Whole day spent with same teasing session which they both were enjoying fullest... in evening Naina prepare his coffee and went to his cabin with a determination to make him talk to her... no matter how much stubborn he is, she is not less than him...

Keeping coffee on his table she keeps updating him with all her work, asking for his suggestions but again he keep looking at her face with a naughty smirk on his face but didn't reply her...

Naina purposely picked up some files keeping in front of him to ask his opinion, "I have already checked all details and data... I request if you can also check and advise if any changes to be done... I have to prepare presentation for tomorrow's meeting..." she tried all possible ways to make his speak but failed...

Seeing him failing all her attempts, she huffed in anger, stomped her feet frustratedly and turned to go out from cabin when suddenly Pandit barged into cabin without knock... he was totally distressed and looking extremely panicky and messed up...

Naina asked concernedly getting Sameer's attention too, "what happened to you? why are you looking so much disturbed?"

Pandit sits on couch tapping his feet nervously giving no consideration to either of them... totally lost in his own thoughts.... seeing him in this state Sameer too gets worried for his friend who always be in jolly mood...

Sameer quickly rolled his wheelchair towards him followed by Naina... keeping his hand on his shoulder he jerked her, "hey... what happen... kya hua hai... itna pareshaan kyun hai... kuchh bolega ki nahin..."

Pandit looked at him nervously almost on urge of crying, "kaise bataau yaar... I mean... aise kaise sab ho gaya... mujhe toh yakeen hi nahin ho raha ki yeh sab mere saath hua... maine toh sapne mein bhi nahin socha tha ki mujhe yeh din bhi dekhna padega..."

He turned suddenly to Naina making her sit next to him asked, "Naina tum bataao... kya mein bohot jyaada hi duffer hun... shakal se bewkoof aur nalayak lagta hun..."

Naina thinking for a while, shook her head cutely, "nahin... shakal se toh theek thaak hi lagte ho aap magar..."

Pandit jumped shouting loudly, "kya matlab tumhara... shakal theek hai aur akkal se nalayak... Naina tum toh mujhe bhai maanti ho na toh tum toh kam se kam meri taarif karo... chaahe jhuthi hi sahi par kam se kam mere munh par toh sach bol kar mera dil mat dukhao..."

Sameer getting impatient hit on his head, "ab bolega bhi kya hua hai... kab se gol gol baatein ghuma raha hai... kuchh batayega toh samajh aayega na ki kisne tera dil dukha diya... ro toh aise raha hai jaise canteen wale ne ek samosa kam de diya ho khaane ko..." he laughed slowly teasing him more...

Pandit making crying face said, "haan haan tu bhi maar le, majaak uda le mera... meri toh vaise bhi koi izzat nahin... kisi ko iss masoom ki nahin padi... ek voh jallad ladki hai aur ek tu zaalim dost... koi nahin mera apna jo mera dard samjhe..." he said wiping his unshed tears

Sameer rubbed his forehead getting irritated giving a murderous look to him... he opened his mouth to scold him for his non-sense behavior when Naina blinked her eyes assuring she will handle it...

She turned to Pandit holding his hand, "mein toh behen hoon na aapki... mujhe bhi nahin batayenge kya hua... yaad hai aapne kaha tha ki jab bhi mujhe baat karni ho mein aapke paas aa sakti hoon... so just trust me today and tell me what happened... aur koi aapko gussa nahin karega... okay" she said last line eyeing to Sameer to remain quiet...

Pandit finally making a pity face utter slowly, "tujhe toh bataunga hi... aur kaun hai mera apna yahaan tere siwa... mujhe pata hai tu mera dard jaroor samjhegi..." giving an angry look to Sameer he narrates all happening few minutes back...

Flashback...

Pandit was passing from Preeti's floor when heard her chatting carefreely and laughing with one of her male colleagues... feeling bit jealous he went to them seeing them laughing on some random jokes... making a strict face he said, "whats going on... yeh office hai na... don't you have any work.... why you guys are wasting time here..."

