In Delhi... 

Sameer sitting on back seat headed towards Preeti's house all lost in his thoughts... even if his life has changed at home & he was always surrounded with his family and friends, but he never got peace in his heart, who never lose hope to see her soon... no one can fill her place in his heart...

नज़दीक इतने आकर मेरे, दूर मुझसे चले गए,

जैसे मेरे रूह में उतर कर, मेरी ही परछाई बन गए!

Flashback... 4 years back

Since the day Naina left him alone, Karthik was always around with him to support... he himself tried his best possible ways to find Naina... even due to all the sudden chaos happen, he frequently had heated argument with Vishakha... everyone was apprehensive on Vishakha about all the sudden goings-on, but she was way too stubborn to spill the truth...

Few months passed Sameer went to US for his surgery with Pandit... in his absence Karthik manage all business-related matters and support him in all manners... after staying in US for two months Sameer came back fully recovered... he took over business in his hands but never found the peace in his mind and heart... he was still totally clueless about Naina... what makes him more worry is that she must be all alone and in later stage of her pregnancy... not only for Naina, he was concerned for his Angel, who unknowingly become an integral part of his life and soul...

Few months later, Karthik informed Sameer about Amrita, who delivered a baby boy ... although Karthik was always around with her but still not able to get enough courage to propose her... also seeing Sameer's depressed condition, he doesn't feel like to start his own relation with his loved one...

Sameer visited hospital to meet Amrita and the newly born baby... since the day Naina, told him about Amrita he insisted a lot of time to Karthik to go ahead in his relation, but Karthik was still scared and hesitated to share his feelings with Amrita...

Sameer, "Congrats Amrita..." he handed her a bouquet seeing the little cute boy sleeping cosily in his cot... bending slightly he picked up the little boy in his arms giving a soft peck on his forehead... instantly his vision gets blurred missing his Angel... she must have also born now...

Karthik patted on his shoulder knowing his feelings... after Naina left them, he got to know about her pregnancy and Sameer's concern for her to be alone in this condition... seeing Sameer's love and concern about Naina being pregnant, he never doubted that it's not Sameer's child... Karthik looked at Amrita who blink her eyes in assurance to let Sameer carry baby...

Amrita keeping a soft smile on her face, "I heard a lot about you from Karthik but never got the chance to meet... thanks for coming here personally to visit me... it means a lot for me..." it was their first time to meet in personal...

Sameer still keeping his eyes on the little one asked, "Amrita, can I ask you something..."

Karthik and Amrita looked at each other surprisingly as what could be the matter where Sameer needs Amrita's help... he placed the baby back in his cot gently...

Sameer's eye glued at the little boy asking softly, "can you please allow him to stay with me..." he requests cutely pointing to the little boy... Amrita looked at Karthik confusingly that how can she allowed newly born baby to let him live with Sameer... they have no relation either...

Seeing their confused expressions, he walked towards her bed, "don't take me wrong please... I want to propose you actually..." he stops seeing the most horrified faces of two people sitting in front of him...

Sameer chuckled slowly seeing their freeze reaction said, "Will you please become my Bhabhi... I really wanted you to get married with my brother and come to our house with little bundle of joy..."

Karthik letting a relief sigh came back into senses first whereas Amrita was still in shock... Sameer taking Karthik's hand keep it in Amrita's with a smile, "I know aap donon ek dusre se kitna pyaar karte ho lekin saath nahin ho paaye... Karthik mera hi bhai hai jise apne dil ki baat theek se batani nahin aati aur mein nahin chahta ki sahi waqt ke intzaar mein yeh bhi meri tarah akela rah jaaye... so will you please marry my brother..." he said smilingly asking Amrita who was still in shock...

Karthik and Amrita were friends since their college time and really loved each other but later she got married to someone else due to Vishakha's resistance to accept a girl from middle class... destiny played cruelly with her and here again they are standing in front of each other more than as friends...

Amrita had always observed Karthik's love and affection towards her but till now they never got courage to share their true feelings to each other again after what all happened in their lives... even if she still loves him, she knew Vishakha will never accept her with the child who doesn't have any blood relation with Karthik... she doesn't want to become the reason of their broken relation...

