"I've missed you so much!" You ran towards your long awaited father and collapsed onto his chest. Your legs wobbly because of the emotions taking affect on your physical body. Your father threw his arms around you, stopping you from sliding off his body and hitting the ground. Tears now streaming down your cheeks, no shame what so ever. Your mother only watched, all types of emotions colliding. The main emotions being fear, happiness, and somewhat jealously?
"Sshhhhh.... I'm home now, sweetheart.." He lifted up one hand and began to softly stroke down your hair. "I'm here to keep you safe now...."
His words only made you cry louder, the tears now doubling. You wanted to say something, but what? After all this time you'd think that you'd have at least something to tell him. Nope. But it was better this way. Actions speak louder than words.
"Hey, y/n. I just realized that I still haven't schedule a-"
"Oh! It's you again! Honey, this is one of those new friends y/n has made! A nice fella he is! Don't let looks fool you!" Well then.....
Sans pov
Alright.... This must be the psycho dad I heard so much about. Looks a lot like y/n. And I mean ALOT.
"Yes yes... Sans, I believe is what they call you?" Crap, his voice is sending shivers down my spine. Well.... I kinda know what's happening. Overprotective father business. And he's unstable so I should be more careful with what I do to y/n.... Dang it.
"Y-yes sir," don't stutter! I extended my hand out to the man who was holding a sobbing y/n. Wish that was me... He grabbed onto my hand rather roughly, squeezing it with all his might. Heck, he even popped my fingers! I didn't show the pain on my face though. To earn their respect, you must endure what they throw at you. Even if it's a chair. Or a bullet.
"Strong grip," huh... Maybe I'm already on his good side! "Say... Do your parents know you're here?" Oh...
"Well um.. (Clears throat) I uh... My parents aren't exactly... Here anymore. I live with my baby brother. And he's having cooking lessons with a friend of his..."
"I see... I'm sorry for your loss."
"It's alright..." I averted my gaze to the ground and shrugged lightly. By the time we started talking about my parents, y/n had already stopped sobbing and was now starring at me with puffy red eyes. "So I'll be getting out of your hair now. I'll pick ya up at 6!" As soon as I said that, I bolted back to y/n's room, jumped out the window and I was gone.
Your pov
"....y/n, I knew someday someone would swoop you off your feet.... But that guy? I know 'bad boys' are something most girls like but this guy?!"
"He's not a 'bad boy.' I could beat him up if I wanted to but he's a really nice guy. He helped me a lot in just three days..." It was now 4 pm, you and your mother had settled into the idea that your long awaited father was back. But he hasn't settled into the idea that Sans was going to take you out. He was protective when you were little but that was 1o years ago. He should at least cut you some slack, you're a full....ish grown woman now. "Does Uncle Drake know you're home yet? He opened up a store 5 years ago and I often visit. He really misses you...." You averted your gaze down to a mug of hot chocolate that you were drinking just moments ago. The steam floated up into the air, letting you know you was still hot.
".......He doesn't know yet but I'll be sure to visit as soon as possible."
"Promise?"
".........I promise.... Speaking of which, how's your musical career going?"
"Eh.... I still haven't moved to bigger audience. I mostly just play in front of mom, Uncle Drake, some people who visit his store, you, and Sans."
"You must really trust him, huh?"
"Yeah... I guess I do."
"Y/n! Do you know what you're going to wear on your date with Sans?!"
"It's not a date!" You and your farther screamed in unison. Well..... Technically it was a date, but that detail doesn't need to be made known. Carrie seemed to be on your side and was meowing rather loudly at the direction of where your mom was. That location being your room. She was laying on your fathers lap, her head propped up.
"....hey dad? Mom always talked about you having scary dreams... Which was kinda why you left.... Did they ever stop?" Your father was a bit taken aback by this. He was hoping that you would've been shielded by his 'problems' but your older now. You understand what was going on back then...
"..the nasty dreams stopped and I doubt they'll be coming back now." Lies. "So what ARE you going to wear?"
"...something that goes nicely with the weather." Maybe a shirt that says 'Sorry I'm late'? Sans is picking me up so it wouldn't make sense if he's the one who's late. Maybe a flannel... Yeah.... Lumberjack style... That sounds weird actually.
"Maybe a dress?" Oh dear god no.
Small time skip
"I-I really doubt tha-"
"But y/n! It's a date! You have to look nice!"
"But it's notttt," you whined. You're mother can't even get that thought through her head. You wanted to go casual but she insists that you wear a dress of sorts. "Mom, just wait outside my room, I'll change into something nice, and then you give me an opinion," you demanded and then shoved your mom out the room. You never liked changing in front of people, even if they're your doctor, best friend, or a parent. You slipped off your shirt, revealing your f/c bra. Wait a second...
I know I'm evil when it comes to cliffhangers. I couldn't find a good picture for this chapter but the one in use is really cool. It doesn't belong to me
