Dear Ms Anderson,

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this e-mail might cause you, but I feel the need to express my gratitude towards you. 

I stumbled across your blog after a recommendation from one of my colleagues, and I have to say that I was highly moved and inspired by your sentiment. It is not often that you come across someone brave enough to speak out about their experiences in that way. What you have achieved by means of your blog is highly commendable and I can tell that it is already making a difference in the way that people think. 

And that is why I have a proposal for you.

I am one of the organizers of a campaign called "One Step at a Time" (OST). We are a group who stand out against gun violence in America. We would be honoured if you could join us and speak out your anecdote in our favour. It would mean the world to us if you could show your support to the cause, even if it was just by mentioning us and some of the work we do in your blog. Or, perhaps, if you would be up for it, standing up to speak at one of our gatherings in which we try to gain support for our cause. It would be an honour to work with you, Isabella, and we hope to hear from you soon. :)
