California - Dzeko ft. Brynn Elliott

Thank God, I wasn't late or I would have missed my flight.

So here I am, in California, breathing its air and fresh breeze.

I sat inside the taxi and stopped in front of a huge campus where I will be attending classes for next few years.

OMFG!! It's such a big campus. Although my high school was also a big one, but, this is even bigger.

I walked inside the campus and to the office to take my dorm keys and show them my letter.

I enter the office. There is a middle aged women, having dark hair with a few white in between, wearing pencil skirt reaching a little below her knees and red plaided shirt above it. I go to her to ask for my dorm keys and show letter of acceptance.

She saw me from head to feet with an unimpressed expression and handed me keys. I took the keys and stepped out of office.

What's wrong with my look?

I'm wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans, a red tank top with a black flannel and my specs.

People and their stereotypes.

Well, unfortunately, I should not be the one to say this statement.

So my room no. is 567 in Wing C. As if I know where is Wing C. I am already tired from this long journey. Maybe I should ask someone. It's such a big campus. Every student should be given a personal map.

Oh, there is a girl and a boy, might as well ask them.

I tap on the shoulder of the boy and say, "Excuse me."

The boy and the girl turn to face me.

"Yes?", the boy says. He has a very heavy voice. He has highlights of blonde at the ends with natural dark brown hair at the roots. His body seems to be perfectly worked out as his bicipes are bulging out a little from his white shirt that he is wearing with black ripped jeans. His eyes are of blue colour with a ring of dark blue outside it which compliments his tanned bright skin. He is also quite tall, of about 6'1", think so.

Suddenly he waves his hand in front of my face.

"Need any help?", he says with a smirk planted on his face.

Oh God! I didn't notice I was staring at his features the whole time while he was expecting me to reply.

"Uh-um-I-uh-am new here. Soo... I needed to know where is Wing C." I reply with hesitation, looking at him, wanting for answer.

"Well, you are lucky, I was heading there only," the girl says whom I hadn't faced yet. She has dark complexion with dark brown eyes , black hair and full glossy lips. Her face is so perfect with high cheekbones.

I am again staring. STOP IT, Bernice. Give your eyes some rest or they'll think you are a creep. Which I already am. Duh.

What can I do, I appreciate beauty. (My new habbit)

"Is there something on my face?! ", she asks frowning.

"No. No, I'm new here, so I feel a little uncomfortable in talking to the people I don't know." Whewhh.I manage to make up something.

"We can introduce ouselves, It's no biggie. Hi, I'm Diana." She extended her hand towards me and smiles.

"Hi, I'm Bernice." I shook her hand.

"And this creature over here is Hayden." She looked at the boy and then at me.

But the boy was giving her that ' I-could-have-introduced-me-to-her-much-properly' look

I giggle at Hayden's expression.

These two are interesting. I like them already.

"So let's get going," she chirped." I'll take you to Wing C. Just hope we have rooms near to each other." Woah.. She sounds much more excited 'bout my room then me.

I followed her to the large building as Hayden walked to another direction parting from us.

"Hey Diana," says a female voice from behind as we entered the building and we stopped on our way. "Where are you going? I need your help!"

Diana rolled her eyes and cursed  under her breath. "Coming," then she looked at me. "I'm sorry to leave you like this, but, have to go. Some ugly bitch is calling me. See you soon. Bye."

"Bye." I said with disappoint-ment.

Sigh!! okay...so now I have to find my room alone.

I climbed up the stairs and reached the third floor. Don't know why I came to the third floor, just got the feeling that my room might be here.

And surprisingly, yes it is.

A/N : Hi guys, I warned you, first few are fillers. You would be thinking that ' Wow, first time the book starts with fillers'. But what can I do, everything has a first time and anyways it's my story, my rules.
I promise that the fourth chapter will not be a filler. From there the main part starts. Just keep reading.
