Naina to avoid all ridiculous thoughts about Sharad, engrossed herself in work... she worked till late evening until all staff left... she noticed even Sameer was also left with Pandit for a meeting... a big relief for her as she doesn't want to face him any more... telling him about Sharad is totally out of question for her....

Even after what all happened in front of Preeti, Naina doesn't have courage left to meet her now... she knew until she herself will not say, Preeti will not ask anything, but how will she face her... Preeti starts considering her as her sister but till now Naina didn't get perfect time to tell her about herself... Preeti was already going through an emotional trauma and Naina doesn't want to add more at this moment...

Before leaving from office, Pandit informed that they will send a car for her to go back home which she accepted without any argument... she doesn't feel like to deny Pandit every time seeing his supportive nature... but somehow from corner of her heart she knew it's all Sameer, who is doing all this for her... but not ready to show-off...

It was all dark outside when finally, she wrapped up her desk... taking elevator, she came down straight at basement parking area finding it all vacant... even guard was not seen anywhere at this point of time... she initially planned to call Pandit to check for car but drop the idea... seems he must have forgotten it, so let it be... she is used too of going by bus...

Naina walked towards the exit gate feeling bit strange as the entire building is of Maheshwari group and had very high-level security... she had seen guards always available but today no one was there... sensing something wrong she quickened her steps to leave the isolated area... since after she come across with Sharad, a strange fear encased into her heart sensing something wrong going to happen, making her shiver...

Walking fast she was about to reach close to exit gate when feel someone following her... she turned and shocked to see the person standing in front of her, smiling shamelessly... again...

She shouted on him instantly, "tum... tum phir se aa gaye... dekho mein akeli hun iska matlab yeh nahin ki tum mujhe pareshaan karoge... tum nahin gaye toh mein shor macha dungi... mein darrti nahin tumse..." she gets frustrated with Sharad for chasing her like mad...

Sharad shouts, "chup... bohot jubaan chalne lagi hai tumhari... jab mere ghar mein thi toh awaaz bhi nahin nikalti thi aur ab dekho... vaise mujhe koi shok nahin hai tumhare pichhe aane ka... mujhe tumse kuchh jaruri kaam hai, bas voh kar do toh mein tumhari taraf mud kar bhi nahin dekhunga..." he said carelessly forgetting what all he had done with her in past ruining her life and image

Naina giving him a disgusting look said, "tumhein jara bhi sharam nahin aati yeh sab kehte huye.. tumne jo mujhe dhokha diya uske baad mujhse koi bhi ummid kaise rakh sakte ho tum... iss baar mein tumhari baaton mein nahin aane wali... samjhe tum... vaise bhi mera jitna bura tum kar sakte the kar chuke... ab mere paas barbaad hone ke liye bhi kuchh nahin bacha jo mein tumse darun..."

Sharad fumed in anger seeing her replying on his face bluntly... keeping his anger in control he lowered his tone to convince her, "dekho Naina, baat ko samjho tum... mein bohot jyaada  pareshaan hun aaj kal... meri job chali gayi hai aur tum jaanti hi ho ki meri wife pregnant hai... mujhe paiso aur kaam ki sakht jarurat hai... mujhe pata chala hai ki tum iss Maheshwari Company mein achchhi post par ho aur tumhari yahaan chalti bhi hai... mein apna business shuru karna chahta hun toh tum apne boss se kah kar mujhe agar ek contract dilwa dogi toh mera naam market mein aa jayega... isase mera business ek dum se chal padega ... bas mujhe aur kuchh nahin chahiye tumse... uske baad mein palat kar bhi tumhari taraf nahin dekhunga...." he said having no shame in his eyes...

Naina feels disgusted hearing him, "aur tumhein lagta hai mein tum jaise dhokhebaaj ko apni company mein recommend karungi jo kisi ke bharose ke laayak nahin... tumhari fitrat mein dhokha hai aur mein tum par kabhi trust nahin kar sakti... samjhe tum..." she shouted back on him...

