The Alliance
"How does he even get these good grades?!"
It would be surprising if a person had exclaimed this out of nowhere, even if that person in question was standing in front of a bulletin board that posted exam results, in front of many people.
The place in question was actually the corridors of Yumenosaki Academy, where students had been walking to and from classes, idol training rooms or clubs. It was around time for lunch so most students were heading for the canteen when a number of students suddenly heard that shout from out of the blue.
That, in and of itself, was already surprising but what was more surprising was the fact that there was not only one person who had shouted it out... and at the same time. At close vicinity. Those people could only look at each other in utter surprise and bafflement as they both said:
"Suou-senpai?"
"Shiratori-kun?"
After such a startling display, all the students had just walked ahead to the canteen, no longer paying mind to the odd display except for a few people looking back at the now flustered Aira and Tsukasa giving way to others as they started chatting.
Both had been surprisingly alone, without friends at the moment. In Aira's case, he had been heading to the canteen alone, since both Hiiro and Mayoi who usually accompanied him couldn't make it in time due to class and club obligations.
He wasn't very close to his other classmates and he didn't ask other people who he could count as friends, like Hajime, Sora, Tori, Arashi or Mika, to name a few to have lunch together because they must have other obligations so he didn't feel like interrupting them and... a bunch of other excuses not to disturb his senpai. But really, the reason why he didn't ask, if he had the courage and that was a 50-50, was because he was in a bit of a bad mood.
'I can't improve my grades,' Aira thought sadly as just before lunch break, he was given the results of one of the quizzes that Yumenosaki loves to pop out of the blue and his results... left a little to desire. It was not for the lack of trying, but... sometimes things get in the way, he was an idol and had to work hard to keep being an idol, his room was a bit of a mess because of the latest idol merch he bought and he needed to sort it out, he needed to check his phone for any important messages and if he went a bit overboard with time to check it... OK, he knew he was making excuses.
He also knew he had studied from time to time despite those excuses, and it just wasn't enough. That frustrated Aira to no end, but he still needed to try because even if Yumenosaki wasn't completely focused on general studies, one could never be too careful... and he didn't feel like being expelled from Yumenosaki at all, thank you very much.
For some reason, as he kept thinking about his low grades and how he tried to study and failed in getting the desired results, he couldn't help but also think about a certain someone who managed to score extremely well to the point that one would think he is cheating unless you knew the person better. And the way he says how he does it...
'Not everyone can just remember what we learn from classes and apply it to test like that!!! Ordinary people have to revise and review before they get it,' Aira thought, his mood worsening a little although his thoughts could not help that.
It was around that time when his thoughts kept coming to that certain someone, he shouted out what he did in his exasperation and sullen thinking of how some people have it made, petty as such thinking was. What surprised Aira more now, was that Tsukasa Suou had also shouted the very same thing. But for exactly what reason?
Aira, with all his idol otakuness, can admit that depending on how much he stanned an idol, the amount of information he had on them would vary and might even be false based on how Aira had speculated the personality of an idol from what he had gathered and the threads he read about them in SNS, which he had realized after hanging out with Arashi a lot in Pretty 5 and even admitting that he got Arashi wrong when comparing to what he thought he knew and what he actually experienced.
Even then, Aira did not think he was wrong when he thought of Tsukasa as a serious and down to earth individual who excels in many things including academics. Aira had the reason to shout out what he did because of his momentary self-deprecation when comparing his own academic results with someone's excellent ones despite the year gap between them. Aira could not even fathom why Tsukasa, who surely got excellent results in his academics would envy someone else's good grades. To Aira, that didn't make sense. He also wasn't sure who Tsukasa was shouting about anyway. For all Aira knew, it would be completely different people. There was no way... right?
"Ahem," Tsukasa said, startling Aira out of his thoughts although they still buzzed around his mind such as Tsukasa was also alone too without the other Knights seniors or any of his classmates and friends. Aira tried to rein in such thoughts and focused on Tsukasa to continue talking.
"What a coincidence that we would meet each other like this," Tsukasa said.
"Yeah," Aira said, and there was a momentary silence before Aira thought that maybe Tsukasa, like him, was at a loss to what to say. In fact, if Aira could recall from way back when, he didn't have many opportunities to talk like this with Tsukasa due to many things, he guessed.
