Sameer after hearing all about Karthik from Naina knew that accepting his relationship with Karthik is never going to be so easy for him as since his childhood he has a silent hatred for him... but on the contrary they both had never get into any argument on any matter... in fact Karthik always seen supporting Sameer's decision, even in front of Vishakha... and the way Naina explained him, he had seen a ray of hope in his relations with him in future...

They both remain seated there for quite some time lost in their own thoughts... Naina was missing her own family who almost broke all their relations with her after their marriage without any fault of her... she even didn't know the reason for their rudeness towards her... even Sameer also never asked her anything about her family... now days they are in good terms and talk freely but he never took any interest in her past life, never asked her anything... sometimes seems strange but she shrugged off her thoughts as it might be the reason that he is not much bothered when it's destined for them to be apart soon...

Sameer seeing time realize how late it is, "I think we should rest now... you must be tired..." Naina nodded as now days she felt sleepier and gets tired soon...

Coming inside she realize Sameer is still in his office wears... they never had such situation earlier as Pandit was always there with him to help... she felt nervous asking him to do his help but seeing no other option she asked hesitantly, "voh... I mean... aap... mein aapki kuchh help kar du... matlab..." she said lowering her eyes down feeling shy and embarrassed... she remembered once he asked her to help him, but she failed miserably ended up another fight between them... though their relation is changed but she is still not sure if she can do this and asked without giving much thought ahead....

Sameer smirk seeing her so nervous... he holds her hand making her sit in front of him... lifting her face in his palms he asked looking into her eyes naughtily, "you want to help me... can you do it... really..." he said in a teasing tone to make her more nervous...

She didn't get courage even to look at him back... though now days they are comfortable, spending most of the time with each other, but still more as a friend... she never thought to take their relation a step ahead knowing she must have to leave him very soon... but for him he wants to take their relation ahead but slowly... step by step as per her wish... doesn't want to force her for anything...

He still remembered the way he treated her in initial days, but his motive was just only to let her go away from him... but now the situation is different, and he determined to make her enough comfortable with him that she will never think to go away from him... knowing her shy and reserve nature, he wants to give her enough time to cope up with changes and accept with heart...

Naina nervously fumbled on her words, "I... I.. don't know how... but .. ya... I.. I will try...I mean.." she stops hearing him laughing loudly... she looked him strangely what finds him so funny to make fun of her... she was feeling extremely nervous extending her help knowing how much difficult is for her to help him in this way and here he is laughing on her nervousness...

Sameer holding his laughter said, "why are you so nervous... shakal dekho, kaise paseene chhut rahe hai tumhare..." he laughed again showing her tiny drops of sweats on her forehead in his finger...

She felt more embarrassed looking down when he softly cupped her face in his palms making her look straight, "Naina, you don't have to do all this... don't worry I can manage all alone... mein itna bhi kamjor nahin..."

She looked strangely when he said further, "you might be not aware, but I was always be a very sporty person... before my accident I was a Martial arts practitioner for so many years... agar family business handle karne ka pressure nahin hota toh mein isi field mein kuchh karta but I was not having choice..."

Taking a deep sigh, "I know it seems difficult for you to accept that how can I manage everything by my own but it's true... in last three years I learnt to handled things by my own mostly... I know I can't walk or stand on my feet, but I am not much dependent on others, at least not for my daily routine work..." she was surprised as she had seen Pandit always around him...

He cleared her thoughts seeing her surprised look, "well you can say that my ability is stronger than my disability... so, don't be so much surprised... aur kehte hai na waqt aur jarurat insaan ko sab sikha deta hai... kisi par depend hone se better maine khud par bharosa kiya and now here I am..."

She looked at him with wide eyes surprisingly... he continued with a smile, "you might have not noticed earlier but Pandit hamesha mere saath rehta hai par mein apne mostly kaam khud hi karta hoon... without even his help... he is my friend not my assistant and same as you... you are my wife not my helper... so don't worry about me... I will manage... vaise bhi yeh room aur yahaan ki har cheej mere comfort aur sahuliyat ke hisaab se hi bani hai so that I can handle myself without much of support..."

She smiled with a comfort, realizing how much independent he is and having confidence on himself... in his condition mostly people are reliant on others, but he is not... not personally, not professionally...

Sameer rolled his wheelchair towards his walk-in closet but stops in between, "can you please picked up a night suit for me to change... I really like when you select my clothes to wear..." she smiled and accompanied him...

Picking up his night suit, she handed him saying with her cute smile, "I know you don't need any help, but I am still there for you... don't forget..." she left without looking back at him...