Sharad tried to hold her arm when she stepped back, "khabardaar jo mujhe haath bhi lagaya tumne... chale jaao yahaan se aur kabhi mujhe apni shakal bhi mat dikhana... mera tumse koi waasta nahin... maine apni zindagi mein tumse jyaada ghatiya insaan nahin dekha..."

Sharad shouted back, "tujhe kya lagta hai ki mujhe nahin pata tere baare mein... you too cheated on me... hamare beech koi relation nahin tha but still you are pregnant... I know you are trying to hide your pregnancy... if you didn't help me than I will disclose to whole world..."

Naina shattered that how can a person stoop so low... also how did he know about her pregnancy.... still, she doesn't want him to see her weak side... she replied fearlessly, "tumhein jo karna hai kar lo... vaise bhi tum mujhe characterless saabit kar chuke ho toh ismein kaun si badi baat hai... and I am really so happy ki yeh bachcha tumhara nahin hai... aur mein iss par kabhi tumhari parchhayi bhi nahin padne dungi... tum jaise ghatiya insaan ke saaye se bhi dur rakhungi isey..."

She turned to leave the place avoiding further argument with him... the moment she steps ahead he again grabbed her arm harshly and pulled towards him, "how dare you show me your tantrums... tumhari himmat kaise huyi... tum abhi tak mujhe achchhe se samjhi nahin... mein chaahun toh abhi tumhari so called izzat ki dhajiyaan udaa sakta hun.. shukra karo maine tumhein kabhi chhua nahin varna tum toh ek minute mein mere saamne..." he changed his tone seeing she denied straightly to help him

Before he complete Naina slaps him hard, "tum aur kitna neecha giroge Sharad... kuchh toh sharam karo... ghar mein tumhari biwi hai, voh bhi Pregnant... pehle mujhe dhokha diya aur ab usey bhi... tumhari himmat kaise huyi mujhse yeh ghatiya baat karne ki bhi... tum par vishwas karti thi isliye tumhari har baat maanati thi, par tum toh kisi ke vishwas aur bharose ke laayak hi nahin ho... ghinn aati hai mujhe soch kar ki kabhi tumse mera koi rishta tha... mera naam tumhare naam ke saath juda tha..." her eyes shot red in fury... as if someone just poured hot oil in ears listening his disgusting unbearable talks...

She jerked her hand and about to move when he turned her grabbing her arm harshly and lift his hand intending to hit her harshly... Naina subconsciously closed her eyes but shocked when didn't feel his touch on her cheeks... she feel his grip loosened on her arm too...

She opened her eyes slowly to see Sharad half bent clutching his stomach wincing in pain after getting a hard punch from Sameer which saves her to get a slap from him...

Naina was startled by the sudden change of situation... she shocked seeing him there at this moment of time...

Sameer giving deathly glares to Sharad pulled Naina towards him from other hand, "how dare you even think to touch my wife?" he shouted on him... if looks can kill, Sharad would have already in hell...

Naina takes a relief of sigh suddenly seeing him here when her trance broke with Sharad's laugh, "oh... so this is the reason for her weird behavior... how quickly she found another man for her... so disgusting..." he said glaring Naina with a shameful look...

Sharad turned to looked at Sameer who was in wheelchair, but his temperament showed that he was not an ordinary person.... he tried to recall and realize he is Sameer Maheshwari, CEO of Maheshwari group of Companies... got the biggest shock of his life... he was not aware of whereabout of Naina after being divorced as she was nothing for her...

Recently he got to know from someone that she is working in no. 1 company of country and tried to take advantage of her innocence... initially he was not interested to approach her, thinking why Naina will help him but after knowing secret of her pregnancy he got the chance to blackmail her...

Sharad seeing the table turned, suddenly changed his tone, "Sir, I... I didn't mean this... you don't know this girl at all... she is very cunning... I am sure isne aapko bhi bewkoof banakar paiso ke liye aapse shaadi ki hai... iske jaisi ladkiyaan kuchh bhi kar sakti hai... yeh toh har roj kisi gair aadmi ke..." he kneels down in front of him trying to defame Naina...

Knowing Naina married to Sameer, he tried to take advantage by creating differences between them... he can still prove her characterless showing the pictures saved in his mobile till now which he used earlier to blackmail her... he tried to gain sympathy from Sameer to take some benefit out of it...