The male employee knowing Pandit is from CEO office hurriedly go back to his desk avoiding any further scolding, when Preeti rolling her eyes said, "what was that... yeh kya tareeka hua mere friend se baat karne ka... are you trying to be bossy with me"

Pandit knowing her fiery nature lowered his tone, "nahin nahin yaar, tum aisa kaise soch sakti ho... tumhein pata hai na mein kitna soft aur friendly nature ka hoon..."

Pandit coax her, "voh maine socha thodi der tumhare saath baat kar lun toh bas usey bhaga diya, aur kuchh nahin... meri ek daant se dekha kaise darr gaya voh... aakhir meri personality hi kuchh aisi hai... you know smart, handsome, intelligent, popular..." he said raising his collar in praise himself...

Preeti squeezed her eyes keeping her hand on her waist, "really... tumhein dekh kar mujhe toh aisa nahin lagta kabhi... balki mujhe toh laga kisi ke dil mein aag lag gayi thi mujhe kisi aur ke saath hansata dekh kar... jalne ki badbu aa rahi hai kisi mein se..."

She said rolling her eyes angrily, "Mr Pandit lekin yeh office hai aur yahaan ke kuchh rule regulations hain... you should not behave like this... what will other think about us... and I don't want others to gossip about us..."

Pandit said proudly, "don't worry, I am with CEO... tum jaanti nahin sab mujhse kitna darrte hai... no one has dare to speak in front of me... mere rehte tumhein chinta karne ki koi jarurat nahin..." he said trying to make her at ease showing off ...

Preeti getting more angrier said, "haan bas yahi sunana rah gaya tha... khud se toh apne dil ki baat kahi nahin jaati aur CEO ke dam par hawa mein udwa lo... bas auron par hi rob jhadate rehna... fattu kahin ke..."

Pandit suddenly getting nervous seeing her angry, "aisa nahin hai... I mean... mein kisi se nahin darrta... dekhna ek din sab bol dunga... haan... tumhari bolti na bandh ki toh mera naam bhi Pandit nahin... fattu nahin hoon mein..." he mustered all his courage to reply her back with confidence but inside he scared accepting her challenge to confess his feeling in front of her...

Preeti provoke him suppressing her laughter, "haan haan dekh lenge... bade aaye... lallu laal... vaise na yahi naam suit karta hai tumhein... dekha hai maine kaise mere aage aate hi tumhari saari hawa nikla jaati hai... confession kya khaak karoge....fusssssssi..." saying this she laughed loudly and left to her desk leaving sulky Pandit...

Flashback ends...

Pandit looked at Naina with a pity face asking, "mein lallu laal hun kya... maana thoda bhola bhaala sa hun par aise toh majaak nahin udaana chahiye na mera... meri galti hai kya jo usey dekhte hi meri hawa nikal jaati hai... tumhein toh pata hai na kitni zaalim types hai voh... aise ghurati hai ki aankhon se hi goli maar degi toh darke toh rehna hi padega na mujhe..."

Sameer giving a hard smack on his head, "chup kar... jaan nikaal di tu ne hamari... mujhe laga pata nahin kaun sa toofan aaya hai... lallu hi toh kaha hai usne... kya galat kah rahi hai... mein toh shuru se hi kehta tha ki ladki smart aur intelligent hai... dekha tujhe kitne achchhe se jaan gayi thode hi dinon mein..." he said holding his laughter...

Pandit complaint to Naina, "dekha... bas yahi sunana rah gaya tha... khud toh koi madad karta nahin... useless... aur mera majaak uda raha hai... isiliye isey nahin bata raha tha..."

Naina looked at Sameer pleading, "please help kijiye na... dekhiye mere bhai ki kya haalat ho rahi hai... yeh Preeti bhi na, koi mauka nahin chhodati majaak udaane ka... milne do, usaki achchhe se khabar lungi..."

