahane ab humein thoda aur time milega saath waqt gujarane ka..." she still tried hard to make her realize her mistake and giving another chance to their friendship...

Kamya smiled sarcastically, "sure na... kahin phir tu gaayab toh nahin ho jayegi kah kar ki Sameerji ne bula liya and all... aaj kal tu milti hi nahin mujhse... jab se mein yahaan aayi hoon mujhe laga hi nahin ki tu meri pehle wali bachpan ki dost hai... tu toh sirf Mrs Naina Sameer Maheshwari ban gayi hai..." she replied showing her anger on how Sameer insulted her in morning...

Naina keeping herself calm replied, "aisa nahin hai Kamya... vaise Sameerji ne jo bhi kaha subah voh galat bhi toh nahin... aakhir meri aaj ki pehchaan toh yahi hai na... mein unki biwi hoon aur yehi sach hai... khair chhod chal jab tak sab aa nahin jaate hum thodi der saath baithate hai... aaj Sameerji bhi office mein nahin the shaam ko... pata nahin kab tak aayenge meeting se vaapas..."

Kamya smirks thinking evilly, "vaise aaj toh Sameer ka intzaar mein bhi kar rahi hun... Sameer ne itani insult ki hai meri par ab dekhti hoon ki yeh shaadi aur sachche pyaar ki kahani kab tak chalti hai... bohot ghamand hai na donon ko apne rishtey par... sorry Naina, par pyaar aur jung mein sab jaayaz hai... ab tujhse haar jaaun itne bhi bure haalaat nahin mere... hamesha se tujhe apne se pichhe rakha hai maine taaki sabki najaron mein sirf mein rahun toh ab kaise tujhe apne se aage aane de sakti hoon... tujhe toh jaana hi hai toh jo kaam kal hona hai voh aaj kyun nahin... lets have some fun baby..."

Naina hold her hand pulling her out from her trance, smilingly, "kya sochne lag gayi... if you are not tired come and join me in kitchen... will talk there... okay..."

They entered together in house but making some excuse Kamya left for her room saying, "aaj nahin... abhi mein bohot tired hun... kal milate hai na... shayad aaj ke baad tere paas mere liye waqt hi waqt ho... pehle ki tarah..." Naina looked at her surprisingly not getting any meaning of her words but felt an unknown fear...

Leaving all thoughts aside, she lit diya in temple and went in kitchen to cook his favorite dishes... she quickly prepared his favorite dishes for dinner thinking, "subah se itna torture kar rahe the, dekhti hoon khaane khaa kar kaise react karenge... baat toh karni hi padegi mujhse ... aaj dinner ke time unka naam lungi toh aur surprise ho jayenge... sirf mere munh se apna naam sunane ke liye saare office mein circular issue kar diya... pakke businessman hai, apni baat manwa kar hi maani na... pata nahin yeh ideas aate kahaan se hai unke paas..."

Satisfying with her cooking she smiled, "kal unhone sab meri pasand ka banwaya tha aaj mein unki pasand ka banaungi... voh bhi apne haath se... aur sabse special unke liye kheer... voh bhi iss baar bina namak ki..." she laughed thinking how he must have had with so much of salt just to save her reputation in front of others...

After cooking, she set the dinner at their room only to spend some alone time with him.... she went to her room's balcony and sit on swing... it was already too late but there was no sign of Sameer... before she decided to call him, she saw his car entering into compound... she stood excitedly adjusting her dress and hair... she looked her image in mirror and blushed unknowingly... her face was flushed and her heart was pounding wildly... earlier her heart was mixed with some unknown scary thoughts which suddenly calmed down seeing him back... she even decided to tell him everything and will request him to support Karthik to unite with Amrita... seeing Karthik's concern for Sameer she really wish to unite the brothers also, forgetting their differences...

Sameer entered in his room alone seeing her standing in front of him smilingly... she steps ahead towards him when Sameer asked suddenly, "where were you in afternoon..." though his voice was low but can feel a tinge of sharpness...

Naina halts in between and replied slowly, "sorry, voh mein aur Preeti baahar chale gaye the... mein batana chahti thi par aap meeting mein the aur Pandit bhi... aur phir..."

Before she complete Sameer coming close to her, hold her arm pulling down crudely making her flinch in pain... she can easily saw his red fiery eyes burnt in anger...

Samer giving a hard glare shouts, "phir se jhuth... how dare you try to make me fool... I was waiting for you in office, and you were busy in spending time with your loved ones..." as Naina tried to separate herself from his grip, his hold on her tightened causing her wincing in pain more... she said blinking her eyes hard to control her tears, "please chhodiye... mujhe dard ho raha hai..."

