I open the door with my keys to see a girl already sleeping in there in one of the beds.

I silently, walk across her to my bed, keep my luggage on side and go to the bathroom to change.

I changed into my PJ top and sweatpants and put on my specs. I opened the door and felt a sudden pain striking my head.

"Ahhhh...", I shout in pain and shut my eyes.

I open my eyes to see the girl carrying heavy books in her hand with an innocent face.

"Oh...So sorry. I didn't know you were a girl", she speaks, terrified. "Are you my roommate?"

"Yeah..I thought so." I say, rubbing my head.

"I'm so sorry for that."

"It's okay, anyways it was just a book."

"But still I'll make it up to you."

I just smile to her.

"By the way, I'm Alexis."

"Bernice."

In the morning I wake up due to the sunlight coming from the window, falling at my face.

"Morning Berry." she chirpes. "Can I call you that?"

"Yeah, sure." I say to her, still half asleep.

"Get ready, we have to go cafeteria to do breakfast."

"Okay."

So I take a hot shower and wore a pair of black high-waist jeans, blue and white stripped crop top, dumping my hair into a bun and putting in my glasses. Not wanting to put much effort to my face, I just apply a coat of pink lip gloss. I'm a nerd now.

"I'm ready." I say with enthusiasm.

"Okay, than let's go." she said, ready to move.

We reached the cafeteria and sit at a table of five where three students were already seated. Two faces were similar.

"Bernice!", Hayden exclaimes with surprised expression.

"Hi, Hayden", I reply.

"Hey, Bernice", Diana says, noticing me. "Nice to see you again."

"Likewise", I greet with a smile.

"Seems to me that you all know each other already. So, no need for me to introduce." Alexis says while rolling her eyes and taking her seat.

"Hey, I'm lost." The girl squeales sitting with us at the table.

"Keep your voice low. My eardrums will burst out." Diana scolds her while her both hands on her ears.

"Oh...am sorry." She apologizes with her puppy face. "By the way, my name's Jenny."

"Bernice, as you already heard them." I say while shaking her
hand.

I take my hand back and start eating the sandwich as Alexis speaks, "Today is Saturday, from Monday our new session starts. I'm so excited."

"Yeah, only you like waking up early in the morning." Hayden says monotonously.

"I'm also not a morning person." I sit in an exhausted way.

"But we'll get to see hot guys!", Jenny exclaims suddenly with excitement.

"Oh My God! I forgot that college boys are super hot!", Alexis says in the same way as that of Jenny.

Hayden clears his throat,"Ahem... Calm down your tits girl. Don't start this topic again. Atleast not in front of me." He then gets engaged in his phone.

"You are so boring. Never wanted a brother like you." Alexis said annoyingly.

Wait. What.. They both are are brother and sister??

I had a questioned look on my face.

"Don't make that face, you got it right. They are siblings. Hayden is one year senior then us. I and Alexis are besties since high school and Diana is also one year senior."

My mouth is in the shape of 'O', trying to process the information.
