Chapter 15:Leaving.
Selozar
Things were in set for me to leave. I pulled out my phone, and began to call an Uber. I felt as if I wasn't alone. "Alone, if you're out there, come out." I yelled out in the dark street, but there was silence. Odd.
I called the Uber and began to wait for them to arrive, and sat down with my bags. I pulled out my diary, and began to write in it. Only two pages were filled, yet I still bring this old note book with me. No other particular reason other then it feels comfortable, even more now that I have to leave my friends, I just hope they're happy the way they are. I sat, writing for a minute, nothing but the sound of light buzzing, soft wind, and the sound of pen on paper.
I felt my hand slightly cramp, I haven't written this much in a while. A minute passes and a car suddenly pulls up to me. My phone dings, and I go to check it. Two messages, one from Alone and another from a number that I recognize to be my Uber. "Your Uber has arrived!" I get my stuff, and sit in the back. The car was a bit small, but I didn't feel crowded. The person turned around, it was a woman. she wore a large sweater, and what looked to be a long skirt. She also had a very long ponytail, and had a relaxed expression on her face. "Yo, wassup? I'm Sally Eia Warm, where would you like me to take ya?" She asked, hints of a northern accent in her voice. "Up in the forest, I'm bad with addresses, but it's a seemingly abandoned house up in the snowy forest, a few hours away." I explained, trying not to make direct eye contact. "Oh, you mean the house of that one old couple? Their grand children never visit them, and you don't seem as if you know them. It's private property, I'm not sure I'm allowed to do that..." Sally responded, a worried expression on her face. "It'll be fine, trust me."
Sally still seemed worried, probably knowing I was obviously hiding something. She didn't get serial killer vibes from me I hope, but knows I know something horrid. "Alrighty..." She mumbled, and began to drive. There was just a long silence, I was staring out the window, watching as things passed by him. Solitary.
I so badly wanted to leap out of the car and run back to Albert, the farther the car drove, the more fear grew on me. I never wanted to feel this kind of fear again. But here we are. I didn't want my friends to be hurt. I knew the feelings I felt now, but it seems it was at a horrid time. A perfectly, horrid time...
The farther the car traveled, the more emotional I got, to the point I began to feel tears run down my cheeks every so often. Sally decided not to ask, she was an Uber driver, not a therapist. I didn't expect her to really care.
An hour past, I fell asleep in the car. I knew I wouldn't get much sleep at that hell of a home, but of course I wanted to get as much sleep as I could before my beating came. We were almost there, about thirty minutes until we could make it. Those thirty minutes flew by like seconds, and I was awoken by a light shove. "You have arrived." She states, monotony. I pull the fifteen dollars I had out of my pocket and handed it to her. "Sir, this is a bit to much." She explains, looking into her bag to give me change. "No no, it's fine. Keep it! I insist!" I cheerfully state, trying not to break down in front of her.
She stayed silent for a moment. "Alright..." I got out of the car, and she waved good bye before she drove off. I began to silently weep as I walked up to the house. The snow was melting, mushy and wet. It made me uncomfortable.
I knocked on the door, for the door to be opened by Alone, followed by an aggressive "WHAT?!" I stood there, trying to stay brave but obviously trembling. "Ah! Selozar! Welcome back!" Alone welcomed, pulling me inside. There, on the couch, I saw Uleanra. I gasped. "YOU SAID YOU'D LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!" I yelled, instantly regretting it.
"I said I'd leave your lover boy alone, I said nothing about old friend Uleanra." Alone replies, a devilish smirk on his face, "And don't raise your voice at me again or there'll be consequences."
I sat down next to Uleanra. He didn't come here at free will, he looked to be kidnapped. I wonder how Jake never heard him leave, or hear Alone break in. Shitty apartments is all I can think off.
"Selozar, clean the house, we're leaving in three days." Alone demanded. I didn't hesitate to get up and begin cleaning. I didn't make a peep, just robotically cleaned. At least Sorrow, Jake, Adam, and Albert were safe... and it was my turn to keep Uleanra out of trouble. I hate Uleanra's teasing, but god damn it, he was like a brother to me. I love Uleanra, and hate seeing him hurt- correction, I hate seeing any of my friends hurt. It wilted me to my core. Especially Albert.