He sneered, "really... tumhein dard bhi hota hai... kabhi socha hai tumhare jhuth se auron ko kitna dard hota hai... kabhi socha hai tumhara dhokha kisi ke dil ko kitni chot pahunchata hai... mein hi galat tha, ek cheater hamesha cheater hi rahega... and you proved it again..."

Naina uttered in heavy voice, struggling hard to release herself out of his firm and harsh hand, "aap... please suniye toh... I can explain... aap shayad galat samajh rahe hai... voh toh mein bas..."

Sameer interrupts her raising his tone and a sardonic smile appeared on his lips showing some pictures in his hand to her, "is this what you want me to believe on you..." his face grew darker filled with anger...

Naina got shocked to see her pictures with Karthik in his hand... in pictures, she was standing closely to Karthik looking at him smilingly... but how could he get this picture, which is not even completely true in real sense... he is taking it all wrong...

Sameer said with miffed emotions reflecting on his face, and gripping her arm more roughly, "thanks for again proving me wrong... I was right about you... a characterless girl like you can never be happy with one person alone... galti meri hi thi jo maine tumse ummid ki... you will never change..." saying this he jerked her harshly making her stumble on floor...

Naina was taken aback with his harsh words thinking, "is he still thinking same about me... kuchh dinon se jo mein mehsoos kar rahi thi sab galat tha... mujhe laga hamare beech jyaada kuchh nahin toh kam se kam ek vishwas hai... yeh mujh par bharosa karte hai... par nahin mein hi galat thi jo aise sapne dekhne lagi thi... inki najaron mein aaj bhi meri vahi image hai... achchha hua jo yeh ummid bhi toot gayi... mujhe sapne dekhne ka koi haq nahin tha, toh isaki saza toh milni hi thi mujhe..." tears welled up in her eyes staring him and shattered the way he is looking at her like she is a filthy thing... his disgusting look kills her more...

Naina looked at him while his eyes were seethed with anger... looking at her with disgust and contempt... she stood wiping her tears from back of her hand and said slowly, "thanks for making me remind what you think about me... I will never forget my place now..." saying this she passed from him going out from the room when heard him shouting on her, "get lost from my sight... mein tumhari shakal bhi nahin dekhna chaahta aaj ke baad..."

Naina didn't turned back and left from room closing the door behind... she walked out absentmindedly, tears keep rolling down from her eyes... it's first time, she doesn't even feel like anymore to justify herself...

Sameer's heart flinched in pain seeing her tears but a glance to the photos in his hand of hers standing so close with Karthik consumed him in jealousy and anger once again...

Whole afternoon, he waited for her to had lunch together, but she was not in office... even before leaving office he was so much desperate to see her once, but she was missing... after leaving office for an urgent meeting, he keeps trying to contact her, but her phone was not reachable, making him restless throughout the day... knowing she is back in office, he himself sent driver for her to reach home safely and was eager to meet her soon...

He was desperately waiting to meet her in evening and tried hard to finish his meeting early, but it didn't happen the way it planned, and meeting went quiet longer than expected... after meeting, all his business colleagues insist him, but he straight away denied having dinner with them and rushed back to home for her... whole way he was restless with an unexplained surge of agitation...

The moment they reached home, he insists immediately to go inside alone as couldn't wait any more... Pandit leaving him at gate went to park the car... the moment he reached at elevator a servant approached him, "sir, this parcel has come for you..."

He took the envelop and went into elevator... pressing the button to his floor he opened the envelop and shocked to see Naina's pictures with Karthik... it was of today's, in her blue dress which he selected for her in morning to wear... twining to his own which she selected first time for him... but unfortunately, she was standing with Karthik... he was eager to hear his name from her, but she was altogether busy with Karthik without even informing him... he was not having any objection for her to go in exhibition but she herself denied at first place, apparent she wants to go alone and doesn't want him to accompany her....

Throughout his meeting his gaze was fixed on his mobile expecting a call from her, but she didn't even bother to check where he was... no wonder why his absence didn't affect her at all and she didn't bother to call him once... whatever the efforts he is trying to go closer to her from last few days, she had never taken any initiative from her side, proving her indifference for their relation... seems, she truly doesn't want to be with him...

After Naina left out from room without saying, Sameer remains seated in room when suddenly his eyes went to the table, placed in corner, filled with so many dishes and cutlery... indicating she was waiting for him for dinner... his own eyes got blurred feeling pain in his heart...

