Vanessa's POV

I woke up feeling a presence besides me. I squinted my eyes because of the rising sunlight. It took me a few seconds to recognize Ethan.

"Hey! Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up or scare you."

"Hi. No, that's okay. What time is it?"

"Eight o'clock. I was going to make breakfast when I saw you outside. Did you sleep here?"

"No, not totally." I yawned as he laughed.

"Well, wanna get breakfast with me?" he said, offering his hand to help me get up.

"Hm, sure." I took his hand and let go once I was up. I started walking inside, but something felt weird. I couldn't tell what.

"Are you okay?" Grayson said as we were walking on the beach, holding hands.

I frowned, "No. I mean yes I'm fine. Why?"

He stopped, "It looks like something's bothering you."

"I didn't sleep that well. That's all."

"You would tell me if there was anything?" He framed my face with his hands.

"Of course," I smiled, pecking his lips.

"Wanna go home and get some rest?"

I shook my head, "no, I want ice cream."

He laughed, "okay, let's go."

He smiled and we went to get ice-cream.

I was still considering Australia. I mean, would it be wrong if we left everyone behind just so we could have some alone time?

We were back at home, I was laying on the bed while Grayson was trying to get to TV to work since I guess nobody used it since we've last been here 1 year ago.

I heard him curse, shaking his hand.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"My finger got stucked." he says, before trying again.

This time it works. The TV was turned on and showed the president of the us.

"ugh, turn it off."

"Why? I almost died to turn this TV on." He says. And they say Ethan is the extra one.

I rolled my eyes before grabbing the remote off the nightstand and going through the channel.

"I'm gonna make some coffee. Want some?"

"No thanks." He smiled as I got up to leave the room.

As I was making coffee my phone buzzed.

I took my cup of coffee and went back to the room where Grayson was watching some cartoons.

"Really gray?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"What? You're never too old to watch cartoons." He said, smiling like a child.

"Yeah, but maybe we could do something our age." I smirked, placing my cup on the nightstand.

"Like what?"

We stayed like this for a few minutes before I felt him get up.

"Shower," he says, not bothering to put on some clothes.
"Come with me?"