Sameer turned his face to other side adamantly to not to talk with her ignoring her pleading face... he was still not ready to let her go until she takes his name...

Pandit looked at them one by one and shouts, "yaar tum donon apna aankh micholi ka khel bandh karoge aur chup chap se meri help karo... apni baaki ki ladaai kal kar lena... mera toh socho... kitni beizzati huyi hai, man kar raha hai chaar din khaana na khaau..."

Naina support him requesting again, "please help kijiye na... dekhiye kitna depressed hain, ki khaana chhodne ki baat kar rahe hai... aise toh bimaar pad jayenge..." knowing Pandit's love for food she knew the matter is extremely serious this time...

Sameer laughed madly, "bechara... sharam se log paani mein doobate hai aur isne khaana chhodne ki sochi hai... dhanya hai mera bhukkad lover dost..."

Pandit said with a cute baby face, "mere liye toh khaana chhodna marne ke baraabar hi hai na... ab dekh madad kar de varna mere paas bhi bohot kuchh hai kisi ko batane ke liye..." he said to Sameer in a threatening tone looking at Naina... he can reveal all his hidden secrets and feelings to Naina...

Sameer hold his hand giving hard look, "khabardaar kuchh bola toh... mein kar raha hoon na teri madad... dhamki mat de..."

Pandit smiled widely, "yeh huyi na koi baat... ab dekhta hoon us chhipkali ko... badi aayi mera naam lallu laal rakhne wali... ek din usko Mrs Lallu laal nahin banaya toh mera naam bhi pandit nahin..." Samaina looked at him and laughed loudly seeing his kidish behavior to win over his love...

Sameer finally said to encourage him, "dekh Pandit, ab agar izzat bachani hai toh aaj hi Preeti Mehta ko dikha de ki tu usase darta nahin... jaa mere veer jawaan aur ja kar aaj hi usey propose kar de aur usaki bolti bandh kar de..." he patted his back giving courage suppressing his laughter... he boosts him to go and win the battle of heart... Pandit agreed on his suggestion and stood to go with a confidence look...

Naina knowing Sameer's tricks to make Pandit fool, hold his hand and make him sit back, "par socha hai karoge kaise... matlab kuchh toh properly plan hona chahiye na... bina soche samjhe jaaoge toh pata hai na Preeti ke aage kuchh nahin bol paaoge... phir majaak ban jaayega..."

She glared at Sameer, "please ab majaak banana bandh kijiye mere bhai ka aur theek se help kijiye... iss tarah chane ke jhaad par chada rahe hai ki Preeti inka kachumbar bana degi... koi dhang ka idea dijiya na"

She said lost in her own thoughts, "aaj inn donon ki poori life ka sawaal hai aur yeh kuchh pal, yeh moments har kisi ki zindagi mein bohot special hote hai, jo zindagi mein sirk ek baar aate hai aur hamesha ke liye meethi yaad ban kar rah jaate hai... mein yeh nahin kahti ki mehanga gift ya venue decide kiya jaaye par kam se kam propose karte waqt jo feelings, jo expressions hone chahiye voh bohot maayane rakhte hai... aise thode hi ki gaye aur bol diya... yeh dil ki baatein hai jise pyaar se kaha jaata hai taaki saamne wala inqaar hi na kar paaye... aapke dil se nikle aur seedha uske dil tak jaaye..." she said with a dreamy look on her face...

Pandit and Sameer keep looking her with wide eyes... being always be in a group of boys and never get into such relationship they both were totally clueless... even seeing Naina's smiling face while describing this feeling, Sameer feel bad for her as she had never got such chance ever in her life...

Three of them debated a lot on so many ideas to how to propose her.... finally, they all decided and agreed on one common plan... Naina left to meet Preeti leaving both the boys to do all the arrangements for a perfect proposal...

