At hospital, during midnight Naina's sleep disturbed feeling uneasy with her nightmares... she was shivering slightly with cold drops of dampness on her forehead... in her semi-conscious state, she could sense somebody else's presence next to her, but at that moment her terrible wound pain took precedence over anything else... she felt someone's hand on her forehead caressing softly to calm her.... feeling warmth of someone's closeness, a soft smile crept on her face and she dozed off again peacefully without any more restlessness...

She stays for next few days in hospital being treated with best medical facilities available... Bela was altogether with her and take care of her like her own daughter... Naina felt a great bonding with her and chatted whole heartedly.... even feel glad that she was with her all the time when she was so restless with her nightmares oblivious of the fact that who was taking care of her actually... Sameer purposely request Bela to not to inform her about his visits at mid night...

Kamya too visits her daily and spend good time together... but Naina's eyes keep searching for someone else... though he daily visit to see her but unfortunately either she was sleeping or spending time with Kamya... he usually left seeing her from outside the window without her knowledge during daytime but ensure to visit her daily late night after she slept peacefully to spend time, seeing her closely...

She gets sad thinking, "he doesn't even come back once to see me... I know he must be busy, and I am no one for him... I should not expect much... why will he waste his precious time to come and spend time with me..."

Naina woke up early morning and after getting freshen up with Bela's help she came out from washroom seeing him sitting there in room... she was not expecting him to be here in early hours but a soft smile crept on her face seeing him after two days...

Sameer co-incidentally didn't get time to visit her last night so decided to meet her before going office... Sameer looked at her and relaxed seeing her much better now... Bela helped her to sit back on bed and left out from the ward giving them privacy....

Naina feeling shy didn't get courage to looked at him when he turned to her, "I asked doctor and he is ready to discharge you today... get ready in evening... I will come to pick you up..." he said in his usual tone and left out from room...

He was informed by Bela that Naina doesn't like to stay back in hospital and feeling very restless... he assured Doctor to take good care of her at home and took permission for discharge before time...

Sameer met with Bela outside and discussed with her about her health and progress when Pandit went inside to see Naina...

She smiled seeing him, "mujhe aapko thanks kehna tha... mujhe pata chala aapne mujhe blood donate kiya tha..."

He came close to her keeping his hand on her head, "ab toh hum donon mein ek hi khoon hai toh bhala ek behen apne bhai ko thanks kaise bol sakti hai..." he said with a wide smile on his face...

Naina asked hesitantly, "did you get the details of who attacked on him... I mean is it still danger for him..." she was still scared knowing how Sameer tighten the security in hospital around her... but what about him? as far as she was aware the attack was on Sameer... is he safe now?

Pandit smiled seeing her concern for him, patted his head, "you don't get worry about all these things... we are here to handle it... you just take care of yourself... till the time I am here, no one can harm you both... but sorry uss din agar mujhe tumhara dhyaan rehta toh tumhein yun chot nahin lagati... I was totally unaware ki tum car se baahar aa jaaogi..." his eyes got brimmed recalling how she was badly hurt...

Naina smiled to comfort him, "ismein aapki koi galti nahin... bas mein darr gayi thi toh kuchh soch hi nahin paayi aur yeh sab.... but I am fine now, so no need to worry..."

Pandit smiled realizing how much selfless she is... even after having a tough relation with Sameer, she is still concerned about him and his safety... he caressed her head lovingly, "apna dhyaan rakhna.. aur koi bhi baat ho toh don't forget tumhara bhai hai tumhare saath.. okay..."

Naina too feels overwhelmed with his concern and gesture... she smiled mouthed thanks to him when heard a familiar loud rough voice, "are you coming with me or busy with your new sister..."

They both turned to see him at the door glaring them... Pandit take a deep sigh giving a look, "iska kuchh nahin ho sakta..." he left blessing her again, "take care..."

Sameer murmured glaring him, "seems you are very busy in making relations now days..."

Pandit replied slowly to tease him, "of course, at least I am trying... not like you jo raat mein ek baar sirf dekhne ke liye roj aata ho... kal saari raat sone nahin diya ki hospital jaana hai aur ab yahaan bhi rukna nahin hai... I am failed to understand you... hopeless..." ignoring his deathly glares, he makes weird faces to irritate him more... soon they left for office...