A hard punch on his nose from Sameer suddenly stops him blurting rubbish about Naina... he groaned giving hard looks to Sharad, "don't forget you are talking about my wife... agli baar agar Naina ka naam bhi teri zubaan par aaya toh mujhse bura koi nahin hoga... just stay away from her..." he gnashed his teeth with anger and hatred towards the person who can go to any extent to tarnish a girls esteem and dignity for his own greed... ridiculous...

Naina realize that she was a fool to even think to have a life with Sharad... the feelings she had once for him had long vanished and they had formed into an intense hatred and disgust... she felt relieved that the child in her womb is not his and by god grace this person has never got the chance to touch him.... she indeed feels blessed today...

Naina's gaze turned looking at Sameer with grateful eyes... though their relation is just for few months only, but he saved her today... again... saved her dignity... she did not expect that situation to take such a turn and Sameer will support her unconditionally... without questioning...

Suddenly a loud screamed came out from her mouth seeing Sharad tying to punch back to Sameer, but Pandit was quick enough to hold his hand in air and pushed him hard falling on ground... Sameer's eyes were shooting daggers at Sharad...

Sameer's grip on Naina's hand was getting tighter than earlier showing his anger... seeing the situation turned more tensed, Naina looked at him to leave the matter here only... though she had no soft corner left for Sharad, but she doesn't want Sameer also to get into any trouble because of her... Rocky's incident and later his attempt to kill him was still refresh in her mind... that was all because of her only...

Sameer seeing her in tears tried to cool himself when suddenly Sharad stood and picked up a rod lying there and throw towards Naina with full force to hurt her... he can't bear himself to get insulted because of her... if she is of no use for him then he doesn't mind even to hurt her for his insult... anyways he has no feelings for her and always used her for his own selfish motives...

Seeing the iron rod flying towards Naina, Sameer's heart suddenly sank... Sameer quickly pulled her into his arm from one hand and rolled his wheelchair to other direction before getting her hit... rod fell on the place where Naina was standing just a second ago with a loud voice... but fortunately Sameer pulled her away and avoid getting her hit badly...

Pandit breathed a sigh of relief seeing Naina and Sameer were fine... he was not expecting him to be so harsh and tried to hit Naina... he angrily rushed towards Sharad giving hard punch on his face and stomach... not leaving any more chance for him to take any further move against Sameer and Naina...

Sharad winced in pain lying at cold hard floor there only... soon their guards came and took the charge of Sharad, pulling him out of their sight from parking with Pandit...

Sameer looked at Naina who was half lying in his arms keeping her eyes closed due to fear, clutching his suit collar tightly in her shivering palms... she was looking adorably cute and innocent... she was still afraid, and her petite body was quivering... he could see her eyelashes fluttering a little...

Sameer softly caressed her cheeks, "are you okay...?" he asked concernedly as she was so scared that kept her eyes closed holding onto Sameer tightly...

Naina slowly opened her eyes in fear looking into his deep dark eyes... Sameer had been staring at her for a long time, caressing her back to soothe her... she was still frightened and shivering of what all happened just now... her eyes were red and swollen... she lowered her eyes feeling guilty and ashamed to have any relation with a person like Sharad in past...

Sameer's heart skipped a beat seeing her in such state... the sound of footsteps coming closer make them realize their surroundings... it took a longer time for her to stood from his lap as her feet was still trembling in fear... Sameer didn't leave her hand until she got stable on her feet...

Sameer glimpsed at her mockingly, "how did you spend six months with that jerk... and you still want to keep his baby... protecting it... you are such a fool..."

His words stunned Naina... she did not know how to answer him...she realized that as per Sameer and others its Sharad's baby... and she cannot even justify to anyone... the way she is safeguarding and eager to keep the baby can make anyone suspected that she still cares about her relation with Sharad whereas the reality was far more different how it looks...

She looked down at their entwined hands saying slowly, "it's only my baby... I don't want anyone to take any responsibility..." saying this she quietly removed her hand from his grip...