Pandit seeing her going out said smilingly, "yaar humne toh kabhi socha hi nahin tha ki yeh proposal itani badi baat hoti hai... I mean kuchh bhi kah Naina ne jis tarah samjhaya hai lagta hai aaj mein pakka apne dil ki baat kah hi dunga... ek alag si himmat mil rahi hai uski baatein sun kar..."

Sameer hummed in response all lost in his own thoughts when Pandit laughed slowly, "vaise manana padega, hum jaise nalayako ko ladkiyaan bohot chun kar mili hai... donon kitni alag hai ek dusre se par phir bhi kitni perfect hai apne aap mein... Naina shahad jaisi meethi hai toh Preeti teekhi mirchi... lekin rishtey nibhane mein donon ek jaisi..."

Sameer laughed on his description, "mujhse kaha hai par yeh jaakar Preeti ko mat kah dena... varna vahi teekhi mirchi khila degi tujhe... chal ab jaldi se sab preparation karein varna Preeti ka gussa toh tu jaanta hai na..." they both quickly make all the arrangements decided by trio...

Naina went to Preeti seeing her busy in work, "Preeti, tu yahaan kaam mein busy hai aur mujhe teri kitni jarurat hai... tujhe na meri bilkul bhi chinta nahin... dekh li teri dosti..." she said dramatically...

Preeti hit on her arm, "chup kar... aaj sabko hua kya hai... pehle tera bhai nautanki kar raha tha aur ab tu... dekh mein kehti hun usase dur raha kar... varna sab ut patang harkatein seekh jayegi... jo kehna hota hai voh toh kehta nahin, bas bakswaas karwa lo..." she said last line slowly but audible to Naina...

Suppressing her laughter Naina hold her hand, "chal na please mere saath... mujhe na aaj shopping par jaana hai... tujhe pata hai na akele mujhse kuchh nahin hota..."

Preeti screamed happily, "wow... tujhe shopping par jaana hai... chalo kam se kam tu ne meri baat toh maani... chal aaj hi chalte hai varna kahin baad mein tera mood badal gaya toh..." quickly she wrapped up her work to leave office with her...

The moment she stood to go asked, "par Naina ek baat bata... tujhe permission kaise mil gayi... matlab aaj kal toh Sameer tujhe ek minute ke liye bhi nahin chhodate akela... unka man lag jayega tere bina itani der ke liye..."

Feeling shy she drags her hand to go out, "aisa kuchh nahin hai... vaise voh abhi ek important meeting mein busy hai... tujhe bhi na har waqt mujhe chhedane ka bahana chahiye hota hai bas... chal varna der ho jayegi..."

The moment they stepped out from office building, Sameer's driver approached them, "madam, Sir ka message aaya tha ki aapko jahaan jaana hai mein le jaaunga... please come" he politely opened the car door for the girls to give them a ride...

Preeti nudged her elbow, "dekha maine kya kaha tha... kitna bhi meeting mein busy ho, teri har harqat par nazar rehti hai unki... dikha kahin spy cameras toh nahin laga rakhe tujh par" she said checking on her hand and face making fun of his possessive and caring nature...

Naina hitting on his head pull her sitting in car thinking, "baat nahin karni par ek minute ke liye bhi meri chinta karna nahin chhodenge... vaise bhi ab office time over ho gaya hai, ab dekhti hoon kaise baat nahin karte mujhse... ziddi kahin ke..."

Reaching at nearby mall, Naina took her to a store and keep her busy in selecting dresses for both of them... Preeti got irritated seeing her picking up so many dresses but not selecting any of them...

Preeti, "yaar aaj tujhe hua kya hai... kab se dresses try kiye ja rahi hai aur kuchh pasand nahin aa raha... lagta hai ab tujhe Sameer ke saath hi shopping par aana chahiye... aakhir unki pasand se hi toh pehnegi na..." she winked showing her the dress she is wearing is also selected by Sameer only for her...