Before things gotten too awkward, Tsukasa said, "Do you want to have lunch with me, Shiratori-kun? It seems that you are alone and I wouldn't mind some company while eating. Oukawa has spoken about you from time to time, and I would like to actually know Oukawa's friend better."
"Ehh... really?" Aira asked, knowing that Tsukasa was asking him to join him for lunch even with some English words mixed with the local Japanese in his speech, "I would be glad to join you, Suou-senpai~"
"Then let us be off," Tsukasa said, "Before all the tables are taken."
***
They couldn't avoid what joined them together for so long.
"Shiratori-kun, how have you been doing in your studies?" Tsukasa asked, after a chat about Kohaku which led to sweets before he decided to broach another topic, one that Aira dreaded, called academics.
"... Umm... I have been trying my best," Aira decided on this safe answer, hoping it would appease Tsukasa. Unfortunately it did not.
"Well, if you are doing your best, then how come you envy someone with good grades? If you did your best, then there's no one you need to compare to because you should have pride on your own results and not let anything dampen it."
Although Aira was touched by this encouragement, he could also tell it for what it was: a ploy to know why Aira had shouted what he did back then, maybe out of simple curiosity.
Aira was also curious as to why Tsukasa shouted the same thing he did but never broached the topic since his senpai didn't. Now it has come to this though...
"Well, I know that but I can't help myself," Aira said, choosing to play along, "Especially when I think about Hiro-kun, and the way he gotten his good grades. Not everyone can be a genius like him..."
"Amagi-kun, huh?" Tsukasa said, and if there was anything bitter at the end of Aira's statement, he did not comment on it, "I will admit that I am just as baffled as you are on how he gets good grades. I have been actually wanting to know his study techniques and how he's applied himself to do so well in tests."
"Wait, really?!" Aira asked, shocked. So they were shouting about the same person. But, really... why?
So great to his curiosity on that question, Aira further said, "But you really score well on tests yourself, Suou-senpai. I can't really see why you would envy Hiro-kun's grades when you are doing well yourself."
"It is not a matter of envy," Tsukasa quickly corrected Aira, "But a matter of pride. I simply don't want to lose after being on top for so long. And yet... Amagi-kun really is worthy to be my academic rival."
"Oh... I see," Aira said, knowing full well that Hiiro would not see it the same way. To him, school was a place to learn and positions never mattered to him. Aira couldn't help but envy that mindset and feel a little sorry for Tsukasa when he knows he won't be acknowledged the same way by Hiiro in this matter of rivalry.
"I will definitely not lose in this war," Tsukasa declared suddenly much to Aira's surprise. He still did not understand English all too well but he was sure that word...
"Did... did you say war?" Aira asked. He was almost sure because in Knights' Lives, Tsukasa would sometimes refer to war when explaining strategies as an occasional emcee describing Duels they performed a bunch of times.
"Ah... yes. My passion got the better of me," Tsukasa said sheepishly, "I know you are a friend of Amagi-kun's and I don't mean any harm when declaring war, but it is simply a matter of academic rivalry."
Aira didn't know what exactly to say or feel when someone decides to take it up a notch by declaring war just for simple academic rivalry but he could understand the feeling of never wanting to lose and how things can escalate because of such a feeling.
Yet Aira was still curious and asked, "How did that exactly happen, Suou-senpai?"
As far as Aira knew, Tsukasa and Hiiro were in different classes so he couldn't really see them seriously competing each other on every quiz except for the more important exams in the school for the whole grade. Maybe whatever this war was already happened a long time ago after one of the exams for the whole grade but he wouldn't know for sure until he was told.
"Well," Tsukasa said, looking as if he were fishing for the words to explain the matter, "I really just hate losing. Amagi-kun... beat me in the last exam, and I have never tasted such bitter defeat before in academics so I wanted to confront Amagi-kun to know how he did it. How he got such perfect scores and well, his answer..."
Tsukasa looked a little confused just thinking about it. Aira understood the feeling. It was probably the same answer he was given himself when he asked a similar question to Hiiro about his grades. It was too genius that anyone else below that level wouldn't be sure how to respond.
"Amagi-kun told me that he just 'memorized all the answers for the questions that the teachers hinted would come out in the exams and wrote the data needed.' It was honestly so surprising that I thought he was joking but when I realized he wasn't, I can't help think whether he was some kind of genius."
