Life had never been better. Not only was she dating a smoking hot Junior, he was also the most popular guy at school. Scratch that, in the whole city! Davi felt on top of the world. "Hey little D! How's it going?" Said Paxton as Davi walked into the school. She smiled at him and sighed. "What the hell, I'm doing friggin amazing." Davi smiled. Ben walked past her in the hallway. He froze, his mouth slightly ajar. "Oh, hey." He said after a few seconds of awkward silence.

"Hey." Said Davi with a little wave. Ben gave a small smile and walked away. "That was weird." Said Davi. Paxton shrugged. "Who cares about him, what about us?" Said Paxton. He gave her an adorable smile that made Davi want to melt.

"Davi, sorry Paxton, were stealing her." Said Fabiola, grabbing Davi's arm and tugging her away. "Bye Paxton!" Davi said, smiling. "So! What's it like finally being his girlfriend?" Said Eleanor, grinning. "Kinda regular. Paxtons just any old guy to me." Said Davi, keeping it cool. Eleanor and Fabiola exchanged a glance. "Fine, it's amazing!" Said Davi.

Ben stood a few steps away from Davi, opening his locker door. The whole weekend he had felt like he had been drowned in a pool of molasses, unable to move or think. His mind was still hovering over the fact that Davi had chosen him.

"Hey all!" Said Aneesa, walking in. "Got a haircut this weekend, how are we feeling about it?" She said. She did her classic Ariana Grande hair flip. Davi rolled her eyes. Be mature, she thought to herself. "You look great." Said Davi. Everyone turned to look at her. "No joke!" She said nervously.

"Come on guys, let's get to class." Said Ben, putting on a smile. Davi walked into facing history and turned to the big chalkboard. "Hello everyone!" Said Mr. Shapiro. "Today, in inspiration of the major changes around us, let's change seats." He said. Everyone groaned. Aneesa turned to Ben and grinned. "Hey, we can finally sit together!" She said, glancing for a second at Davi.

Davi inwardly growled. Yes, she had sat near Ben last semester. Ben smiled, although it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Yeah." He said. Aneesa playfully punched him in the arm. "Sound a little more excited will you?" She said playfully. He released a slightly strained laugh and sat in the front row, of course. Davi rolled her eyes, and fought the temptation to ask him what was wrong.

Davi spaced out as Mr. Shapiro started talking, thinking of Paxton. Her gaze shifted to Ben, who had a slightly pained expression on his face. She shook her head swiftly. "Think of Paxton." She murmured.

"So we will have Fabiola and Aneesa, Paxton and- where's Paxton?" Said Mr. Shapiro. He turned to Davi. "I wasn't with him when I walked in, he's probably coming soon." She said, peering around the class. Just as she said that Paxton walked in. "Sorry, I got my schedule mixed up." He said. He turned to Davi and sat down next to me. She grinned at him. "Anyway, Paxton and Eleanor, and Ben and Davi." Said Mr. Shapiro. Paxtons smile slipped away.

After class Davi walked with Paxton outside into the hallway. "Hey, it's no biggie! It's not like I'm abandoning you." She said. Paxton didn't look happy. "You're with Eleanor...she's great." Davi said, trying to cheer him up. "Whatever, can we, you know, hang after school?" He said. Davi grinned. "Of course!" She said,

Ben walked up to Davi, feeling his stomach drop as he saw her with Paxton. Paxton, the perfect handsome guy. But yet Davi had chosen him. "Hey David." He said. Davi turned. "One second. Don't worry!" Said Davi, smiling at Paxton in the way she used to smile at him. "We have to work on our project." He said.

"Where?" She said, "My place?" "Well, my dad has this big office, that nice printer kind, if you know it." He said. Davi laughed and Ben's spirits lifted. "Fine, you can show me your fancy printer." She said, smiling.

Paxton watched as Davi laughed with Ben. A deep pit of rage swelled in his stomach as he walked off. The urge to rip Ben's hair out grew.

"See you after school!" Said Davi, waving too Ben, who looked to be in an incredibly better mood. She walked through the halls, happy. Wait, did she just plan to study with Ben?! Didn't Paxton ask her to hang out after school?! "Shoot!" Muttered Davi. She had really Davied this one up.
