Naina after half an hour went inside getting his mug of coffee as per his daily routine... she placed the mug on his table in front of him and stood there... he looked at her keenly but frowned more seeing her expressionless face... he expected her to fight for herself, leave him and gone away from his life but her adamancy to stay in this relation and silence is killing him more... she bear all his non-sense allegations and never shouted back on him... but why????

Sameer keep his gaze remain on screen when she asked softly, "Sir, is it okay or should I get another one..." he replied in dry voice without taking even a sip, not bother to look at her, "get another one..." soon the same event happen like yesterday... she prepared almost 10 mugs of coffee but he keep rejecting all one by one finding her faults without even tasting it... she didn't complaint knowing this is his way to humiliate her, insult her...

Lastly she got the mug getting fully tired, seeing him sitting close to window looking outside... she placed the mug on his table and turned to go out when he called her loudly, "stop..."

She halt in between and turned to his side... Sameer rolled his wheelchair in front of her coming close... he glared her sharply and asked in stern tone, "what are you trying to prove..." she looked at him with surprised expression as didn't get meaning of his words...

Naina was in no mood and left with no energy to listen his humiliation anymore... to avoid any more embarrassment she asked slowly, "Sir, can I go if there is no more work for me... I have..."

Sameer grabbed her slender wrist and pulled her downwards with a fiery look before she complete her words... she gets so scared that tears welled up in her eyes instantly...

Suddenly he pulled her into his arms... resulting her fallen straight into his lap... accidentally she keep her hand to hold his strong muscular chest to save her... she was looking at him in daze as their faces were an inch apart only... she realized he had a pair of beautiful eyes, looking dark... he indeed a handsome man despite of his disability... anyone can fall in love with this handsome face...

Naina keep staring him lost in her thoughts whereas Sameer was already leaning towards her face... his warm breath stroked her ears and neck, causing her to tremble a little... he leaned slowly approaching her face and kissed on her lips... Naina got stunned... she regained her senses and tried to push him away... but failed to get out of his strong grip... Sameer deepen the kiss more harder... she frowned and keep pushing him but failed miserably... he didn't give her a chance to rest....

No one had ever come so close to her till now... her whole body went weak after being kissed for a long time as she wasn't able to even breathe... he left her seeing her in daze... she was panting heavily...

He parted glaring her asked, "seems you had never kissed anyone before..." she looked him amazingly when he mocked, "is this the reason your husband divorced you... do you even know what marriage is meant about..." hearing this she came back in her senses and stood with a jerk from his lap...

Naina looked him angrily shouts, "what the hell you think of yourself... you only said that you hate me, doesn't even want to see my face, then what was that Mr Maheshwari..?" this was the first time when she completely lose her temper and shouted back on him...

Sameer smiled mockingly, "I am your husband... correct? so what's wrong in kissing to my legally wedded beautiful wife... you only want to continue this marriage so let's go for it... what's stopping you now...?"

Her eyes turned red and voice trembled in anger... "am I some kind of toy for you? jab chaaha paas bulaya jab chaaha dur kar diya... I am also a human, jise dard bhi hota hai aur takeleef bhi... par shayad aap yeh kabhi nahin samjhenge Mr Maheshwari... iske liye insaan ke paas ek dil hona chahiye jo aapke paas nahin..." saying this she turned and left out from cabin...

She knew he was doing all this to just humiliate her more... she didn't expect him to be so mean and rude when he himself restricted her to not to come close to him... she calmed herself down as doesn't want any outsider to see her in this state and walked out wiping her tears...

She came back on her seat realizing what all had happen few minutes back... in her entire life she has not experience such humiliation and insult ever... she believe in marriage and ready to take this relation ahead but only with love, understanding and affection.... but what she experienced was pathetic... her first kiss was ruined in his anger....

Sameer was too shocked on his own behavior... yes, he wants to humiliate her, insult her so that she herself walked out from his life... but on other side he was concerned about her health seeing her struggling since last night... he was upset with her but unexpectedly he attracted towards her seeing her so close... she is beautiful, charming... soft like a fragile doll... any one can fall into her simple but breath taking beauty... then why her ex-husband left her that too just after 6 months of their marriage..?