Tsukasa then smiled, which surprised Aira considering the flow of the conversation, "But I'm sure that is what makes it worth battling Amagi-kun and it's something I can't wait for. Maybe I will even understand his answer one day when everything is all said and done."
"Suou-senpai... you are really fired up," Aira commented, noticing the apparent change in Tsukasa's demeanor, from someone calm and nearly stoic to someone burning with zeal and passion impatient to be released.
"Of course. I don't think it matters whether someone is a genius or not, or that there will always be someone better than you because why should I take that as it is? If there is someone better than me, I can always improve myself to become better than them. Even if I'm faced with geniuses, I would simply polish my own worth and then be a match for geniuses. One's limit can be as high as the sky if one wishes it to be," Tsukasa said in a passionate tone.
That... that is so inspirational. That is the power of an idol! Aira wondered where this wisdom was all along when he had always been down by his bad grades... by bad auditions and was on the verge of giving up on being an idol and a student in comparison to better... more genius idols and students than he ever would be.
Now, after many experiences thanks to ALKALOID, he had learned to stop comparing and understood the fact that the only one he should compare with is himself, growing from his past self and broadening his horizons but for his past self... it was words he took to heart and appreciated all the same.
'So idol-like~ So rabui~ I wonder when I could say such idol-like and inspiring things,' Aira thought, a little dreamily before snapping out of it and smiling at Tsukasa.
"I wish you the best of luck, Suou-senpai," Aira said as he continued digging into his lunch.
"Thank you, Shiratori-kun," Tsukasa said, "That reminds me... on occasions, I have seen you and Amagi-kun hold study sessions together in the library. If it's not too much to ask, may I join you?"
At first, Aira was startled by the sudden request coming out of the blue. Afterwards, he was startled that his and Hiiro's study sessions were discovered and noticed by someone even if they weren't hiding it but he didn't think anyone would pay attention and took note of it like this.
With all that coming about, Aira blurted out, "Where is this coming from, Suou-senpai?"
"Oh, was this too sudden?" Tsukasa asked, "I just remembered something like that, and since I am chatting with you now, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to ask you. That's all there is to it."
"Alright, Suou-senpai," Aira accepted the explanation easily, "I would love it if you come to our study sessions. I will inform Hiro-kun about it and once we agree on it, we can invite you to our next study session."
"Marvelous," Tsukasa said, smiling, "Thank you very much, Shiratori-kun."
"No problem," Aira answered in turn and then they continued chatting more light-hearted topics until the end of lunch. Of course, throughout it all, Aira still wondered why Tsukasa wanted to join in on those study sessions.
He was happy to have Tsukasa in, for he admired the Knights' new Ou-sama as a dedicated student who can help Aira in his academics as well as his idol otaku heart already planning to commit all his brain cells into absorbing whatever fluffy scenario that comes with having a study date with a fave idol.
However, he felt it altogether surprising about the sudden request, despite having accepted the lackluster explanation, considering Tsukasa sees Hiiro as a rival, even going so far as to call it war. So why study together with someone you are at war with? Unless...
Ah well, even if he did extensive research on idols with a few headcanons here and there, what did Aira know? This could either be a ploy to gain more information on Hiiro and understand his study techniques or the rivalry does not mean Tsukasa wouldn't let Hiiro help him so they can reach heights together. But those answers could both be wrong. There was also the fact of where Aira fit in this equation considering Tsukasa could simply ask Hiiro to form a study group together instead of joining with all three of them.
Maybe in time, Aira will come to know the answer.
***
As expected, Hiiro accepted Tsukasa's inclusion into their study group, deeming 'the more the merrier' and that was how the three found themselves in the library, poring over reference books and having two senpais instead of one helping Aira with what he did not understand. Right now, Tsukasa and Hiiro were helping each other with their own work that despite being in different classes, they both caught up to the same content for their year and are able to discuss it earnestly without one knowing less than the other.
As Aira watched the duo even when he should be buried in his own work, his mind flashed to the time he started having these kind of study sessions with Hiiro. Of course, it was Hiiro who had first suggested them which Aira had shot down, reeling from the fact that even in academics, Hiiro managed to get top grades despite all odds surprising many students and teachers in Yumenosaki (as expected of a genius in underachiever's clothing). Seriously, if someone like Hiiro was called an underachiever, what does that make Aira?
