(Ash's POV)

"You're so sweet, Ash." Suyoshi whispers into my ear.

"WHAT'S WITH THE WHISPERING?!" Serena yells out. "ASH, ARE YOU DATING SUYOSHI OR SOMETHING?!"

"Huh? Dating?" I say, acting all dense.

"He's too dense to be dating!" Bonnie says.

"From what I remember..." Misty says. "Ash was crazy about girls! Him and Brock would fall in love with some girl in less than a second!"

"I don't believe that!" Iris says. "I only believe the part about Brock!!"

Everyone's distracted now. I try walking away but I just remember about my arm being squeezed by Suyoshi. 

"Wha-what're you doing, Ash?" She asks me. 

"I was just gonna go and take a walk!" I answer her. She lets go of my arm and I walk away. Pikachu jumps onto my shoulder and Greninja's walking beside me. I walk and walk around Lumiose City. Some faces stare at me, happiness in their eyes.

"CUT IT OUT!!" I hear someone say. I look into the direction where the voice was heard. A kid is being cornered by that same guy. His orange spiky hair is the only colorful thing. His mask is covering his face.

"STOP!!" I yell. "I'M GONNA RIP THAT MASK OFF OF YOU!"

He simply laughs. He turns back to the scared kid. I'm about to snap. I tell Greninja to quickly save the boy and for Pikachu to distract the spiky haired guy.

Greninja runs and the it's as if the boy teleported to my side. Pikachu is powering up its Thunderbolt. But Pikachu is now being held by him and not in the nice way. Then he starts torturing Pikachu! I dash toward him. I grab Pikachu out of the way but I trip. I cover Pikachu in my arms. He sends out his Gyarados and mega evolves it. Gyarados and Greninja are battling it out.

"ASH!!" That's Suyoshi's voice! Then Suyoshi is standing in front of me.

"Get... get out of here, Suyoshi!" I say. 

"You are NOT gonna hurt Ash!" She says. People are staring at us now. Then he pushes Suyoshi away. She falls to the ground. Then he starts walking over to her.

"Suyoshi!" I yell. "Pikachu, help Greninja!" Pikachu runs out of my arms.

"STOP IT!!" Bystanders yell.

"LISTEN TO ME!" I yell. "THIS GUY IS LYSANDRE, LEADER OF TEAM FLARE! HE USED ZYGARDE AND TRIED TO KILL US!!"

People gasp. Lysandre stops in his tracks. He stares at me through the eyeholes of his mask. I see the flare in his eyes. I feel his fist collide into my stomach. Then he walks away and returns his Gyarados back to his Pokéball.

"ASH!" Suyoshi yells out, running towards me. I can't focus. The pain is starting to increase its damage unto me. I try to focus my eye sight on Suyoshi. There are tears coming out of her eyes.

"I've been through worse!" I say. "Suyoshi, it's fine! I'm alright!"

Then I feel myself being squeezed into Suyoshi's arms. "I'm so sorry, Ash!" She looks around. "No one you know is here." Again, I feel her soft lips collide into mine. I can't bring my arms up to hug her because I keep them at my painful stomach. We stay like this for a while. Then Suyoshi lets go of me and her face is a bright red.

"H-how is your face not even close to red?" She asks.

"I'm able to hide it." I answer her. We both stand up. We turn around to make our way back to the others when... Serena is staring at us.

"A-Ash!" She says. "Wh-what're you doing?!" 

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Sh-she k-kissed you!" 

"Yeah? You did the same to me!" I respond.

"B-but you seemed to have ENJOYED that kiss... more than mine!" She stutters.

"Huh? It's just a kiss!" I say.

Serena breathes a sigh of relief and starts walking back to the others.

"That was close." Suyoshi whispers to me.

"I think she knows though. Her heart might be broken..." I whisper back.

"But there's one thing..." Suyoshi says. "I-I l-love y-you!"

I give her a shocked look. I don't know how to respond. But I open my mouth to speak...
