Grayson's POV

Wedding day.

This is it. This is now. She's going to be officially my wife. I'm really nervous but I can't wait for her to be Mrs. Dolan.

There's only around 80 people, yet I feel like there's a whole city watching me.
The music starts to play and I can't stop shaking. Especially when I finally see her.
Standing there, in a white dress. She looks heavenly pretty. Her long brown hair styled in a bun with a flower crown. And a bouquet of red roses in her hands.
She's slowly walking towards me, holding her dad's arm.

She finally lifts her head up, and our eyes meet. I can't believe she's here, now, with me.
She's finally standing in front of me and his dad takes her hand and put it in mine.
She smiled and it's like the world stopped.
I try to think of words to describe her, but I can't. I have no words. I am left speechless.

"Gray? Gray!" I heard and I shook my head. Vanessa was looking at me laughing. "You're crying."
She said as she wiped my tears away with her thumbs.

"Y-yeah sorry, you just look... So beautiful and I-"

"Shh- you look handsome as always." She smiled holding my hand tightly in hers.

"Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and 
to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly 
care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand 
together, through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all 
the days of your lives?" The priest asked.

"We do." We both said as we both looked in each others eyes.

"Do you pledge to share your love and the joys of your marriage with 
all those around you, so that they may learn from your love and be 
encouraged to grow in their own lives?"

"We do."

"May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as 
either of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of 
this moment, but also of the vows you have made and the strength of 
your commitment to each other."

Veronica came closer to us, as she has the rings.

"Vanessa, please repeat after me...
« I Vanessa, promise to love and support you Grayson and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this 
ring I thee wed.»"

Vanessa takes my hand gently as she repeated the vow and placed the ring on my finger.

"Grayson, please repeat after me..."

It's my turn to take Vanessa's hand as I repeated the vow. I slowly take her hand without breaking eye contact and slowly place the ring on her finger.

"Go now in peace and live in love, sharing the most precious gifts you have- the gifts of your lives united. And may your days be long on this earth. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priests ended his speech, smiling and taking a step back.

I stared deep into Vanessa's eyes as I leaned in and slowly kissed her.
Everyone started clapping and cheering.

"Vanessa Jo Merrell, you're the best thing that ever happened to me. I didn't think it would be possible to love someone this hard. They say falling in love for a reason. And I fell so damn hard for you. But I'm happy you catched me in the fall."

"Wait wait! Before these two do the first dance, I'd like to say something!" Roni said, taking the mic.

"I wanted to start off by thanking everyone for coming to be apart of their special day, as well as Sean and Lisa, Grayson's dad, and our parents for helping and making today possible. For those of you who don’t me, I'm Veronica, Vanessa's sister and Maid of Honour.

I’ve known Vanessa for the past- how old are we? Oh yeah, for the past 25 years. We know more about each other than we probably care to. We’ve laughed together, cried together, laughed until we've cried and have inside jokes that only we find funny. We’ve been there for each other through some of the hardest times in our lives, and have been grateful to experience some of the best years of our lives, together. I’ve had the opportunity to watch her grow, change and evolve into the wonderful woman that sits before us today, and I am honored to call her my sister. She is smart, generous and caring. She has a heart of gold, and an innate sense of good that she is willing to stand behind. She puts thought, effort and dedication into everything she does, and I know Vanessa will approach her new role as a wife in the same way.

Grayson, I can’t thank you enough for making Nessa so happy. You are smart, compassionate, loyal and funny and it is with comfort knowing she will always have you by her side. You are everything and more that I could’ve hoped for, for my sister.

Before this moment you have been many things to each other. You have laughed, cried, matured and have become stronger together. Today is not only a celebration of where you are now and the road ahead, but the road that has brought you here. John Lennon said «A dream you dream alone is a dream. A dream you dream together, that is reality and that reality starts right now».
Everyone please raise your glass with me to toast to the new Mr. and Mrs. Dolan. Congrats!"

"- and I'll forever be proud of my little baby girl. Whatever she does. She will always be my little girl. I love you Vanessa." My dad said and I smiled as I tried not to cry. I came to him and hugged him tightly.

"I'm not good at making speeches, toasts or whatever it is I'm doing. But I want to say something. This is for my someone special, that should've been here today.
Dad, I... I miss you. So much. Every day. I'll always feel like a part of me is missing, because there is. You're missing. And I wished you stayed longer to see me, to see us grow. I wanted you to be there today, watch me get married. See how beautiful Vanessa looked in this dress. I wanted you to be there when we'll found out we're going to be parents.
But I know you're watching us right now, and I know you're proud of me.
This is for you dad."

Vanessa's POV

"Go dance with gray. But save me the next dance." My dad said, as everyone was waiting for the first dance.

"Okay dad." I laughed before taking Grayson's hand.

We were in the middle of the room, everyone around us.
I placed my hands around Gray's neck as he placed his on my waist. We started slow dancing.

"This feels so unreal." I said, staring in his eyes.

"But it is real." He smiled. "I can't believe it is."

"I can't believe we're married. You're my husband."

"And you're Mrs. Dolan." He laughed before kissing my nose.

I placed my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. We've come so far but here we are. Finally.
I tried to hug him closer to me, but we both laughed as I couldn't.

"This baby's not born, yet he's already getting between us." We both laughed. "I can't wait to see him, or her."

"Me too, Nessa. Me too." He said, kissing my forehead.

I have no words to describe what I'm feeling right now. I'm feeling so happy and it makes me feel like something bad is about to come. There's always more.

"What are you thinking about?" Gray asked, making me shook my head.

"uh- our honeymoon" I smirked.

"oh yeah?" He smirked before winking at me.

"We're going to travel the world," he said before continuing, "I'm serious." he smiled.

"We came back from tour not long ago!"

"Yeah but now it's just the two of us, and we deserve to get away for a while after everything that's happened to us" his eyes were shining.
"first, we're going to Paris. I booked a five stars hotel with a view on the Eiffel tower that we're going to visit the next day." he whispered in my ear.

"And then?" I smiled.

Soon, the slow was over and I started dancing with my dad.

"I'm so proud of you, Vanessa."

"Daaad, stop."

"No, really. Seeing the beautiful woman you've become."

"I remember when you were little-"

"Can you not- please." I laughed.

"Okay, okay. You know I feel really old now. You're married, having a baby. I feel like I'm 60."

"C'mon dad, you're not that old. Just look at Veronica, do you feel younger?"

"So how is it going with Roni?" I asked Ethan as we were dancing.

"It's great."

"Do you love her?" I asked.

"uh Yes, why?" he was confused.

"Why don't you propose to her then? Or maybe just propose to move in together? I'm sure she would love that."

"You think so? I feel like she has been ignoring me recently."

"Yeah, she talked to me about that."

"So you know what's wrong? Please tell me cause I'm so confused and I don't know what to do anymore to make her happy."

"I don't know if I can tell you... okay, she thinks you're cheating!" I said, closing my eyes, scared of his reaction.

he just started laughing, "what?"

"That's just insane. Why would I cheat on her when she's the best thing that ever happened to me?"

"Really? So you're not?"

"Of course I'm not cheating! Who do you think I am?" he laughed, "well guess I'm off to look for her.

I half smiled at him, feeling like something's wrong.
