Layla's POV:

Stephanie and I were walking to the cosmetics center, "Layla are you ready for this?" She asked excitedly. "If you mean taking out Johnny then yeah." I replied thinking about the mission at hand. "Then let's say goodbye to Natalia Locke and hello to Layla Rollins." Stephanie says as she opens the door and we both head inside. After a couple hours of getting my hair done, they finally showed me the final results. And not going to lie it looked amazing. "Wow! now its time for you to look the part." Stepahanie said holding the gear I asked for. She then passes me my gear to put on. I quickly put the suit on and zip up the final part of the suit. I make my way to the mirror to see the completed results for myself. Stephanie walked over to me catching my attention. "Wow you look even better than I could have imagined. How do you feel my protégé?" She asked a small grin on her face. "Honestly, it's a lot more comfortable than the Spartan uniform and I can't wait to kick John's ass now." I replied with a smile on my face excited for tonight's mission. "I have a gift for you as a token of my appreciation." She says. "But I haven't done anything to earn it." I mumbled a bit confused. "Because I want to give you an edge on your foes and help you stay stealthy." She replied handing me the package leaving no room for argument. I open the package and inside was a mask identical to the Winter Soldier's from the Upcoming Captain America movie that's been teased. I then open the longer box and inside were the escrima sticks identical to the ones black widow had. "Okay that's going to do some damage." I chuckled with a smile on my face seeing them.  "That's exactly what I thought! Now go and get into position and kick his ass. And by the way, the SHIELD will be making sure no one goes near you, you're not part of the SHIELD in fact you're in more control than they are." She tells me. "I won't fail you, Stephanie." I promised as I put the escrima sticks in their holster and I attached the mask to my face. 

I climb up into the rafters and make my way above the steel cage waiting for the perfect time to strike. The lights go out suddenly and that is when I drop down onto the steel cage the blue veins on my suit glowing eerily in the darkness.  The light then flickers back on, and I take that opportunity to drop down and attack him from behind. I pull my escrima stick out of their holsters and just pummel him relentlessly with them. He shoves me away from him trying to get some distance between us, he then hits me with a superkick to the jaw making me stumble backwards and my mask falls to the mat. "Natalia?!" He shouts surprise and betrayal ringing in his voice. "I'm sorry Natalia isn't here anymore; you must have me confused with someone else." I replied, a sinister grin on my face as I spun one of the sticks in my hand threateningly. I launch myself at him wrapping my legs around his neck flipping myself backwards sending headfirst into the cell wall. The lights go out again and I leave the area the same way I entered grabbing my mask along the way. Once out of sight I make my way back to the room to meet up with Stephanie while putting the mask back on.

"How did I do?" I asked Stephanie as I entered the room. "You did brilliantly! How did it feel to take out the man that betrayed you?" She asked a smile on her face. "It felt great, and he didn't even see it coming." I replied, a smirk on my face. "Brilliant, and I did say that if you completed it there would be a reward for you." She tells me. "Oh?" I asked curiously. "Yes, next week you will be facing AJ Lee in a no disqualification title match." She tells me. "Thank you so much for this opportunity." I replied gratefully getting excited to take on AJ. "You're welcome just do what you did with John, and you'll be absolutely fine." She tells me. "I won't fail you ma'am." I replied on instinct. "What did I tell you about calling me Ma'am? Its just Stephanie. Now I recommend you get some more training in and get some sleep to get ready for next week." Stephanie scolded. "My apologies, and I'll be sure to do just that." I replied before heading to the training room to get some practice in.