Sameer was never be interested in any girl even though he was the most handsome boy in his entire college... girls drooled over him but he hardly paid any attention to anyone... and after his accident he restricted himself more, not allowing anyone to come near him... Naina was the only girl who attract his attention in first glimpse... even after three years he is still in spell of her innocent beautiful face...

He himself was shocked on his reaction that how he lose himself seeing her so close.. it was his first time also that he kissed someone... thinking that his hand automatically moved on his lips with a smirk left on his face thinking, "aaj pehli baar voh mere itne kareeb thi... pehli baar kisi ke itne kareeb aaya hoon mein... kyun na chahte huye bhi voh mere dil ke har kone mein basti jaa rahi hai... nahin rah sakta mein aur usake bina... ab aur uski aankhon mein aansun nahin bardasht hote mujhse...

Maana hum shayad zindagi bhar saath na bhi rah sake par mein ab aur usey dukh nahin de sakta... uski aankhon mein kitni masumiyat hai jise mein aur nazar andaaj nahin kar sakta.. ab mujhe usase baat karni hi hogi... agar voh iss rishtey se dur jaana chahegi toh mein khud usey apne se dur bhej dunga... par usey yun aur dard nahin de sakta mein... shayad pyaar na bhi kare par kam se kam nafarat toh nahin karegi mujhse... mere liye uski yaadein hi bohot hai zindagi gujarne ke liye..." he finally decided to talk with her and sort out their jumbled relation... can't see her suffering any more... he will accept whatever be her decision and ready to support her settling in her life without him....

After their sudden proximity Naina didn't went into his cabin any more... she managed to handle work alone sending files through Pandit... even Sameer also didn't take any initiative to call her in his cabin and insult her for anything... he already made up his mind to talk with her in evening at home and another reason was that her work was so perfect.. no one can easily find any mistake which impressed him even more... Pandit was quite amazed seeing the deadly silence between two of them... but was totally clueless...

During lunch break, feeling hungry she went down to canteen... all employees are supposed to have their lunch at canteen only... she took her lunch and sits on a corner table all alone as she was not familiar with anyone there...

Soon a group of ladies came and sits next to her table looking her surprisingly...

One lady points towards Naina, "hey, have you seen her... she is the new assistant of our CEO... you know its first time that he has appointed a girl for him..." they all looked at her with a different look...

Another lady, "what's so special in her yaar... looks mein toh kitni local si hai... na koi dressing sense na hi style hai... humein toh kabhi milne ka mauka bhi nahin mila CEO se... suna hai he is so dashing and handsome..." she said feeling jealous as they are not even allowed to go on his floor to see him...

Another girl, "seriously yaar... kitna socha tha ek baar agar mujhe mauka mile toh mein ek minute mein impress kar lungi... I joined few months back only but never get chance to even see him... he is so strange na..." she said in a sad tone with her so many failed attempts to meet him...

Another lady, "koi chance nahin... voh kisi ko apne aas paas bhi nahin aane deta... and anyways he is totally useless for this thing... of course having such disability, he can't do anything... so what's the use..? ... might be this is the reason for his rudeness..." all laughed together making fun...

Another girl, "isiliye pehli baar ek ladki assistant rakhi voh bhi itani local behenji types... agar pleasure hi chahiye tha toh kisi hot chick ko rakhna chahiye tha na.. par nahin unhein toh sirf kaam se matlab hai..."

Same girl, "but still yaar, he is so rich... kya farq padta hai agar bank mein billions ho toh... pleasure toh kahin se bhi mil jaata hai... agar mujhe mauka mile toh mein kabhi na chhodu..." she hi-fi with the lady sitting next to her laughing loudly...

Naina pissed off listening their stupid talks feeling a sense of sympathy in her heart... she banged her hand on table and stood looking them fiercely... all ladies stopped laughing instantly seeing her...

She went close to their table glaring them, "agar kisi ki respect nahin kar sakte toh kisi ki majboori ka majaak bhi nahin udaana chahiye... don't forget he alone is running this entire company and you all are getting salary from him only... if still you want to joke than firstly reach to his level... aur haan agar himmat hai toh saamne se bolo... face to face..." they all looked at her shockingly...

She turned and left the canteen without looking back... one of the girls said, "isey kyun itna gussa aa raha hai... isey kya lagta hai ki assistant hai toh iske chances hai... attitude toh dekho... badi aayi humein dhamki dene wali... huh..." they focused their concentration back on gossiping about others...

