Today is the last day of 2017. Which means I will see Vanessa in a few hours.
It was not a big party, just me, Eth, the girls and maybe 9-10 others persons.
We all know each other so it's gonna be cool. I can't wait.

I heard my phone vibrate, signaling I have a notification.

We have to leave in an hour to go to the warehouse with Roni. I am in front of my closet, trying to find something classy but casual to wear.

hey! I'm sorry I haven't texted you ALL day, we were busy decorating the warehouse.
I just wanted to tell you to bring a swim suit :)

I smiled at the last part and replied to him.

I plug my phone back so it can charge and tried to find a swimsuit. how am I supposed to find one, it's winter..

I was finally ready. We have to leave in 5 minutes.

This is simple, but you can never go wrong with black.

I finished my last minute retouch and went downstairs to meet Roni at the door.

"Ready to go?" She asks, and I nod. Our parents went to Las Vegas to spend New year's Eve at our family's place. They asked us to stay here, and spend time with our friends.

We just arrived to the warehouse and Gray and Ethan are there to welcome us.

"Hey girls! You look beautiful." Grayson said, to the both of us. Ethan compliments us as well and we all went inside.

I have to admit, they did a pretty good job. I'm even surprised they did this alone.

"Woah, this look like a totally different place!" I said, turning and looking around, "did you do this all alone?"

"Yeah," he smiled, "well we kinda asked for help but yeah."

I nodded and waited for the rest to arrive.

2 hours later

We are having so much fun. They removed the trampoline and replaced it with a sort of dance floor so we were all dancing. One of our friend was DJ so he was taking care of the music. A few more people came along so we are around 16-20 persons. But the more people there are, the more fun we have, right?

I stopped dancing and went to grab a drink. Champagne. There was not a lot of alcohol since the twins don't like drinking. Just enough to get in the spirit. But not enough to be drunk so we all had clear minds.

I sat at the table watching them dancing while I drank from my cup. I got scared when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see Grayson.

"You scared me!" I said, pouting.

"Oops, sorry." He said, taking a sit next to me. "So are you having fun?"

"Yeah, I just needed a break. It's really hot in there."

He stares at me with a smile. "Wanna get some fresh air?"

"Sure." I smiled as I take the hand he was offering me. His hand was warm and soft. We went outside and the cold air hit my face, feeling like a hundred needles were piercing my skin.

"Hold on," he said as he took off his jacket and put it over my shoulders, "there." He smiled.

"Thank you." I smiled back.

"I think Ethan is into Veronica."

"Really?" I asked and he nodded.

"I just don't feel like she likes him, more than a friend I mean."

"yeah, Roni has always been like that," I said as he shot me a confused look, "she's a heartbreaker. But she's not doing it on purpose."

"I don't wanna see my brother hurt." He said, sadness in his voice. "He has been hurt so many times before."

"Maybe you should talk to him, and I'll talk to Veronica. Just to make sure." I said and he nodded.

"Let's go back inside." He said, holding my hand as we go back inside.

I am excited for 2018. I really hope this year treats us all well. Roni and I have a lot of projects for our YouTube channel. New series, a new song.. I am excited to share that.

"30 seconds left of 2017!" Nick says, the DJ.

Everyone start screaming and I can't feel my ears anymore.
I try to find Veronica or Grayson in the crowd until I make eye contact with him. My heart starts beating faster as we both walked to each other. It's like every voices, every noises were fading as we were getting closer.

"3,2,1" I hear people say.

We were now only inches away and he smiled at me. He cups my face with his hands and leans in. I felt his hot breath against my lips until I felt his lips. His lips were warm, and soft. And they felt like they were shaped to go along with mine.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone said as the same time as me and Grayson pulled away and smiled at each other before hugging everyone.