Sameer smiled keeping his night suit close to his heart, "how can I be so lucky to have her in my life... aaj phir ek baar bin kahe mere dil ki baat samajh kar isne mera saath diya... she is so selfless, so caring... aaj Preeti Pandit ko saath dekhkar laga kahin iss rishtey ko nibhane mein mujhse koi kami toh nahin rah jaayegi... iske sapne poore kar bhi sakunga ya nahin... par jis tarah se yeh mere dil ki har baat samajhti hai lagta hai jaise do nahin hum ek hi ho... koi kami nahin lagti... I wish mein iske saare sapne poore kar paaun... darr lagta hai kabhi meri kisi baat se iska dil na toote... kabhi iski aankh mein aansu na aane paaye... isey har dard, har takleef se bacha sakun... saari khushiyaan de sakun..."

He kissed the dress in hand, "ek waqt tha jab tum mere aas paas hone ke ehsaas se bhi darrti thi aur aaj apne comfort ko bhool kar itni nervous hone ke baad bhi jis tarah tumne mujhe help offer ki, I am really touched... lagta hai hamare pyaar ki manzil ab dur nahin... hamesha se chahta tha ki tum iss rishtey ko bina kisi majboori ke apnaao aur aaj tumhein apne saath itna comfortable dekh kar ehsaas hota hai ki shayad mein tumhare dil mein apne liye jagah banane mein kayaab ho hi gaya... love you jaan and thank you so much to come in my life... I promise mein tumhein kabhi apne se dur nahin jaane dunga..."

Naina coming out sits on couch thinking, "ek waqt tha jab unki najaron mein apne liye itni nafarat dekh kar himmat nahin hoti thi ki unse najarein bhi mila sakun... hamari shaadi ki buniyaad ek jhuth thi aur mein kabhi nahin bata saki ki mere apne parents ne yeh dhokha diya tha... lekin aape saath, aapke mujh par vishwas ne sab badal diya... ab koi jhuth koi dabaav nahin iss rishtey ka... aaj jo yeh pal humne saath bitaye yeh hamara sach hai... kabhi nahin socha tha ki ek din itne najdeek aa jayenge ki koi hichkichahat, koi duri nahin hogi hamare beech...

Aaj toh ek naya hi roop nazar aaya Sameerji ka... pehli baar ehsaas hua ki shayad mein unke dil mein apne lijye jagah bana paayi hoon... kitni aasani se aaj unhone apne dil ka dard, apni dosti, apni zindagi ke beete palon ko share kiya mere saath, jaise hum donon mein koi duriyaan na bachi ho...

Pandit aur Preeti ko ek saath dekh kar shayad inhein apna pyaar yaad aa gaya hoga... isiliye dil itna udaas tha... samajh sakti hoon ki apne pyaar se dur rehna kitna mushkil hota hai... kuchh dinon mein mujhe bhi isi dard ko sehna hai... par mein khush hoon jo yeh khubsurat pal mujhe mile... hamesha se chaaha tha koi mujhe bhi sachche dil se pyaar kare... pyaar na sahi par sachchi dosti toh mili... mere liye itna hi kaafi hai..."

Her trance break seeing him coming back to room... they smiled seeing each other feeling blessed to have them in their life...

Sameer seeing her so tired moved to bed when Naina extend her hand to help him... he smiled asking, "you still wanted to help me..."

She realized her folly and pulled her hand back but asked suddenly, "par aapne pehle kabhi toh nahin bataya... I mean mujhe laga shayad..."

She stops seeing him laughing slowly... he said, "Naina, have you ever realized that I never asked you to help me... you remember first time when I slept in my study, you only offered me your help, and I just didn't deny... I was just playing around with you but later... I don't feel like to stop you for helping me... to be honest, I start liking it when you help me... sorry I was bit selfish but didn't mean to bother you at all because..."

Sameer stopped saying further as realized he was about to blurt his feelings out... he thinks, "tumhara paas aana mujhe ek alag hi sukoon deta hai... kaise tumhein apne paas aane se rok deta... kabhi zindagi mein maine kisi se help nahin li, kabhi kisi se koi ummid nahin ki, par jab tumne puchha toh laga jaise koi mera apna ho... I know its sound selfish par itani kadwahat ke beech tumhein apne kareeb rakhne ka yahi ek tarika samajh aaya mujhe... aur mere itne rude behavior ke baad bhi jaise tumne hamesha meri help ki, I was really touched..."

She laughed initially on her foolishness, "sorry mujhe pata nahin tha... but believe me aapke liye kuchh bhi karna mujhe achchha lagta hai... I mean I am not doubting on you but jis tarah aap meri care karte hai, meri har baat ka dhyaan rakhte hai, aisa kabhi kisi ne nahin kiya mere liye... so mujhe bhi aapke liye kuchh karna ho toh I feel glad... but really thanks for everything..." she said genuinely as no one has ever concerned for her...

Sameer, "thanks toh aaj mujhe bhi bolna chahiye... ek dost ki tarah jaise tumne aaj mujhe sambhala.... bina kahe mere dard ko samjha, usey dur kiya... uske liye thanks..."