In evening completing her work in hand to avoid meeting him she hurriedly left office... though with medicine effect she feels slightly better but still very weak...

Reaching to clinic, she collect her reports from the counter and met with Doctor to consult...

Doctor after reading her report, diagnose her again and asked, "Naina, you are married... correct.." she nodded her head confusingly as what her marriage is related to her stomach infection...

Doctor said, "well I think your husband should come with you for check-up... he should take care of you well... you are very weak and needs lots of care..."

She smiled weakly thinking about her husband but said calmly, "Doctor he is very busy in office... you can tell me... I can take care of myself well... hope it's nothing serious..." she asked getting concerned...

Doctor smiled, "well, not exactly.. but congrats... you are pregnant... but you have to take good care of yourself as you are very week... and seems you are not even eating properly now days... ab yeh dieting nahin chalegi..." she said with a genuine smile...

Naina shouted suddenly, "what...? no Doctor.. this.. this cannot be possible... there must be some error in report... aap ... aap dobara test karwaiye... I am sure yeh kisi aur ki reports hai... it can't be mine... I am sure about it... this cannot be possible at all..." she fumbled on her words as this was beyond her wildest imagination...

Doctor looked her surprisingly, "no, I am sure its correct... mujhe toh subah hi doubt tha but I was waiting for your reports only to come... and why are you so surprised... I know you are at a very young age but it's okay... it happens ... protection failed sometimes..."

Naina shocked on her revelation that how can she be pregnant when she never ever had any such physical relation with anyone in her life...

Sharad has note ever touched her as he wants to prove her characterless and was already engaged with his girlfriend... and with Sameer... no ways... this cannot be true...

She snatch the reports from Doctor's hand angrily and said, "sorry... I don't believe in your diagnosis... better I get myself checked with some more qualified doctor... this cannot be possible... I am sure it's just a normal stomach infection only..."

She stood to go when Doctor stops her... she was a middle-aged experienced lady and assume her dilemma as might be at such a young age she doesn't want to take this responsibility...

Doctor came to her side and make her sit back on chair... she hold her hand and said politely, "look beta... you are somehow at age of my daughter and I can understand that you are nervous being first time, but believe me, it's true... don't get panic it's not good for your health... and if you want you can do the pregnancy test right now... you can see the result by yourself..." she extended a pregnancy test strip to her and gesture to go in washroom attached to her room...

Naina stood adamantly and went inside as she knew the result will be negative... in few minutes time she collapsed on floor seeing the result positive... shock was the understatement for her... the most cruel joke of the life...

Coming out from washroom, she picked up the reports and left immediately even Doctor tried a lot to stop her... Doctor keep calling her from back as she had diagnosed some issues in her reports and wanted to inform her... but she didn't turned back ,..

Doctor take a deep sigh thinking, "aaj kal ke bachche koi responsibility lena hi nahin chahte... kam se kam meri baat toh sun leti... I know she might be in shock but she has some complications even if she tried to go for abortion... chances are there that she can never conceive again... hope she will read the reports and prescription thoroughly and should not take any decision in rush... I will surely explain her tomorrow once she will visit..."

Doctor words keep ringing in Naina's ear... this seems the worst dream she ever had... but unfortunately it's true... but how... how this can be even possible... what will she answer to all...

She reached home and relieved seeing Sameer has not yet come... the moment she entered Chinni came running to her, "Bhabhi aap aa gaye... mein kab se aapka wait kar rahi thi... jab se aap office jaane lage ho mein aapse mil hi nahin paayi..."

Naina didn't paid any attention and left for her room followed by her... going inside she kept her bag and file on table all lost and sit on chair keeping her head in her hands as it was paining badly...

Chinni jerked her offering water, "aap itna pareshaan kyun ho... aapki tabiyat theek hai na..." Naina coming back to senses nodded her head and left in washroom to get freshen up...

Naina came out seeing Chinni waited for her... she hold her hand and dragged her outside to show her something, "chaliye mujhe aapko kuchh dikhana hai... aap itne khush ho jaaoge ki saari tension chhu mantar ho jaayegi..." she was excited to show her what Naina was looking for...

Naina followed her silently.. for some time, she wants to keep herself busy to not to think much about this new mess in her life... she herself is totally clueless as all her thinking power failed...