Sameer ignoring his rants smiled thinking, "bas ek baar dekh liya itna hi kaafi hai mere liye... kal se mil nahin paaya tha toh raat mein neend kaise aati... bas aaj ek din aur phir ek minute bhi ghar mein apni najaron ke saamne se dur nahin jaane dunga... meri wajah se itni takleef mein hai, kaash mein kuchh kar paata..." he felt sad seeing her in pain because of him...

Naina gets happy to get an elder brother who is genuinely concerned for her, "hamesha se ek bhai ki kami lagti thi... aaj voh bhi poori ho gayi... aur subah ki shuruaat unse milkar huyi hai... maana baat nahin ki par milne aaye, itna hi bohot hai..." she was happy with the news that today she got discharged and will be back at home...

Kamya called her and she informed about her discharge... Kamya came to visit her and they both spend whole day chatting and having fun with Bela...

In evening, Naina asked Kamya to leave otherwise soon it will be dark outside but she prefers to remain with her, "kitne dinon baad yun tere saath time spend karne ko mila hai... thodi der mein chali jaaungi na... aaj toh tu bhi discharge ho rahi hai... aur isi bahane Sameer se bhi milna ho jayega... lagta hai uss din ke baad se tujhse milne nahin aaye kya... itna bhi kya busy hona... he should understand his responsibility..." she asked purposely as didn't get chance to meet him after that day...

Naina feel awkward to tell that he just came once to meet her after that day but feels uncomfortable hearing bad about him...

Before she replied Bela intervene replying to Kamya politely, "beta abhi tum nahin samjhogi.... Yeh husband wife ka rishta hai aur unke beech ki baat hai... mujhe nahin lagta kisi aur ko iske beech mein bolna chahiye... aur rahi baat jimmedari samajhne ki toh Sameer aur Naina donon bohot jimmedaar hai aur ek dusre ko samajhte bhi hai... har rishta ek waqt ke saath badta hai aur nikharta bhi hai... Sameer ki aankhon mein Naina ke liye chinta, uski parwaah dekhi hai maine aur Naina ki aankhon mein Sameer ka intzaar bhi... jahaan ek dusre ke liye care, concern, tadap ho uss rishtey mein kabhi duri nahin aa sakti..."

She said caressing Naina's head lovingly, "mein samajhti hoon har kisi ki life mein thodi bohot mushkilen hoti hain, par mujhe vishwas hai tumhari samajhdari aur Sameer ki imaandari par... tum donon yeh rishta bohot achchhe se sambhaloge... hai na..."

Bela pulled her in a soft hug caressing her back giving her assurance that everything will be fine... though Naina never told her about their problems but she can see her pain in her eyes...

Naina gets confused hearing that why always Bela feel that Sameer is concerned about her... how did Bela easily read her face, her mind that she is craving for Sameer... if she can feel than why not Sameer...

Naina changed into her normal wear and waited for him to come eagerly... Kamya was all lost hearing Bela and looked at Naina surprisingly... is she starts loving him when she has already signed on divorce papers... is it good for her to start keeping expectations from Sameer..?

Kamya was chatting continuously but after every passing minute, Naina's eye turning towards door, waiting for him... soon they heard Doctor coming inside followed by Sameer and Pandit... Kamya greet him with a smile whereas his focus was completely on Naina and Doctor's advice... getting irritated feeling on his weird and rude behavior she made faces and looked at Naina, who was also lost in seeing him only... it seems her presence doesn't matter for Naina and Sameer, both makes her frustrated...

After discussing with Doctor, they all planned to leave... Bela and Kamya support Naina to walk till car being still feeling weak and her right hand was wrapped with armrest to support and heal her injury soon...

Settling Naina inside the car, Kamya was about to sit next to her when Sameer said loudly to his guards, "ensure Ms Parekh reach home safely... its already dark outside..."

Kamya feels bit embarrassed and insulting on his rude attitude but smiled to Naina, "you take care... will meet later..." unwillingly she left her and turned to Sameer, replied politely, "thanks Mr Maheshwari... I have my car... I will drive by my own..." saying this she left with two guards following her in another car for her safety...