They both smiled feeling content and soon after going to their beds slept peacefully facing each other... with the hope of a new dawn, to give a different angle to their relation... to get them closer...

Early morning Naina opened her eyes lazily seeing his face first thing in the morning... she smiled thinking, "kaash roj subah uthate hi yeh chehra mere saamne ho... din ki isase achchhi shuruaat toh ho hi nahin sakti... thank you bhagwanji meri zindagi mein yeh pal dene ke liye..."

She came out from washroom after taking shower, seeing him still sleeping peacefully... she took the opportunity to observe his face closely... without making noise, she sits close to him seeing his silky hair falls on his forehead... she softly brushed them away from his forehead with her one finger, ensuring best not to touch the skin to make him awake... but feeling her fresh scent close to him he slowly opened his eyes facing the most beautiful face close to him...

Naina jerked to straighten back feeling embarrass when Sameer pulled her from arm softly, crashing her into his chest... their faces were just an inch apart... her open long hairs spread all over her face blocking his way... he softly removed her hair aside and placed a soft kiss on her forehead... he whispered with a mischievous smile on his lips, "Good morning Naina..." her breathe gets uneven feeling tingling sensation that spread through her at the doting expression in his eyes...

She coughed slightly to hide her embarrassment as getting caught staring his face, playing with his silky hairs... Sameer smiled naughtily seeing his effect on her asked slowly, "you really like my hair so much... like I do...." her eyes got wide hearing him... seems he was all awaked while she was busy in her morning adventure... her heart seemed to skip a beat before it began to thump faster, as per blood roared through her veins...

Seeing his teasing smile, she straightened herself and said nervously, "voh... it's not like that... I mean voh mein aapko morning wish karne aayi thi..." gaining some confidence she said to divert him, "nahin matlab, voh humein mandir jaana hai na... we are getting late varna office ke liye bhi late ho jayega... chaliye jaldi kijiye..."

Sitting back, he smiled seeing her replied, "really... mujhe laga tumhara mood kuchh aur karne ka tha aaj subah subah... hope I didn't disturb you..." he winked to tease her more...

She felt embarrassed but to hide her nervousness she opened her mouth to reply but he again interrupt, "vaise Naina, can I request you for one thing..."

Her expression suddenly turned soft replying cutely, "kya... I mean of course... you don't need to request for anything... I am happy to do anything for you..." she said with an innocent soft smile on her face...

He suppressed his laughter saying, "voh kya tum roj subah mujhe aise hi pyaar se utha sakti ho... I mean mere baalon ko sahla kar... I really liked it..." he burst into laughter seeing her shocked face...

She squeezed her eyes and turned to go out making grumpy face, "mein jaa rahi hoon akele... lagta hai aaj aapka mood nahin hai... subah subah torture shuru ho gaya... kabhi nahin sudharenge"

Feeling a firm grip on her wrist she stopped when he makes her turned to his side... he cutely holds his one ear apologizing, "sorry... I really don't want to tease you but seriously, tumhein yun subah saamne dekh kar bohot achchha laga... and I really mean it... thanks, meri subah itni khubsurat banane ke liye..."

She pulled his hand down looking into his intense dark eyes... her cheeks flamed up instantly with soft touch of his hand... she closed her eyes feeling butterflies fluttered in her stomach... his eyes fixed on her quivered lips with an uneven breath... he lifted her face in his palms getting her lips close to his but denied for the moment... with a smirk he softly gave a soft peck on her cheek seeing her turning red with their proximity...

She opened her eyes seeing his face so close to hers... their eyes met with an irresistible desire ignited in them... unable to resist his desires, he slightly bent leaning towards her lips, closing the distance between them but both shivered slightly with a shrill sound of his phone... both realized what was happening a moment ago looking at each other... while one was in shock and the other one was grinning mischievously...

Naina stepped back nervously and rushed out from the room without looking back... he smiled ruffling his hair with a deep feeling of contentment and peace surging in his heart... keeping his hand on his heart he grinned widely, "what a lovely morning..."

Naina came back in room after some time, finding him busy on a video call... she entered silently and after selecting his office wear for the day, placed it on couch and left out without looking back at him... after morning, she has no courage left to face him any more...

Sameer's eyes were glued on her seeing her roaming around in room... keenly watching her every move resists his desire to hold her in his arms... seeing her going out silently without even giving a glance to him, makes him more confused, "kahin bura toh nahin maan gayi... par subah toh khush thi... muskura rahi thi phir achanak kaise... oh god kahin naraaz na ho gayi ho... mujhe bhi apne par jara sa bhi control nahin rehta..." he smiled recalling their moments, "par inti cute hai ki isase dur rehan kitna mushkil ho raha hai.. aur subah jaise pyaar se mujhe dekh rahi thi, mere baal.. haaye kisko pyaar nahin aayega iss masoom ada par..."

