You and Fresh were picked as partners for a science project. You were ok with this, but your parents weren't. They always wanted you home by 3:30 to study. The only reason why they allowed you to go to Fresh's house was the promise you made. That'd you'd study there.

Today you both were done and it was storming. You had to stay the night since it was too dangerous for you to walk or your parents to drive you. Fresh was getting a snack when he saw you at the kitchen table with tons of textbooks in front of you.

Fresh noticed you were grilling your hair and breathing heavily. He quickly trotted in as tears landed on your notebook. "(Y-Y/n)?" Fresh said as he used the tips of his fingers to tub your back. You closed your eyes as you whimpered.

Fresh frowned and kept rubbing your back while he slowly moved the textbooks and notebook away from you. "(Y/n), it's almost nine o' clock. You need sleep." Fresh said calmly. You looked at Fresh, red puffy eyes, before nodding. Fresh opened his arms out before you hugged him.

Fresh urshed you out of the kitchen and into his room. Luckily his mom allowed you to borrow some pjs (0-0) for the night. "Night you two." Fresh's mom said. "Night!" You both said. "No having se-" You both didn't hear Fresh's dad finish since his mom closed the door.

Fresh climbed into bed as you shyly crawled in as well. "So, why were you studying so much?" Fresh asked ad he gave you a pillow. "M..my parents want me to go to t..the best college s..so they make me study..." You answered. Fresh rubbed your arm before you looked at him.

Fresh smiled before he kissed your nose. "It'll be ok. When you're here, you don't need to study. It'll be our secret." Fresh whispered. You nodded before hugging Fresh. Fresh hugged you back before you both went to sleep as the storm blew outside.