Sameer seeing her still quiet gesture Karthik to speak now.... Karthik gaining some courage finally spoke, "sorry Amrita lekin ab mein aur tumse jhuth nahin bol sakta... maine hamesha se sirf aur sirf tumse hi pyaar kiya hai lekin tumhein dukh na ho isliye kuchh nahin kaha... mein tumhein aur khud ko waqt dena chahta tha, iss rishtey ko samajhne ke liye... aur aaj mein yakeen se kah sakta hoon ki meri zindagi mein tumhare siwa koi aur nahin aa sakta... will you please marry me?"

Amrita finally smiled amidst tears nodded her head slowly... if earlier she was scared and never wanted Karthik to go against his own mother, but seeing Sameer's support she finally willing to give their relation another chance... how can she be not touched seeing Karthik's endless efforts and supports during the worst phase of her life...

Sameer congrats pulling them both in a tight hug said, "so now it's final... hospital se discharge hote hi mein tum donon ki shaadi ki saari taiyari kar dunga... I really can't wait to see you both together..." he was thrilled with a thought that the little baby will come to stay with him forever... he always felt failure in being not with his Angel and missing her so much...

Karthik suddenly stops him, "Sameer lekin Mummy nahin maanengi... aur mein nahin chahta ki Amrita aise ghar mein jaaye jahaan usey uska haq aur ek bahu ka samman na miley... I think we should stay away from her..."

Sameer smiled patted on his shoulder, "no ways... Amrita shaadi ke baad apne asli ghar mein hi aayegi... tum chinta mat karo maine sab intzaam kar rakha hai pehle se hi... bas tum donon se permission chahiye taaki Amrita jald se jald meri Bhabhi ban kar hamare ghar aa jaaye iss chhote se mehmaan ke saath..." he said looking the little one sleeping peacefully... before coming here he already spoke to Amrita's parents and make them agreed for this alliance... even he spoke to Nanu and took his permission also as never wanted his brother to stay alone anymore...

Sameer pulled out a small velvet box from his pocket and handed them rings to exchange... a small token of assurance that they will be together soon and have complete family support...

Though Sameer wanted the marriage to happen soon, but Nanu insists to let it do at proper mahurat only... they all agreed to do the marriage ceremony after three months on auspicious day only...

Later with Nanu's support he organize their wedding at Maheshwari mansion... since Karthik and Amrita wanted a simple ceremony, Sameer only invited to their close friends and Amrita's family only... Pandit and Preeti helped him to do all arrangements... since Sameer never wanted his personal life to get social, he purposely kept media away from the wedding and manage everything by his own to make this day memorable for the couple... to fulfil his promise to Naina that he will surely support Karthik to get unite with his love...

On that day after a decade, Nanu personally came to mansion to attend Karthik's wedding and give his blessings wholeheartedly to the couple... he ensure Vishakha should not create any scene and spoil the biggest day of Karthik's life... he himself welcomed Amrita with his little baby boy... with a small ceremony they done the wedding rituals and unite them forever... following that they kept a small Naamkaran pooja for the little boy and as per everyone's wish, Sameer chose his name as "Aryan"

Nanu warned Vishakha to stay away from the rituals if she cannot give her true blessings to the couple... even since the day Naina has left, Sameer always kept a close eye on her all actions assuming that might be he will get some clue about Naina to find her... though Vishakha was extremely furious but couldn't do anything to stop Karthik's wedding against her wish...

Since the day Aryan came to their house, he was very much close to Sameer... Sameer loves to spend time with him, trying to forget all his pains for a short moment... Amrita insists everyone to let Vishakha stays in the same house to keep a control on all her activities...

Sameer agreed to her request but confined Vishakha's power, money and status... he handed all responsibilities to Amrita to handle the mansion and allowed her to take any decision as per her wish...

To let Vishakha learnt her mistakes, Amrita strictly restricted her all social gatherings and forced her to manage all her household works by herself... even Amrita left no choice for Vishakha to refuse working in NGO with other needy women's... that was the condition to let her stay in Maheshwari Mansion... Vishakha was also bound to ask money from Amrita for her daily usages...

Flashback end....

Reaching Preeti's house, Sameer saw Preeti playing with little Vivaan and Pooja was nowhere to seen... she must be getting ready to go with him... he smiled pulling the little one in his arms, "hi champ... so having fun time with your Mami..."