His heart winced in pain, "kyun Naina... maine kabhi tumhein kisi baat ke liye nahin roka... kabhi tumse jabardasti nahin ki, hamesha tumhari ichchha ko aage rakha... agar jaana tha toh ek baar bata deti, mein nahin rokta... par yeh dhokha kya sach mein jaruri tha... maine tumse hamesha berukhi ki taaki tum khud iss rishtey ko chhod kar chali jaao par tumne mujhe khud par, hamare rishtey par vishwas karna sikhaya... mujhe ummid di ki mein bhi ek pyaar bhari zindagi jee sakta hoon, apne pyaar ke saath... agar chhod kar hi jaana tha toh ek baar kah deti, mein nahin rokta... jab se pyaar ko samjha hai sirf tumse pyaar kiya hai... tumhari Khushi ke liye tumhein apne se dur bhi jaane deta, par kam se kam yun dhokha toh mat deti... aaj bhi shayad tum galat nahin ho, yeh meri hi kismat hai jo maine aise sapne dekhe... toh dard toh milna hi tha... I deserve this..."

Hearing a knock on the door he wiped his tears... Pandit entered seeing him all alone and smiled to him, "sorry if I disturb you guys... I know how much restless you were to meet her that you left your mobile in car... take it..." he handed him his phone and turned to go out but asked suddenly, "why are you alone here... where is she...?" he looked around but didn't find her anywhere in the room...

Sameer didn't respond at all looking down... Pandit finding his silence suspicious, keep his hand on his shoulder, "what happened Sameer... where is Naina?" he asked in serious tone sensing something went extremely wrong between them...

Sameer without uttering a word handed him the photo... Pandit looked at him surprisingly after seeing it... he asked, "what's this? I... I don't believe it... there must be some confusion... let me ask her... where is she?"

Before Pandit moved, Sameer hold his hand to stop, "no need to ask... I was fool to start believing her... how could I even think to see such dreams forgetting my own reality... I am not destined for love... I can't give her any happiness... why will she waste her life with a person who is dependent on others... let her go... she deserves someone better than me..." a lone tear dropped from his eyes feeling helpless and hurt...

Pandit shouts back, "paagl hai tu... kya bakwaas kar raha hai... look... this is not true... believe me..." he roamed around his eyes looking for her, but she was nowhere...

Sameer smiled mocking himself, "I am not doubting on her at all... mein jaanta hoon voh kabhi kuchh galat nahin karegi, mujhe dhokha nahin degi but if she is happy with someone else, I can't hold her to be with me... shayad isiliye meri itani koshisho ke baad bhi voh kabhi mere saath comfortable nahin ho paayi... she deserves to be happy, so let it be..."

Pandit avoid listening him giving a frustrated look, dialed at Naina's number and found her phone ringing in the room only... he turned to see it lying at the table... he picked up her mobile getting more irritated, "yeh phone apne paas kyun nahin rakhti kabhi... ab kahaan dhundhu isey..."

In frustration, her phone slipped out from his hand on floor... the moment he bent to picked up surprised to see the image displayed on her phone...

Pandit looked at shockingly and handed her phone to Sameer, "see... I told you, it's not true... she loves you only..."

Sameer was not willing to look into her phone but Pandit insist opening new messages just beeped on her mobile... it's the same photo which was in Sameer's hand but surprisingly there were three more people in the photo... it was a group photo in which an unknown girl standing on other side of Karthik and Preeti was standing next to Naina... even Karthik's hand was wrapped on the girl's shoulder from behind keeping her in his hug... Naina was smilingly looking at the girl next to Karthik only...

The picture was same but cropped in a way that giving a look that its only of Naina and Karthik... smilingly looking towards each other with love...

Shock was understatement for Sameer... seems like his whole life slipped out from his hand... in just a shot of anger he insulted her beyond the limit and throw her out from the room... seems this time out of his life also... she was trying to explain but he was in so much rage that couldn't give her a chance to listen her explanation... she might have her own reasons to go there without informing him... but now the damage has been done... he again hurt her, shatter her ...

He cursed and hated himself for some time losing his temper so easily... he remains seated dumbfound when heard Pandit shouting on him, "Sameer, where is she... tu ne usey toh kuchh nahin kaha na..."

How could now he explain to Pandit what he has done now... after his friendship proposal accepted by her, he was taking slow steps going close to her, gaining her trust, but in a fit of anger he ruined his own happiness and lost her... may be forever this time...

With a mere thought of losing her he shuddered coming back in senses panicked, "Pandit... maine... maine sab barbaad kar diya... uska dil tod diya... usey hurt kar diya... voh... voh kabhi maaf nahin karegi mujhe ab... maine kho diya usey phir se ek baar... shayad hamesha hamesha ke liye...." he cried hard like a kid, realizing how he himself ruined all his happiness by hurting her...