Sameer sits next to her and headed to their home... Naina was still lost and hesitate to sit with him so closely... Bela's words keep ringing in her mind making her more confused... she looked outside whereas he was keep looking at her from corner of his eyes, ensuring she should be comfortable and safe... he took the risk of her getting discharged early just for her wish only... but now was getting more tensed what if she didn't get recover soon... he can't see her in pain anymore...

Their chain of thoughts break with a sudden brake applied by Pandit... Naina was lost in seeing outside and was about to get hit by door side but Sameer was quick enough to pulled her over to himself... she looked up seeing herself wrapped in his embrace safely... she was almost half lying in his arms... coming back in sense she shifts slightly and sits back at her usual place looking down when Sameer shouts on Pandit, "can't you drive carefully... be slow..."

Reaching home, Bela helps her to come out and took her towards their room... Naina realized what if Bela see her sleeping outside in balcony?... she is a motherly figure for Sameer and expecting them to have a normal relation... on Sameer's request Bela agreed to stay there for few days and took good care of Naina... he had observed how much Naina is comfortable with her...

Naina doesn't want Bela to suspicious on their relation... she asked hesitantly, "auntie, I am fine... aap please guest room mein rest kar lijiye... aap bhi thak gayi hongi na... I will manage by my own..."

Bela smiled feeling that she might need some lone time to spend with him, left her till door saying, "call me if you need any help..." she nodded and entered to her room...

Going inside she went to freshen up... coming out feeling tired and sleepy she moved to balcony when heard his stern voice calling her, "where are you going... is this the time to go for walk in this condition ?"

She turned to see him entering room alone... she stops there when he comes close to her... he shut the sliding door of balcony and pulled the curtain blinds down... turning to her he said annoyingly, "can't you see your bed... are you blind or dumb?"

She hesitates when he said roughly, "didn't doctor told you to rest properly or do you want me to admit you back in hospital..." she looked him confusingly as he himself told her to sleep outside... so what's this change now... is it just she is injured or something change in their equation....

Seeing her still standing all lost, he glared her and gesture towards the single bed placed there for her comfort, "can you please do the honor and obliged this bed to sleep on it.." he said sarcastically seeing her still not moving and behaving adamantly...

Seeing him back in anger mood, she has no energy to argue and quietly moved towards the bed... she went and lied down on her single bed with her back facing towards him... he looked at her and sighed heavily getting relaxed with a soft smile... finally she accept his first gift for her...

He went near her bed and called her, "have you taken your medicine..?" she realized her folly and sits back immediately facing his angry glares... he didn't utter anything and forward a glass with tablets in his other hand... she silently gulped all one by one making weird faces and laid down again keeping her eyes closed... soon drift into sleep peacefully....

Seeing her in deep sleep he covered her with a soft duvet making her sleep cozily...

Pandit barge into room to help him out before bed... he opened the closet making sound when Sameer shouts on him with a low voice, "can't you do any work without making so much noise...?"

Pandit scratch his head not getting meaning of his words but soon realized following the path of his gaze... he smiled widely and wink to him, "sorry..."

He chuckled slowly, "so... mission accomplished... congrats bro" he winked to him seeing her sleeping on her bed...

Sameer smiled softly, "hmm... par bohot ziddi hai.. aaraam se nahin maan rahi thi toh thoda daantana pada... but finally its done..." he smiled widely on his achievement...

Pandit glared him giving an impossible look said, "duniya ka pehla aashiq hoga jisne apni biwi ko pehla tohfa bhi daant kar diya hai... dhanya ho prabhu tum... bechari meri behen, kahaan phans gayi..."

Sameer muttered, "shut up... accept toh kiya na... itna kaafi hai mere liye... aur tu apna dimaag apne paas rakh... tujhse toh ek kaam nahin hua aur mujhe gyan dene aa gaya... useless..." they both teased each other and finally smiled...

Soon pandit left room switching off the light as Sameer has habit to sleep in complete dark room... he doesn't even prefer to keep night lamp on...

During mid night he heard some noises, disturbing his sleep... someone was breathing heavily... he switched on the side lamp and looked around sitting back... he shocked to see her shivering badly in deep sleep... he assume she might have seen a bad dream... she was restless and uttering something inaudible to him... he waited few minutes for her to get calmed but it didn't happen.. she was getting more and more restless with passing time...