Naina lowered her eyes with a depressed expression on her face, making him hurt too... he frowned pulling himself away glancing her angrily, "forget it... I must say, I have never seen a smart idiot like you..."

Pandit came back informing that guards had took the charge of Sharad and now he will never be in position to came close to her... he comforted Naina asking her well-being... they both moved towards their car... 

Naina stood rooted there with damp eyes as unable to take step towards them... heard a harsh voice with no expressions, "are you coming with us or want him to come back to give you a ride ...?"

She silently followed them as having no other choice... they settled in car and moved towards the home... she sits maintaining good distance from him... both were lost in their own world looking outside... the much they tried to ignore each other, more they craved for...

Naina in her mind, "mujhe ghinn aati hai khud se ki maine kabhi sharad jaise ghatiya insaan ke saath apni zindagi ke sapne dekhe the... uski soch itni ghatiya hogi mujhe nahin pata tha... par aaj jis tarah se Sameerji ne mera saath diya uske saamne, unka ehsaan hamesha rahega... par chah kar bhi sach nahin bata saki ki yeh bachcha Sharad ka nahin hai... hamare beech itne raaz hai ki chah kar bhi hum ek dusre ke kareeb nahin aa paayenge... par phir kyun hamesha voh meri madad karte hai...

Did he really care for me?

When my own parents never loved me truly, why would anyone else will love me unconditionally... par mujhe pata karna padega ki Sharad ko mere baare mein itna sab kaise pata hai... mein kahaan kaam karti hoon, kis position par aur meri pregnancy... isaki khabar toh mere parents ko bhi nahin phir Sharad ko kaise pata chala..."

The awkward silence prevailed during their whole journey... none of them initiate any talks... getting down from car, they silently moved to their room...

Naina went to her room whereas Sameer moved to his study as doesn't want to see her anymore... he was annoyed with her thinking...

Sameer POV

Why she hid from me about Sharad?...

After seeing bruise marks on her wrist, he asked Pandit to find out who has the guts to hurt her physically... initially Preeti was not willing to spill the truth but seeing Pandit's concern for Naina she tells him what all happened outside the restaurant and how Sharad threaten and misbehave with her....

Sameer wants to give him a good piece of mind but restrict himself as Naina doesn't want him to deal with it... he was anyways doubtful since he has seen messages on her mobile from Sharad and his pleading to meet him... making it more suspicious...

Is she still in love with him?

Is she wants to go back to Sharad because of baby?

In evening, Sameer left office early to get rid of these painful thoughts when Pandit informed about the matter of car breakdown which they left for Naina... they took a U-turn to pick her up as doesn't want her to suffer any more... since afternoon she seems lost and hurt but didn't share her pain with any one... he wants to comfort her but couldn't get courage seeing her cold behavior as she still consider him a stranger...

They checked from the guards at entry gate of building that Naina has still not came down... they went to check her on their floor, but it was all empty... Pandit tried her number which was non-reachable... they came down in parking expecting her to be there waiting for the car where they saw Naina slapping someone hard... and before Sharad slapped her back, Sameer stops him giving a hard punch...

But it was more dreadful when Sharad tried hard to hurt her after getting hit by Sameer to take revenge... if he doesn't make her move, she would have badly hurt by him... but it soothes seeing her feeling secure and safe in his arms... but then why she doesn't want to spend her life peacefully with him... why she still wants to keep Sharad's child ...

But at last, he rebukes himself that how can he ask her to get rid of this child... he knows her medical condition which can be a threat to her life if she goes for other option... he somehow feels guilty of his own words... but still helpless... not clear on his own thoughts how to deal with it... until he got clear about Naina's thoughts about their relation he cannot take a move ahead...

But soon a content smile spread on his lips feeling delighted that Naina hates Sharad... all his doubts get cleared regarding their relation.... he doesn't know their past till now but seeing Naina's anger on Sharad, promised himself that after today he will not let Sharad came close to Naina ever... 

Even Pandit informed him that Sharad has reached hospital and surely won't be able to stand on his feet for next few months with his filthy hands broken which touched Naina to give her pain... 

