Ugh. Time for day two in hell. I slowly got up, and went straight to the bathroom. After getting out and getting changed, I walked downstairs. Helen was on the couch, watching the news. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a apple, just like yesterday. I went to the door and put on my shoes. I grabbed my backpack, and walked out of the house.

During my walk, I felt something whiz past me. I saw Jackson on his skateboard, with headphones plugged in. He was moving at quite a pace. I rolled my eyes and continued my walk.

When I reached the school, I went straight to my locker. Next to me, there was a girl with chocolate skin, with golden eyes. She was taking things out of her locker, and she looked around nervously.

Being the curious person I was, I asked her what was the problem.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, closing my locker slowly.

"Oh, hi. Everything's fine, I'm just waiting for someone. I'm Hazel by the way." She smiled warmly at me, and she seemed to be a sweet girl.

"I'm Annabeth." I smiled back and shook her hand.

"I think I have you in some of my classes." Hazel took out a paper from one of her folders and showed it to me. We had math class together, along with Chemistry, Biology, and Language Arts.

"We have four classes together." I smiled, glad that I had made a new friend.

"Well, it doesn't look like he's going to show up. Care to walk with me to math?" She asked.

"Sure." I smiled and followed her to Mrs. Craig's class.

I finally made a friend, and she seemed super nice. When we walked into math class, we had five minutes to spare.

"Let me introduce some of my friends." Hazel lead me toward the seats next to the windows. There was a girl with choppy brown hair, with kaleidoscopic eyes. She was talking to a tall and muscly guy with blonde hair, and electric blue eyes. Next to them was a Hispanic boy, with brown curly hair.

"Hey guys! I made a new friend. Her name is Annabeth." Hazel pointed towards me, and I waved shyly.

"Hey Annabeth." The girl with choppy hair stood up and shook my hand.

"I'm Piper. By the way, you have pretty hair!" Piper squealed, and I lightly laughed.

"Piper, your girl side is showing too much." The kid with blonde hair rolled his eyes.

"I'm Jason by the way." He waved, then started making another conversation with Piper.

"I'm the hot sizzling Leo." Leo winked at me and I rolled my eyes. Boys.

"Well, nice to meet you guys." I smiled and just stood there awkwardly.

"Frank will be coming soon. Anyway, you can sit by me." Hazel sat on a desk.

"Alright." I sat next to her, and took out my notes.

I saw Jackson walking through the door, and quickly looked at me. I stole a glance at Jackson, and one of his eyes were red. Was he okay? I had no idea. I looked away as Jackson sat in the back of the class.

A tall buff guy with black short-cut hair walked by and sat by Leo.

"Hey Hazel. Sorry I was late." He smiled at Hazel then quickly looked at me.

"Hi, I'm Frank. Glad to see Hazel made a friend." He said.

"I'm Annabeth. Nice to meet you." I waved and I quickly got quiet as Mrs. Craig walked in the classroom.

"Good to see you could make it on time Percy." Mrs. Craig smirked and went to her desk.

Well, this will be fun.

-------Time Skip to Lunch because I'm not creative------

Hazel and her friends invited me to sit by them during lunch, and I reluctantly gave in. While we walked towards lunch, I saw Percy talking with Luke. They were in front of the boys bathroom, and Percy was looking down. Luke was smirking, and pushed Percy to the wall. A little bit of anger filled inside of me as Luke kept pushing Percy around. Piper noticed my staring and looked in the direction I was staring at. She smirked at me.

"Percy Jackson, huh? Shadow kid? Quite a good looking guy." Piper wiggled her eyebrows.

"Ew! No Piper. It's just Luke is being super rude." I shook my head.

"Well, let's stop his madness." Piper walked confidently towards Luke.

Is she crazy? Does she see how tall that guy is? Does she know what happened at lunch yesterday?

I sighed and walked behind Piper.

"-piece of shit." Luke snarled and elbowed Percy in the ribs. It wasn't a big impact, but Percy seemed really effected by it.

"Hey! Leave him alone." Piper pushed Luke off of Percy.

"Well, well. Piper McLean, huh?" Luke smirked casually leaned on the wall.

"Leave her alone." Jason showed up behind Piper, ready to strike.

"Well, Percy, seem like some actual idiots do care about you." Luke rolled his eyes and then looked at me.

"Well. Annabeth Chase I presume? You look more beautiful up close." Luke winked at me. I was purely disgusted.

"You look and smell way worse up close." I rolled my eyes.

"Feisty now are we? That's how I like them." He winked again.

"Yeah right. Like I'd ever be with you." I spat, and glared at him.

"See you around, beautiful." Luke smirked and walked away.

"What a perv." Piper snarled.

I looked at Percy, who was currently uncomfortable. His face looked worse than yesterday, and his eye was looking super red.

"Hey Percy, you should get that eye checked out." I said, looking at his eye.

"I'm fine." He said, barely a whisper.

"You alright man?" Jason clapped Percy's shoulder, and I saw Percy wince. Now I was curious, and I wanted to find out what is wrong with this mysterious boy in front of me.

"I'm okay. I'm not worth fighting for, so don't stand up for me." Percy walked past us, and headed into the lunch room.

"Well, that was a disaster." Piper sighed and walked slowly towards the cafeteria with me and Jason on her tail.

"Yep." I said, popping out the p.

Piper lead me towards a lunch table close by the windows. I sat down by Hazel, who was busy talking with Frank. I saw Percy in the corner of the cafeteria. He was sitting alone on a table, just listening to his headphones. He was staring into outer space, so I had time to look at his features without being caught.

I looked at his sea green eyes. They were like a whirlpool that I was suddenly lost in. But then hi eyes made in contact with mine. I quickly looked away, with a slight blush creep on my face.

"Hey Annie, what's wrong?" Piper asked, looking at me weirdly.

"First of all, never call me Annie, And second, I'm fine." I shrugged and continued eating lunch.

"Alright. I'll be back." Piper had a smirk on her face, and now I was worried. She walked towards the back of the lunch room.

No. No. No. No. No.

The lunch room became quiet as we watched Piper walked towards Percy's table. She sat down across from Percy, then looked at the rest of the lunch room.

"Is there a problem?" Piper raiesd an eyebrow as everybody continued back to their conversations.

She started whispering things to Percy, and the pointed towards me. I face palmed, and buried my head into my hands. I was glad I had a friend, but I wasn't glad that they were assuming I like Percy. When Piper got up, Percy stood up as well.

They began walking straight towards our table.

"Great," I muttered to myself.