Vivaan annoyingly hit on his forehead with his little palm, "oh god... you don't know anything... abhi Preeti friend ko meri Mami banane mein time hai... Pandit Mama se shaadi ke baad hi mein Preeti friend ko Preeti Mami kahunga... subah Pandit Mama ko bhi mein yahi samjha raha tha... maine sahi kaha na Preeti friend..." he asked looking innocently towards Preeti making her blushed...

Preeti nodded her head smilingly, "bilkul correct... Vivaan kitna intelligent hai aur uske donon Mama bilkul buddhu" she laughed teasing Sameer giving a hi-fi to Vivaan... he left inside to call her mother to get ready fast and come out...

Sameer sits next to Preeti encircling his hand from behind her shoulder, "so, all ready to become my Bhabhi... mein bata nahin sakta how much happy I am... finally ab tum aur Pandit hamare saath rahoge, ek pariwaar ki tarah jaise Naina chaahti thi..." he said excitedly in a flow making her smile vanished from her face... it was always Naina wish to get Preeti married to Pandit and move to their house

Preeti stood to go inside avoiding any further discussion when Sameer hurriedly stood holding her hand, "sorry Preeti, mujhe tumhare saamne Naina ka jikra nahin karna chahiye tha... I know tum upset ho..."

Preeti shouts interrupting him, "sirf mere saamne hi nahin tumhari zindagi mein bhi ab uss patthar dil insaan ka jikra nahin hona chahiye..." her eyes were wet holding tears at bay

She holds his arms firmly trying to wake him up from his dream world, "tum samajhte kyun nahin Sameer ki uski zindagi mein hamare liye koi jagah nahin... yeh sirf tumhare pyaar ka junoon hai jo tumhein aage ki sochne nahin de raha varna voh toh hum sabko kab ka bhul chuki hai... koi pyaar nahin usey humse varna itne saalon mein ek baar bhi uska man nahin hua humein contact karne ka... voh na tumhare pyaar ki kadra kar saki aur na meri dosti ki..."

Sameer tried to convince her but stopped himself seeing her in tear... in all these past years, not only for Pandit, but for Sameer also Preeti became the integral part of their life... she snapped him angrily, "tumse naraaj thi toh kam se kam ek baar mere paas toh aa sakti thi na... Mummy papa ke baad maine usey apna pariwaar samjha tha, har kadam par uska saath diya lekin usne kya kiya... chali gayi... hum sabko chhod kar, hamare pyaar ko thukra kar chali gayi... humein rishton ka path padati thi lekin jab khud nibhane ka waqt aaya toh bhaag gayi munh mod kar... dhokhebaaz nikli voh bhi auron ki tarah... nahin rakhni humein ab koi aur ummid uske vaapas aane ki jab usey hamari koi parwaah nahin..." tears rolling down on her cheek uncontrollably... this was almost her first time when she opened her heart sharing her pain with him...

Sameer pulled her in his arms caressing her back... he knew how much depressed she is since the day Naina left and never initiated any discussion with anyone... Sameer and Pandit both tried a lot to let her talk and give out her pain but she endure it in herself... seeing her reluctancy they also stopped taking Naina's name in front of her but seems today she was missing her so much... she always craved for her sisterly love and missing her more when now she is stepping ahead to start her new life... except Naina, she never consider anyone as her family...

Sameer consol her, "I know Preeti ki tum kitni takleef mein ho lekin please try to release all your pains... yun kab tak dil mein itna dard chhupa kar rakhogi... you are starting your new life so let all the hatred go out..."

He parted smilingly holding her face, "uske liye na sahi lekin mere liye toh tum Naina ko maaf kar sakti ho na... aakhir mein aur voh ek hi toh hai..." he knew its difficult for her to forgive Naina, but he never wanted Preeti also to keep so much anger and hatred in her heart and ruin her own happiness...

Preeti taking a step away shook her head adamantly, "not in this life... and as a friend mein tumko bhi yahi kahungi ki stop waiting for her and move on in your life... aaj itni mushkil se maine aur Pandit ne jo faisla liya hai zindagi mein aage badhne ka, ab tumhari baari hai... usne jitni khushiyaan humein nahin di usase bada dard dekar chali gayi... aur ab tumhari baari hai usey jaane dene ki, apni zindai se, apne dil se..."

