AESON CRESS was a man (well a humanoid man, but technicalities aside) who had his fair share of love and uncertain experiences in the galaxy. From a young age, he had been thrown into the thick of a war between an already dominating Empire and a scraggly rebellion that couldn't ever seem to leave him alone to join their side. They were always in desperate need of healers, as were the Empire. But Aeson had never wanted that life, preferring a one of simplicity and no problems. That was all the Naboo native wanted- but it would be the last thing that he got.

Because, of course, nothing could go exactly as planned inside of the galaxy. Princess Leia Organa crashed down onto Naboo with a mission and a goal, thwarting all of Aeson's plans and ideal of having a perfectly normal, under the radar life. He was swept into a world of constant battles, a quick touch and go romance, and always cleaning up the messes the lover princess of his left behind.

Until one day, it becomes too much.

Leia was captured by the Empire and Darth Vader himself, and when nothing was heard of her, Aeson decided that his time with the Rebellion had ended, and he ran. Ran back to the life that he so desired, figuring that it'd be better to never contact anyone in the Rebellion again- not Leia, and not any of the friends that he had made inside. Instead, he hears about the missions of the Rebellion from afar. He hears about he rise of a Jedi named Luke Skywalker, and the fall of a lineage of a family with the name Ceydea. He lives his life like any other normal citizen in the galaxy.

That is, until about 40 years later when the now General Leia Organa shows up on his doorstep in Naboo, asking for help for one of her younger members of the Resistance who is in dire need of assistance. The unforeseen circumstances throw him right back into the mess, and Aeson discovers that the old flame that he had tried so hard to suppress might have found its way back into his heart.

He just hopes that the General realizes what kind of shit show she's getting into.

it's time for me to have another excuse to use as many agents of shield cast members as I possibly can inside of the star wars universe and also thirst over the man that is ENVER GJOKAJ

okay anyways,, this fic has kinda been in the back of my mind for a little while since I started to in depth plan out the full scale of my universe and I wanted Leia to have a little fling before she got into the events of  a new hope and everything, and add some layers into this universe (as if there weren't enough already ahaha) !!

this fic is most likely going to be updated very slowly for the time being, as until we hit the rise of skywalker, I don't want to give away any spoilers!! but I will probably be able to do some writing of the flashbacks and stuff, so we'll get some sporadic ones hopefully!!