Naina smiled thinking how daily they are deciding dresses for each other to wear... his small gesture might be not a big thing for him but for her these moments are precious...

Seeing her lost in her dreamworld, Preeti elbowed her, "oye... kahaan kho jaati hai tu achanak se... itani yaad aa rahi hai toh phone kar le na... I am sure voh bhi tujhe hi yaad kar rahe honge..."

Naina avoid her teasing more pulled her to other section of western dresses, "meri chhod chal aaj tere liye mein apni pasand ki dress select karungi aur tu mana nahin karegi... kya pata tujhe yun dekh kar mera bhai apne hosh hi kho de..." she pushed Preeti into a trial room giving an elegant knee length dress fit for the occasion...

Preeti came out to show her when Naina insist, "Preeti please tu aaj isey hi pehen le... hum bill pay kar dete hai... bohot pyaari lag rahi hai... don't change now..." Preeti tried to deny but seeing her so adamant she agreed...

They selected few matching accessories and went to payment counter... Preeti said in a complaining tone seeing her behaving weirdly, "yaar shopping toh tujhe karni thi na... ek toh mujhe karwa di aur ab change bhi nahin karne de rahi... hua kya hai tujhe... lagta hai Sameer sir ki sangat ka asar ho gaya hai jo aaj ajeeb ajeeb harkatein kar rahi hai..."

Naina, "yaar bas aise hi mera man kiya toh... tujhe pata hai na tu mere liye kitna mayne rakhti hai... dekh tu jo kehti hai mein maanti hoon na toh bas aaj meri baat maan le... I am just so happy to see you in this dress... chal ab pay karein mujhe washroom jaana hai..."

Preeti shook her head subconsciously seeing her strange behavior and followed her to washroom... Naina insist her to do slight make-up and open her hair... wearing matching accessories she looked stunning...

Naina smiled seeing her mobile beeping continuously... reading the text she quickly turned to Preeti, "chal na jaldi kar, mujhe bohot bhukh lagi hai... pehle kuchh kha kar aate hai phir baaki ki shopping karenge..."

Before Preeti opposed her she dragged her out and reached to another floor... they entered in a restaurant seeing it all vacant...

Preeti asked suspiciously, "yaar, are you sure tujhe yahin khaana hai... I mean mujhe lagta hai yeh restaurant aaj bandh hai... dekh koi bhi nahin hai yahaan..."

Naina make excuse to avoid getting her suspicious, "yaar hum jaldi aa gaye hai na... dekh abhi dinner time bhi nahin hua... lets go and sit inside... maine suna hai yahaan ka khaana bohot tasty hai..."

Naina pulled her inside and settled on a center table... waiter came to take order when Naina said, "hum decide karke batate hai... thodi der mein..." she gets nervous with Preeti's suspicious looks...

Waiter left and Naina stood hurriedly, "tu yahi ruk, mein abhi aayi... mujhe kuchh yaad aa gaya... bas do minute tu kahin mat jaana..." she left the restaurant coming out and dialed Pandit's number... knowing they still need few minutes more to reach she scolds him, "jaldi aao... pata hai kitna mushkil hai Preeti se jhuth bolna... mujhse aur nahin roka ja raha... voh restaurant mein akele baithi hai..."

Naina decided to wait for them outside only to avoid her more questioning... she roamed outside randomly seeing a kid's toys shop on the right-hand side of the restaurant...

She entered and smiled seeing a big size of soft pink teddy bear at display... she looked around with so many sets of barbie doll and other toys... subconsciously her hand went to her stomach with a soft smile, "baby ko yeh sab pasand hoga na... dekhna mein aapke liye kitne saare toys laaungi..."

She asked the shopkeeper about the big size teddy bear and shocked to hear costing of 5,000... though she was eager to buy it but for her this amount seems big as she needs to save money for her future... separating from Sameer after their contract period, she might have no support and needs money to take care of herself and baby in future all alone...