Also, a strong case has been filed in Police against him for harassment and molestation towards women... they purposely hid Naina's name in the entire case and ensure he will be imprisoned for next few years... even the guard on duty at basement, who helped Sharad was also got arrested and they made him witness for the harassment case...

A deserving punishment for him who played with a women dignity...

Naina reaching her room changed her clothes and went straight to her bed... she has left with no appetite to eat anything feeling dishearten...

Tears welled up uncontrollably as she couldn't stand the hardships, she was facing... she had to endure all these torments for another few months... but how will she supposed to live within that long period? She felt hopeless for her future... seems like her life had come to a dead end... no rays of hope from anywhere...

Sameer came back late night and realize she had already slept... he wants to talk with her, to console her but now must wait till tomorrow... covering her with duvet he left for his bed...

During mid night, his sleep disturbed with faint voices of her sobs... he switched on the lamp and looked at her in same panic attack, like last time... she was mumbling slowly something inaudible to him and shivering badly... he too gets panicked seeing her in this condition realized she might have skipped her medicines as she was not at home from last two nights... she herself is so emotional and surely be disturbed for Preeti and added to that, what all happened with her today, can easily get her back in this condition...

Sameer gets restless, feeling so helpless as unable to help her to come out of this... he consulted with Doctor earlier in hospital, but due to her pregnancy, they cannot prescribe any strong medicine to her... the best possible way is to keep her away from all tensions...

Sameer stretched his hand to pull his wheelchair to gets down from bed so that he can help her... his focus was completely on her... being in panicked with trembling hands, his wheelchair toppled and slipped out from his hand making a loud noise in silent room...

Naina got up from his sleep with a jerk hearing the sound of clatter... she looked around finding the source of sound when looked at Sameer, who was sitting on his bed seeing her with worried look...

She quickly stood from her bed and went to his side when saw his wheelchair lying on floor at some distance... she hurriedly came to his side and keeping his wheelchair back properly asked, "you want to go somewhere..."

He was continuously looking at her pale face and unconsciously hold her hand making her sit next to him on bed without uttering a word... she shocked on his behavior as in evening he was very much annoyed from her and now looks like so concerned for her... but why? what made his so anxious for her?

Due to jerk her sleep was disturbed and she was almost out of her panic attack... she didn't realize herself to be the reason for his condition now...

Seeing him so lost she keep her other hand on his hand to comfort him, "are you alright... can I get something for you?" she asked softly feeling bad for him... she assumes he might need something but can't get by his own... at this moment, she feels like just to be with him, to help him... if possible... if he allows...

Sameer keep staring her with mixed emotions of concern and suddenly said, "you..."

She shocked at his retort and blinked her eyes hard to realize what he said... he continues with same emotions, "can you please stay here with me tonight... it's a request..." his voice was so soft, calm and pleasant to such extent she could not deny his request...

Sameer knew if she again went back to her bed alone, might be get into same situation back but to divert her mind he requested her to stay with him only... this way even he can also help her out somehow, if required...

Naina nodded her head in a confused state of mind, and he gesture her to sleep besides him on same bed... she hesitates that how can they share the same bed when they both are not sharing a normal relation... even he himself doesn't want her to be in this relation with him...

Sameer seeing her still in daze, pulled her hand to come over... placing a pillow besides his, he makes her laid down... while caressing her hair softly, his eyes were completely glued on her...

Naina too lost in his soft touch and warmth which she had never experienced in her life... her own parents never care for her like this even if she was not well... she was totally clueless of his different behavior but didn't feel like to reject him either...

Slowly her eyelids get heavy, she dozed off in few minutes... Sameer too slept seeing her sleeping peacefully with a soft smile on his face... relaxed... no matter what their relation is, he has to take care of her... to let her more comfortable he placed some cushions in between them making a wall... he knows his boundaries and respect her dignity....

Later Sameer realized her unconscious move towards him... she kept her hand on his, clutching tightly... he can feel the warmth of her body... she looks like a fragile tiny doll laid beside him... a sudden urge to make him feel complete, he touched her soft cheeks to realize this is his reality... that she was really here in front of him... so close... his dream girl is now his reality... forever...