However, after various events which included learning a lot in Keito's Lecture with Hiiro, Feather Touch which changed his perspective about competing and comparing, the kinda annoying fact that Hiiro was as good as teaching Aira as Mayoi was good at coaching the rest of ALKALOID and how persistent Hiiro can be, he conceded to the study sessions and received good tutoring. Unfortunately, Aira couldn't return the favor to Hiiro since he's a year ahead in studies compared to Aira.
Now, with Tsukasa joining them, Hiiro would have a more mutual benefit with Tsukasa by helping each other, challenging each other and elevating each other in their studies. Not that studies really matter overall as you become successful in the idol industry and don't have to worry about anything... which unfortunately, Aira had yet to experience.
ALKALOID had a good thing going sure, but they are yet an experienced unit let alone the Big 3. Maybe one day but at least not in the present.
Hey, Aira could dream, couldn't he?
"Ah, so that's how you answer this question. Thank you, Tsukasa-kun," Hiiro said in a loud voice which Aira quickly shushed since they were in a library.
"Fufu, you are welcome," Tsukasa said in a quieter voice with a happier lilt. It seems that he's enjoying himself. Aira really wondered how Tsukasa would do during their study sessions but so far, everything had been relatively normal.
Maybe Tsukasa wouldn't outwardly act as a rival towards Hiiro. In any case, his brain cells were happy to have witnessed the study date scene with an idol that could be crossed off his bucket list and not so happy dedicating themselves to the books spread ahead of him.
In momentary distraction from his fleeting attention span out of the sheer boredom called study materials, Aira once again looked up at the scene he rather dedicate his brain cells to and thought:
"Suou-senpai and Hiiro-kun really make a good pair, huh?"
"Hmm, did you say something, Aira?" Hiiro asked.
Aira's thoughts immediately shattered at such a question, embarrassed that he actually said such a thought out loud. Luckily, it seemed that Hiiro didn't hear him.
But apparently, Tsukasa did with his surprised eyes directed towards him. Aira swallowed, deciding to pretend that he didn't see that and answered Hiiro, "Oh, it's nothing, Hiro-kun. I was just talking to myself."
Hiiro hummed and easily let go of the topic. Although it seemed that Tsukasa wanted to inquire more, he dropped it down too... not before one last long stare at him.
... What did that mean?
And yet nothing happened after that, so maybe it was nothing.
Until one day.
***
Since Tsukasa can be busy with Knights jobs or some kind of family business, his attendance to their study sessions could be fleeting at best but when he does come to them, he was a great help towards both ALKALOID members, as a schoolmate to Hiiro and a senpai to Aira. What Hiiro couldn't teach, Tsukasa picked up and admittedly, his grades got better.
Around that time, it had been a long period since he had last seen Tsukasa and the time that he had seen him again was not in their usual study session but in a lone training room.
Even in school, Aira would do everything in his power to train just so he can improve as an idol. With Yumenosaki being an idol training school, at least they have rooms to do idol training, and because ES training rooms can be booked to the max, it was easier to use the rooms in school which are less used after the big ES boom.
It's not as fancy as in ES but it still serves its purposes. Aira had been practicing his dance moves, trying to perfect the more tricky steps. He couldn't wait to show off to the rest of ALKALOID if he managed to master the dance moves on his own.
The music was still playing and he was in his own world so it wasn't right until the very end, when he twirled himself right to the sight of the door that he almost stumbled in shock. At least he managed to stick the landing.
But the shock in his eyes never left as he faced Tsukasa standing right out of the door, simply staring at Aira as the music finally faded to its final note.
"Suou-senpai..." Aira said, unable to say anything more than that.
Tsukasa broke the silence that came out of it immediately, saying, "This room is booked for Knights. I just came early to prepare a few things, so you didn't have to stop for my account."
And yet, Aira looked at his watch, shocked at how late it was. He was sure he went over the time he had actually planned to practice his dance. Although there was nothing important to do later other than just going back to the dorms for his usual R & R consisting of otaku activities that unwound him best, he didn't want to always go over the time if something like this happened...
How much did Tsukasa see? What did he think? Did he think that his dancing was mediocre like the underachiever he was? Would-
Aira snapped out of his thoughts before they would become more nonsensical and negative, realizing that he had also been standing and gaping at a mildly surprised and concerned Tsukasa for a while now when stewing in those thoughts. Flushed in embarrassment although he tried hard not to show it, he hurriedly packed up his things deciding it was high time to leave and let Tsukasa do his own thing.