Pandit hugged him tightly composing him, "tu shaant ho jaa... kitni baar kaha hai apne gusse par control rakha kar par abhi pehle usey dhundhna padega... mein dekhta hun kahaan gayi hai... I wish kahin ghar se baahar na chali gayi ho itni raat ko... its unsafe for her... tujhe toh pata hai na uski haalat kaisi hai..."

Sameer panicked more thinking what if she had already left him... where will they find her... she doesn't have any other place to go... it's not even too safe for her to be out at this time... what if something happened to her... what if she harmed herself...

He turned to see Pandit already rushed out from room... Sameer too followed him out... they both looked all possible places and rooms but couldn't find her anywhere... Pandit checked with guards and confirmed that she is still inside the house giving a slight relief to them... but where?

Suddenly Sameer moved back into house and went to pool side garden area, which he himself shown her a day before... to his relief Naina was sitting in garden all alone, lost looking nowhere... her teary stained face and red puffed eyes shows how much she must have cried...

Sameer stopped at a distance and didn't get courage even to go closer to her... she was sitting on the grass taking a back support of a chair placed there...

Pandit came panting heavily saw Sameer sitting there looking at her direction... seeing them both quiet, he decided to go ahead to talk to Naina when Sameer stops him, "Pandit, not now... you go and rest..."

Pandit realized it's better if they both talk in alone and clear their misunderstanding by themselves... he left assuring him, "Sameer, I don't know what you told her, but I think this time it was too much for her... but now only you can handle her... take care of her and call me if needed any help..."

Sameer keep staring her from side sitting at few steps away... they both remain seated like this whole night... no one moved... Naina all lost in her pain and Sameer didn't get courage to go close to her in his guilt... but now he can't leave her alone in this state...

Naina POV

Suna tha itihaas apne aap ko dohrata hai aur aaj aisa hi kuchh mere saath bhi hua... ek baar phir kuchh jhuthi tasveeron ne mere sach, mere wajood ko galat saabit kar diya... Sharad ki makkari ne jo ek daag mujh par lagaya  hai voh mein zindagi bhar nahin mita paaungi... aur meri poori zindagi par uska kaala saaya pada rahega... par farq bhi kya padta hai kisiko mere sach se... 

Aaj ke baar phir saabit ho gaya ki mera hona, na hona, mera sach, meri imaandaari, mera wajood, kisi ke liye koi maayane nahin rakhta... maayne rakhta hai toh kuchh tasveerein jo hamesha se meri zindagi barbaad karti aayi hai... aaj phir se saari ummide khatam aur saare sapne toot gaye.. unki najaron ki nafarat ne mujhe meri asliyat ek baar phir yaad dila di ki kisi ka saath meri kismat mein hi nahin... zindagi phir ghoom kar usi jagah aa gayi jahaan se mere naam ke saath sirf aur sirf badnaami judi hai... na mein pehle apna sach saabit kar paayi thi aur na ab kar paaungi... aur ab shayad mein karna bhi nahin chahti... koi mera apna nahin jiske liye mein apne aap ko begunaah saabit karun...

Pyaar shabd bhi aaj ek baddua jaisa lag raha hai... pehle bhi dil mein dard hota tha, bura lagta tha jab koi mere charitra par ungli uthaata tha, par jis tarah se aaj mere pyaar ne mujh par shaq kiya, dil tukde tukde ho gaya... maine kabhi nahin chaaha tha ki voh bhi mujhse pyaar kare, par jo respect, jo dosti unki najaron mein apne liye dikhati thi voh sab bhi jhuth nikla... zindagi mein pehli baar kisi se toot kar pyaar kiya tha, kisi ne pehli baar iss sune dil par dastak di thi par sab jhuth nikla... aaj unki aankhon mein apne liye itani nafarat dekh kar yakeen ho gaya ki yeh khushiyaan meri kismat mein nahin...

Aaj jo gunaah maine kiya hai uske liye toh maafi bhi nahin maang sakta mein tumse, kyunki  ab toh mein uske laayak bhi nahin raha... mujhe phir se zindagi jeene ka ek mauka mila tha, khush rehne ki wajah mili thi par maine sab barbaad kar diya... khud apne haathon se... bachpan se iss rishtey mein sirf jhuth aur beimaani dekhi hai shayad isiliye tumhare baare mein sab jaante huye bhi yeh gunaah kar baitha... tumhein kabhi apna pyaar nahin dikha paaya par nafarat aur gusse se hamesha tumhara dil dukhaya hai... aaj phir ek baar hum vahin aa gaye jahaan se shuru huye the teen saal pehle... aaj phir se tum mere saamne ho aur mein kuchh nahin kah pa raha tumse... aaj toh tumhare aansun pochhne ka haq bhi kho chuka hun... aaj khud apne pyaar ko sharminda kar diya maine...