Sameer called her slowly but seems she need help, he has left with no option to go near her... it was around midnight and didn't feel like to call Pandit also... extended his hand, he pulled his wheelchair close to bed...

Sameer rolled over on his bed and slowly used his hands to drop his legs down the bed... he pulled his chair close to him and used his upper arm muscles to push off the bed and onto the chair...

Adjusting himself, he rolled hurriedly to her bed side and saw her in almost miserable condition... she was shivering badly with tiny beads of sweats all over her face, neck, and forehead.... tears were rolling out from corner of her eyes... seems like she was in severe panic attack...

She muttered coherently, "ple..please... goli.. goli...mat chalaao.. please..." he recalled how he himself saw her in panic state earlier also in hospital when he usually went to meet her during mid night, which she was not even aware... but this time it was much worse than earlier...

Bela also informed that she was getting such nightmares frequently in hospital also... obviously, being attacked and all gun shots was not easy for her to handle...

But he didn't know that Naina was frequently getting such panic attacks since her childhood whenever her parents punished her leaving in dark room alone... but no one was aware of it except her parents and best friend... even once Kamya forcedly took her to consult a Doctor who suggested to not to go in dark alone and to avoid it more he suggest her to listen soft meditated music before sleep... from that day she has the habit of listening music before sleep keeping earplug to avoid any other sound around whole night... she even has habit to keep lights on while sleeping to avoid darkness...

Sameer gets tensed seeing her like this but compose himself as he has to deal with it... he wiped out her face and caressed her head talking sweetly... she keep uttering as her voice quivered, "bohot... bohot andhera hai... mujhe darr lag raha hai... please help..."

He feels strange and surprised as room was already lit with dim lights, but her body evidently shivered... seeing no effect, he leaned slightly on her and slowly pulled her in his embrace holding from shoulder softly ensuring not to hurt her wound...

He keep her in his embrace caressing her back to calm her for quiet long time... he keep whispering softly sweet words making her comfort, assuring his presence that she is not alone... his closeness and soothing words gave her a sort of calmness and peace to her heart and mind... soon he gets relieved feeling her even breath... parted slightly he placed her head back on pillow and moved up but feels her strong grip on his arm... she was tightly holding his one hand getting scared in her nightmare...

He remains seated there to avoid disturbing her sleep holding her hand in his... thinking she might get disturbed again, he chose to stay close to her only... soon he too slept keeping his head on her pillow close to her...

Early morning as usual Pandit entered in their room and surprised to find him missing from his bed... in normally he either sleeping or sitting at his bed only waiting for him at this time...

Pandit roamed around his eyes and found him sleeping while sitting on his chair only next to her bed, clutching her hand gently in his... he smiled and prefer to let them remain in their own world... he turned to leave when heard him, "don't you ever feel like to knock before entering into room... why are you so mannerless?"

Pandit chuckled seeing his irritated face saying , "sorry bro... I didn't realize you also shifted to her bed now... next time I will not spoil your privacy... promise... but I must say now you should keep you room lock from inside rather than blaming me... I am also not interested to see your lovey dovey moments... meri toh abhi tak girlfriend bhi nahin hai... huh..." he make faces more to tease him getting a deathly glare back from him...

Sameer moved to his side after covering her completely with duvet... soon without making any noise they both left out from room to get ready in study, which is always be his second room and he has all the required essentials available there...

Sameer was lost in his thoughts recalling her last night panic attacks... he realized it's not only because of her attack... there might be something more about which he was not aware...

Pandit asked when he replied with blank expression, "get all her details... I want to know everything about her... her complete past..."

Pandit asked bit hesitated, "par ab kyun... I mean you two are already married... what does that make any difference now... is anything happened which is bothering you..."

Sameer looked at him confusingly, "I don't know yaar... I mean I feel strongly that there is something which we don't know... its related to her past... try to find out each and every detail about her... I think jo dikh raha hai vaise hai nahin... and surely she is not comfortable to share with me right now... but I want to know everything about her...." he feels tensed thinking about her last night behavior and frequent panic attacks which can cause her into a big trouble... he cannot let her suffer like this anymore... she needs help and he is willing to support her at each step...
