I am at the airport, ready to board my flight for California.

But..

Stuck here to listen the good-bye speech and 'does and don'ts list' by my parents.

Do I mind? Yes...No..It doesn't matter cause they'll not leave me until they are done with it.

"Eat your meals at time", my mother  says."Go to your cla-"

"-go to your classes on time, don't stay out late from your dorm, make good friends and lastly," I sigh, "don't show up your old self. "

Mom looks at me with happy eyes and gives that 'good-girl-appreciation' smile.

"You have given this speech to her, at least a hundered times. She can handle herself, Grace. Don't worry." My dad says and then looks at me. "...she can manage her life. She is eighteen now."

"I know", mom says," It's just-I don't want to loose her again and I'll never get used to that fact."

Mom starts to cry. Argghh...she knows I can't see her cry. It makes me cry even worse.

"Mom don't cry, I'll come to see you in vacations", I say while tears are about to spill out of me eyes.

"Okay I won't. I just hope that these days pass by in no time." Mom says, her crying face replaced with a cheerful smile. I don't know how she does that, which always shocks me.

I hear the annoucement and I am starting to collect my bags when my dad says," Hey kiddo, don't forget to use protection everytime you sleep."

What did he just say??

"Dad, you know I won't do any such thing. How can you...anyways, I'm getting late. Bye mom. Bye dad." I kiss them on their cheeks and leave.

"Bye sweetie," Mom says and my dad just waves at me with a smile for the statement he said. I glare at him and then leave.