But apparently, Tsukasa would not let Aira do his own thing.
"Shiratori-kun, you really didn't have to stop at my account," Tsukasa said out of the blue, "I don't mind if you continue your practice while I set up a few things on my side."
'Why...' Shiratori bit that question but instead said aloud, "Oh, it's no problem, Suou-senpai! I was about to end practice around this time anyway and you also need the room, right? I don't want to disturb you."
"Is that so?" Tsukasa asked, and did... did he just slump slightly?
"I was actually hoping I could see you dance again, since I only caught the end of it and thought..." Tsukasa said, maybe with mild disappointment and he would have no idea what he had unleashed with Aira's warring otaku and idol selves.
Otaku self: What? Suou-senpai, the Ou-sama of Knights wanted to see me dance again...! He... he loved my dancing? Ahhh, I don't know whether I should be embarrassed or happy but I want to dance just because he wants to see it so much. How can I disappoint an idol...?
Idol self: Why does he want to see me dance? We are from different units and different agencies. I also know that he has a high standing in both his unit and agency. What would he gain from seeing me dance? Does he want to-
Otaku self: Don't you dare even finish that thought! How dare you even suspect your beloved idol? And who cares if he's from a different unit and different agency? He's your beloved idol and all idols are rabui in their own ways, always helping others and even helping other idols. Idols are the stuff of dreams, not-
Idol self: Unfortunately, this is still reality. Knights is also... infamous for going to Duels with other units and I don't want to accidentally... give ammo. I'm not accusing anything, but I rather err on the side of caution! I'm no longer just an idol otaku. I'm an idol who needs to keep my job, my dream, my...
Well, that was about the extent of his inner arguments. Aira loved idols, don't get him wrong. Right now, his otaku self is kicking Aira for doubting idols but as much as it wasn't rabui to think of such, being an idol in the end was a job, a business and not just the stuff of dreams. He wanted to do well as an idol and although he would never go as far as seeing other idols as enemies, he was aware of Knights disposition with their Duels... so just in case.
If Aira's younger self knew this, he would cry but this is the unfortunate possibilities of reality, with extra cynicism from being in the abyss as an underachiever. Emphasis on extra cynicism since he seriously thinks like this at times, partially blaming this kind of awareness for the kind of friction between different agencies, what with rooming with two people who are high in the hierarchy when it comes to their respective agencies, even attending the fabled Idol Summit.
Aira knew it was not fabled by now, and he certainly did get a kick out of it whenever he saw fans with their conspiracy theories on SNS about it that were even disbelieved by the posters. If they ever realized that they have been Apollo-ing themselves...
Back to the point, Aira could count the number of times in one hand that he was 'silenced' by Eichi during one of their dorm room inclusive tea parties with Rei, just because Aira was toeing a line about their agency just from passionately rambling about idols... which he couldn't help, but still. In any case, it was experiences that he wanted to erase away from his memories. Now, it just left him even more cynical and cautious to the point that he was fretting over a request of his self-insert dreams...!
"Fufu... you look reluctant. Do you really not want to show me your dance? You are a lot more cautious than I thought, Shiratori-kun," Tsukasa commended.
"Thanks...?" Aira said, glad that he was not perceived as rude but confused how anyone would take it that way. It was easily explained by what Tsukasa had to say next.
"You don't have to look so confused. Tenshouin-onii-sama must have taught you well," Tsukasa said with a knowing smile, and from the immediate expression on Aira's face, he continued, "You don't have to look so surprised either. It is as expected of him, who is a higher-up in his own agency, a great senpai and an idol."
Sure, Aira was surprised by how Tsukasa did figure out that it was Eichi who was part of the reason why he was, as Tsukasa said, cautious but it was more the fact that Tsukasa called Eichi 'Tenshouin-onii-sama'. He knew that in Knights, as the youngest of the original before starting recruiting for more as a powerhouse unit, Tsukasa had the penchant to call his seniors his Onii-sama. He just did not expect that Eichi was included in such. This was 100% filed away in the 'idol tidbits' area of his brain, which was always getting huger by the second. If Aira's younger self knew he would be associated with such popular idols, he would never believe it and combust if proof was ever shown. Right now, Aira was just giddy with happiness.
While thanking his lucky stars, Tsukasa had once again given Aira some kind of look, one that Aira eventually noticed and recognized it similar as to the one given to him during their very first study session together.