My mind raced, but it was all a jumble, I couldn't make out any thoughts. I was focused on cleaning, not thinking. "One more thing, Selozar." Alone calls, causing me to be startled and snap out of my robotic state. "Einin is staying over, so be on your best behavior for her, my little shithead."
I nodded, not surprised. I continued to clean, scrubbing the dirt covered floors and dumping the rest outside. After a few hours, I was done. The house was probably the cleanest it's been in years. I was tired, but sat by Uleanra, I wasn't going to sleep until he woke up. Alone walked over, and saw my tired eyes as I sat holding my knees, leaning on the small couch Uleanra slept on. "What are you doing? You should sleep. It's two in the morning, and you and Uleanra have a lot to do tomorrow."
"I know, but I wanna make sure Uleanra's okay." Selozar answered, stuggiling to keep awake. "Look, I'll put him in the guest room right next to yours. Deal?" "Deal."
Alone grabbed Uleanra's hand and dragged him up the stairs carelessly. I trailed close behind him, and watched as Alone threw him on the mattress. "There ya go." I was worried, and put Uleanra into a comfy position on the bed, before standing up straight. "Thank you, Alone." I murmured, looking down. "Of course, but we can't get to comfortable with me doing that, alright?" Alone uttered, smiling with his eerily gleeful smile. I trudged to his room, and lightly closed the door. I flopped on the bed, and I felt my back slightly pop. It was uncomfortable, a rock would be more comforting- oh wait that'd be kind of sexual- never mind.
This is life I guess...
Albert
I woke up, and went to wake up Selozar. I got up, cracked my back, stretched a bit, and went to his room, but strangely... he wasn't there. I looked at the time and saw it was twelve in the afternoon, pretty early for me to be honest.
Actually, there was no sign of Selozar. No clothes, nothing. I looked at my phone, and saw I had tons of text messages from Jake.
I looked through them, most were spam, trying to get me up, but the first one concerned me a bit.
Jasshole
Jake: Yo, did Uleanra come over to your place? I can't find him anywhere.
Jake: Hello?
Jake: ALBERT WAKE UP
Jake: ALLBERRRTTTT
Jake: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLBERRRRRRRRRRRRT
Albert snickered at Jake's persistance, but it worried him. He texted back "Sorry man, you know my sleep schedule. Anyways, no, he's not at my place. Neither is Selozar. I'll go looking though."
He put his phone in his pocket, and saw a piece of paper laid on the counter. It was in Selozar's handwriting,
"Dear Albert,
Today was fun! But last night Alone threatened me to come home, or he'll hurt you! He gave me a week, but if I returned soon, I was still allowed to see you. Under heavy supervision, of course. I didn't want to live in a mess, so I packed my stuff and left. I'm so sorry. You can visit, I'd love to see you again, but I'm afraid for yours and the other fours safety, I must go.
-Selozar"
Albert began to flip.
Jasshole
Albert: JAKE I THINK ULEANRA AND SELOZAR ARE BACK AT ALONE'S PLACE!
Jake: WHAT?!
I texted him a picture of the letter. It took him a moment to respond, but he said "Adam says Sorrow is with him, having breakfast with him, meaning it was an Alone thing only." I texted back a meeting place, took two eggo waffles out of the fridge, and began to eat them as I got in my car to go to the park, where we'd all meet up.
We had to get them back.
They didn't deserve to be there
OH MY FUCK I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR A MONTH
I lost motivation for a while, and I can't say I'm quite back in the swing of things. School for me starts in 7 days, and I'm glad I got 15 chapters out over the summer. I'm sorry again for not updating, and those two chapters Jamie wrote are gonna be deleted (I'm sorry Jamie but I gotta :( I still love you tho)
This chapter wasn't as big of a train wreak as Chapter 14, but it got messy at the end.
Anyways, updates will be slower then they usually are, but I'll try to work on this as much as I possibly can! And I'll try not to have the fanfic be updated every month or so. No, I'm not getting a schedule.
If you got annoyed about the month break thing, then oh boy you haven't seen shit yet.
I'll take my leave now. Thank you for sticking around if you did <3