Chinni bring her at back side of the house where a small temple was placed, exactly at back side of her room's window... it seems to be closed for so long.. no one has even lit the diya in front of idol...

Chinni said excitedly, "bhabhi aapne puchha tha na ki yahaan mandir kahaan hai... ab aap jab chaahe yahaan aa sakti ho... ghar mein se koi iss taraf nahin aata... maine kabhi kisi ko yahaan pooja karte nahin dekha aaj tak... yeh mandir kai saalon se aise hi bandh hai, aap chaho toh hum yahaan roj aa sakte hai..."

Naina surprised to see that no one worship in the temple which is placed inside the mansion itself... she instantly forgot all her tensions... she opened the door and smiled seeing the idol placed inside the temple...

She herself is a big devotee of lord Krishna and feels delighted to see his idol placed inside... together they quickly clean the whole place... Chinni bring the essential things required to lit the diya... Chinni left soon but Naina stays back all alone to spend some more time there... after so many days she got some peace in her mind and heart...

Naina POV

Jab se shaadi huyi hai aaj pehli baar iss ghar ke kisi kone mein mujhe shaanti mili hai... kahne ko yeh ek mahal hai aur log sochte honge ki maine bhi kya kismat paayi hai... sab meri kismat par naaz karte honge ... par kya sach mein meri kismat itani achchhi hai... ya yun kahiye ki isase bura mere saath kuchh ho hi nahin sakta tha... yeh shaadi jiske baare mein mujhe kuchh pata bhi nahin tha aaj mera sach ban gayi... lekin mein chah kar bhi isey nahin nibha paa rahi... roj ek naya toofan mere intzaar mein hota hai...

Jitna bhi mushkilon se nikalne ka sochti hun utna hi aur daldal mein phansti jaa rahi hun... pehle hi Sameerji aur mere beech itani duriyaan, itani galatfahmiyaan thi... koi raasta nazar nahin aa raha tha ki kaise sab theek karun aur ab yeh achanak se... jab mujhe khud kuchh nahin pata toh kisi aur ko kaise samjhaungi ki ismein meri koi galti nahin... kya kahun, kisase kahun... kuchh samajh nahin aa raha... yeh kaisi uljhan hai, jiska koi hal nahin...

Though she doesn't have any answers for her own anxiety but still feels bit relaxed after spending some time alone, talking with Kanhaji... she gets so tired thinking what all happened with her from last few days making her more sick... there is no one with whom she can share her problem and can cry keeping her head on someone's shoulder...

Naina came back in her room seeing all dark around... she entered and shocked to see Sameer already in room... she stops in between but realized it's his room and he can come at any time... she lowered her head avoiding his gaze and moved towards balcony when he stops her calling loudly, "stop..."

She closed her eyes to keep herself calm as might be he must have found some new reason to humiliate her... she turned but seeing him her face turned pale... he was holding her medical report in his hand giving her deathly glare... she realized while Chinni drag her outside to show temple she left the report lying at table itself...

Sameer threw the report holding in his hand on Naina's face and stared her ferociously... he shouts, "is this the reason for you to get married with me... what do you think about yourself before cheating on me... how could you even think that I will accept your ex-husband's child... how easily you trick to find a father for your child..."

Naina shivered due to his loud voice... she replied in a panic tone, "no... no it's really not like that... I was also even not aware of this... even I didn't want to hide from you... please listen to me once..."

Sameer pulled her towards him holding her arm harshly and held her chin with other hand, "I don't want to listen anything... I was fool to starts believing on you... mujhe laga shayad maine tumhein galat samjha... par nahin tumne saabit kar diya ki dhokha tumhari fitrat mein hai... I can't believe ki itane masoom chehre ke saath koi itna bada dhokha bhi de sakta hai... but it's enough now... how dare you even think to give my name to your child... what do you think ki mein pighal jaaunga aur tumhein iss bachche ke saath apna lunga... no ways..." he pushed her back making her stumbled back few feet away from him....

He turned to leave the room but stops seeing her in anger, "I am giving you just one day... either this marriage or this kid... choice is yours... if you still want to be in this marriage then you have to get rid of this child.... varna tumhein ghar se dhakke maar ke nikalane mein mujhe ek minute bhi nahin lagega... and I mean it this time... samajhi tum..." he immediately moved out giving her a disgusting look...