"Is there anything wrong, Suou-senpai?" Aira asked, and Tsukasa broke out of it, as if he just realized he had been staring for too long and acted sheepish in light of it.
"No, I was thinking how it was a shame that I couldn't see the whole dance because from what I had seen, you certainly wouldn't disappoint. ALKALOID really is improving by leaps and bounds. I can't wait to see what heights you would reach to, maybe even enough to rise up your unit to battle us Knights. I look forward to that. Fufufu~"
Aira held his tongue that he couldn't imagine his unit let alone himself battling the Big 3 worthy Knights but appreciated the sentiment on his unit's possible potential even if it was based on the weakest member aka him.
Instead, he said, "Thank you for saying that, Suou-senpai. As a bunch of underachievers who were about to be fired last summer, it is a relief to hear from someone like you that my unit and I are improving leaps and bounds but it is a given that we would be working hard to achieve that result... especially me since the rest of them..."
Aira mumbled the rest of that but from the look of Tsukasa's face... he had heard it, although it might be his imagination, and mumbled in turn:
"I feel like I'm seeing more and more reason to Koha-kun's statement."
"Huh, did you say something, Suou-senpai?" Aira asked, not catching what Tsukasa had mumbled.
Tsukasa hesitated, as if he was unsure how to respond.
Little did Aira know, a few days or so before their surprising meeting where they shouted Hiiro's name in frustration, Tsukasa had met with Kohaku and insisted on hanging out with each other. As they had chatted, Kohaku's long time friend, Aira, had came up and it was what Kohaku said which would set off... whatever this is:
"Sometimes, it feels like I can see Rabu-han in ya, and ya in Rabu-han so that's why I let my guard down and said somethin' embarassin' like that. Stop smirking, forget I ever said that!"
Of course Tsukasa did not forget and he was going to treasure the 'embarrassing' statement for himself. What struck him was the mention of Aira, when he asked further on the nickname and got the actual name.
Questions such as the similarities between him and Aira, how Kohaku was able to let his guard down around him and the fact that if it was Aira, he might be the first to hear any 'embarrassing' things about Kohaku.
Which was unfair because as Kohaku's Onii-sama, he wanted to be the first person to hear anything from Kohaku.
So, from then on, when they had met the way they did, Tsukasa had planned it out as a double agenda, not only trying to gain some upper hand on Hiiro for his war and to hang out with Aira so he could know him better.
And the more he knew Aira...
Aira did not know what was happening throughout Tsukasa's thought process, but was curious what he would eventually say and when he did...
"Shiratori-kun, other than those study sessions, I would like to hang out with you more. Koha-kun and Tori-kun have told me that you know a lot of good cafes out there with delicious dessert. I am interested about any recommendations you could give me..."
At that time, it was such a leap from their previous conversation that it would have befuddled any other person but for Aira, he was practically screaming inside to not let his dessert expertise go to waste and enjoy a cute cafe date scenario with an idol. He had no reason to refuse.
And Aira would never know that Tsukasa suggested that so he could get closer to the younger kouhai as well as giving himself an excuse to enjoy sweets.
From then on, Aira and Tsukasa would hang out a lot, becoming more than acquaintances and into friends bonded by Hiiro, Kohaku, sweets, their units and their potentials the more they chatted.
It would also be some time afterward that he would get even a hint of a reason for why Tsukasa had initiated this relationship with Aira once he approached him asking for a favour...
But that was a story for another time.
A/N: At first, I really thought the Aira-Kasa alliance would become the anti-Hiiro alliance, not out of vindication but out of pure exasperation a himbo (Hiiro can be described as such, among other characters that have held such a tittle) could give to more straight-laced people with an inflated common sense (not exactly an accurate description of Aira and Kasa but just a bit of that personality... really, a bit). However, the narrative spiraled over time that such a thing did not fit and left with somethings of a beginning of friendship with mutual benefits, something that could also be called alliance in its own way although I'm kind of unsure. Unfortunately, I'm just too lazy to change a chapter title that I'm attached to, so there you go~ Also, as you should know by now, the bold lettering is when Tsukasa speaks in English out of the blue (since they were all speaking Japanese but a lot of fics and even the game is translated to English because, well... us but you know in real life, it's 100% Japanese so...). Congrats to anyone who had figured that out already~