Saying this she turned to go inside as never wanted to discuss more to show herself weak in her resolution to never keep any more hopes from Naina... his voice stops her abruptly, "Naina ke bina zindagi kaise jeeni hai yeh na mujhe aata hai na tumhein... jaise voh mere dil ki har dhadkan mein basi hai, jiske naam se meri saanse chalti hai vaise hi tumhare har khayal mein, tumhari har Khushi mein har gham mein sirf aur sirf Naina hi hai... mein har pal usey pyaar se aur tum gusse mein yaad karti ho, lekin yaad toh donon hi karte hai na... toh huyi na voh hum donon ke liye khaas... aur jo dil ke kareeb ho, sabse ajeej ho usey bhulaya nahin jaata... usey toh apne kareeb, dil mein chhupa kar rakha jaata hai... ek anmol khajane ki tarah uski hifajat ki jaati hai..." they both looked at each other with lots of emotions coiling inside but not get convinced by each other... they both were in pain and only one person can heal them...

Sameer boarded his private plane with Pooja leaving the little Vivaan with Preeti to stay back for the day... they decided to discuss all arrangements and finalize the venue within same day and came back by night... since Pooja has just come a day before, Vivaan was too tired after a long journey and prefers to stay with Preeti... Sameer suggest Preeti to go to meet Amrita and Aryan later to let little boys mingled up and had some fun time...

Pooja feeling relaxed smiled, "thank god donon maan gaye shaadi ke liye varna mujhe toh lag raha tha ki iss baar bhi koi na koi bahana bana denge"

Sameer closing his iPad handling official work smiled, "aapke saare decisions hamari bhalaai ke liye hote hai toh maanate kaise nahin... vaise bhi jahaan pyaar ita gehra ho vahaan toh judaai ka koi chance hi nahin hota na... unhein toh ek hona hi tha bas kuchh der lag gayi..." he smiled mockingly thinking his own fate... it was his bad luck which affects his friend's life also...

Pooja looking straight into his eyes asked, "Sameer, pata nahin lekin I have a gut feel ki jaldi hi tera intzaar bhi khatam ho jayega... jitni shiddat se tu apni dream girl ko dhundh raha hai I am sure bhagwan jaldi tumhein bhi milwa denge aur shayad Munna ko bhi uske pyaar se..."

Sameer taking a deep sigh, "kaash aisa hota didi... agar milwana hi hota toh humein alag hi kyun kiya... mujhe nahin pata hum kabhi dobara milenge ki nahin lekin apni zindagi ki aakhiri saans tak mein usey dhundhane ki koshish jaroor karunga... meri saansein shayad isi ek intzaar mein chal rahi hai ki kab mein apni dream girl se dobara milunga... aakhir kuchh sawaalo ke jawaad bhi toh dene hai usey..." he said recalling his past few years he spent so restlessly in her search...

Pooja feels bad seeing his dull face... just to change his mood she asked suddenly, "vaise Sameer soch agar aaj tujhe achanak voh mil jaaye aur tere saamne aa jaaye toh tu kya karega... I mean itne saalon baad kya usey apne saamne dekh kar tujhe abhi bhi vahi pyaar wali feeling aa payegi... kahin itne saalon mein tum donon ke beech jo ehsaas the kahin ab nahin huye toh..."

Sameer smiled lowering his eyes feeling shy, "pata nahin didi mein kaise react karunga... I mean shayad uss pal mein meri poori duniya tham si jayegi... infact mujhe apna toh nahin pata lekin itna yakeen hai ki voh mujhe dekhte hi gale laga legi jaise pehle lagaya karti thi... mere bina do din nahin bita paayi thi aur aansuon ki ganga baha di thi jab mein achanak usey chhod kar Mumbai chala gaya tha... toh socho itne saalon ki duri ke baar toh apne aap ko rok hi nahin paayegi voh... mujhe naraaz hai shayad lekin apne pyaar chhupana nahin aata usey..."