His trance suddenly breaks with a hard jerk from Pandit shouting on him, "Sameer... kya har waqt sapno mein khoya rehta hai... tujhe pata hai tu Video call par tha aur aise muskura raha tha ki jaise koi teenage hero apni heroine ko dekh kar muskurate hai... achchha hua maine video time par off kar diya varna sab dekhte hamare CEO ka yeh Mr Hero Maheshwari wala roop... pakka aadhe shareholders ko toh attack hi aa jaata tujhe yun muskurata dekh kar..."

Sameer smiled realizing how he was busy in his official video call but after seeing her back in room his mind went blank, lost in her dreams... he rubbed his forehead feeling shy when Pandit laughed seeing his condition, "yaar lagta hai kal long drive par mein gaya aur asar tujh par ho raha hai... not bad... par dhyaan rakhna pata laga conference room mein apni heroin ko dekh kar gaana mat shuru kar dena... vaise kuchh baat aage badi ki abhi bhi dur dur se dekhne mein hi laga hai..."

Sameer shook his head asking him the same question when Pandit replied, "yaar itni dur long drive kar li par haath pakadane tak ki himmat nahin huyi... thodi khatarnaak types hai na meri wali..." he said giving most pity look...

Sameer mumbled slowly, "aur meri wali sharmili... haath lagate hi dur bhaag jaati hai..." they both looked at each other and burst into a peal of laughter...

He came down for breakfast seeing her arranging the table for all... dining hall was filled with the aroma of delicious food cooked by her... soon all joined at table wishing each other...

Sameer seeing Karthik recall his last night conversation with Naina but still feel bit hesitate to take any initiative towards him... Naina seeing him tensed squeezed his hand softly blinking her eyes in assurance... he smiled feeling relaxed...

Samaina was busy in their own dreamworld when heard a loud chirpy voice, "good morning everyone... sorry I am late today..." Kamya came wishing all and sits next to Vishakha...

Vishakha only greets her back whereas others remain silent and focused on their breakfast... seeing all other avoiding her Vishakha says, "I was waiting for you only... itne kam dinon mein tumhari aadat si ho gayi hai... you are like a family now... right Karthik..." she asked Karthik who smiled faintly and focused back on his plate without replying...

Sameer mocked, "strange, jo log family hai unki aadat toh huyi nahin aur ek paraye ko itni jaldi apna bana liya... no wonder you too are absolutely same..."

Naina seeing his anger said, "voh maine kheer banayi hai aaj... aap lenge..." saying this she starts serving him kheer to divert his mind... seeing Kamya's shameless behavior she doesn't want to let anyone's mood spoil...

Karthik smiled seeing her efforts to avoid arguments within family member and to keep all together thinking, "ghar jodna aur sabka dhyaan rakhna Naina ko kitni achchhi tarah aata hai... whereas Kamya is totally opposite to her... kaise kuchh hi dinon mein Sameer aur Naina ke rishtey mein itna badlaav aa gaya hai aur yeh sab Naina ke efforts hi hai... I am sure jab Amrita iss ghar mein aayegi toh Naina se uski sabse achchhi dosti ho jayegi... donon bilkul ek jaisi hi hai... shayad yeh donon mil kar baaki rishtey bhi sudhaar sakein..." he thinks looking at Sameer with a hope...

His chain of thoughts broke hearing Sameer calling him to offer deserts, "voh... I think you too like kheer... you should try... it's really delicious..." saying this he extended a bowl towards him...

Karthik surprised seeing Sameer talking to him but seeing Naina's smile understood that it's all her efforts only to bring them together... he took the bowl thanking to him and praise her cooking skill...

Their increasing interactions doesn't go well with Vishakha... none of her plan was working perfectly making her more annoyed... she tried to control Sameer's life through Naina, but it failed as Naina denied supporting in her evil plans... she tried to keep Naina under her control, but Sameer never let her do... she tried to convince Karthik for Kamya but again he was opposing it... and now all three of them gelling well and seems like a family...

Knowing Sameer's aggressive nature and hatred towards them, she knew it must be Naina's efforts, trying to reduce differences between them... seething in anger more on Naina she left the table, followed by Kamya...

Karthik smiled saying, "thanks... its really delicious... vaise I am going out of station for few days for some personal work, so see you guys soon..." he purposely hid about revealing his plan of going to meet Amrita...

Naina knowing about his personal work quickly packed the desert in a tiffin box and handed to him, "yeh please meri taraf se le jaiyega... I am sure she will like it..."

Karthik stunned looking at Sameer but relaxed seeing him smiling with an assurance of his support for their relation... it shows that Naina already told him everything and he is somehow in agreement with him... a big relief...