Pooja realizing the true love between them smiled, "lekin tu bhi toh kuchh bolega na usey apne saamne dekh kar... kahin Khushi ke maare behosh mat ho jaana... pata laga tera sapne tere saamne khada ho aur tu aankhen hi na khole..." she laughed teasing him seeing his face turned completely red feeling shy while talking about her...

"hmm yeh jaroor ho sakta hai... aapko nahin maloom lekin pehle jab bhi usey apne saamne dekhta tha toh kuchh bhi theek se bol nahin pata tha... I mean jo bhi mere man mein hota tha hamesha uske opposite hi react karta tha... mujhse toh theek se uski taarif bhi nahin ki jaati thi aur jabardasti usko baar baar apne saamne bulata rehta tha... infact kai baar toh meri wajah se voh itna irritate ho jaati thi ki uska bas chalta toh gusse mein mera sar phod deti... aur gusse mein jab khud se hi baatein karti thi toh man karta tha bas dekhta hi rahoon... infact maine toh uski seat ke paas ak CCTV camera bhi laga rakha tha chhupa kar taaki har waqt voh meri najron ke saamne rahi... lekin didi sach kahoon toh gusse mein bhi vh itni cute lagti thi ki meri najrein kabhi usase dur ho hi nahin paati thi..." he laughed telling her how he always irritates her with his weird and crazy behaviour...

Pooja laughed slowly poking his forehead, "Nanu sach mein tujhe buddhu bilkul sahi kehte hai... bhala apne pyaar ka izhaar koi aise karta hai kisi ko pareshaan karke... yeh kya baat huyi ki agar pyaar se na maane toh daant kar manwa lo... aur apni biwi par bossgiri kaun dikhata hai.... I must say that girl must be great who handle all your craziness aur uske baad bhi tujhe itna pyaar kiya ki itne saalon baad bhi uske pyaar ka junoon tere dil aur dimaag par chhaya hua hai..."

Sameer smiled, "yes, you are right di... varna itne saal baad bhi mujhe sachchi khushi sirf uske zikra se milti hai... I mean jab bhi uska naam bhi sirf sunta hoon toh lagta hai voh kahin bohot mere aas paas hi hai... na jaane kitni baar mera yeh sapna toota hai lekin iske poori hone ki ummid kabhi nahin tooti... jaise aaj mujhe lag raha hai ki bas mein plane se utarunga aur voh mere saamne khadi milegi... daud kar meri baahon mein sama jayegi..." he keeps telling her all his weird thoughts how he always imagined her to be in front of him...

बंद आँखे जो किसी पल मैं अचानक खोलूं,
क्या तमाशा हो अगर सामने तुम आ जाओ!

Since the day Naina left, Preeti and Pandit both were so upset and never discuss much about her with Sameer more to ensure he will not hurt more...

Since his childhood he was always be very close to Pooja and never feels hesitates to share his true feelings and pains... she was just 5 years older to him but was a true friend and mentor for three of them

Pooja smiled feeling her eyes damp seeing him smiling so cutely with mere a thought of being with her... she can imagine the moment when actually they both will meet... that may be the most beautiful moment she had ever imagine...

Pooja holds his hand tightly in her assuring, "I truly wish ki tera yeh sapna jaldi poora ho... jis tarah aaj teri wajah se Pandit aur Preeti ek bandhan mein bandhane ja rahe hai usi tarah tujhe aur Munna ko bhi bhagwan tumhare pyaar se jaldi milwa de taaki mein apne haath se apne bhaiyon ke sar par sehra saja sakun... infact ab toh tum donon se jyaada mein unn ladkiyon se milne ke liye betaab hoon jinhone mere nalayak bhaiyon ko sachche pyaar ka ehsaas karaya..." tears keep flowing from her eyes wishing all luck to his brothers...

Sameer pulled her in a soft hug seeing her feeling sad because of him... he knew how much his pains affects her and that was the reason he initially hesitates to inform her about his marriage as he himself was not sure about their future... but the moment he decided to reveal their relation to all, Naina left leaving him alone...

Soon their flight landed into Airport... getting down from plane Pooja feels dizziness and uncomfortable... she was feeling tired with continuous travel... seeing her not in good condition, Sameer insisted her to first go for a check-up and then handle other work... her health was utmost important for him... he asked driver to take them to the nearest hospital...
