[7] 20. CAS IS A VIRGIN

A/N

Mature content I guess? They talk about some I guess PG to PG-13 things. But tbh, these are some things that happen in the show, so if you need to be warned about a vague brushing of the subject then you shouldn't be reading this book or watching the show. 😂😂😂

"Finally!" Dean shouted, an elated smile on his face. We were sitting at a diner, waiting on Sam. Our motel was luckily two blocks away, so while Sam finished washing his luscious hair, we sat down for coffee.

"Finally what?" I asked, brushing against Castiel's shoulder. "We've got a case! I guess this town isn't useless," He said, pausing. "And not just any case; a good ol' salting and burning," he smiled. "Excuse me?" I asked, looking at Cas.

We had been in Georgia tracking a werewolf pack, and finally took them out last week. As a reward, Sam suggested a small vacation. But after two days, Dean had become bored out of his mind. "He's found a ghost case," Cas whispers to me, clearing things up. "oh... Oh!" I smiled, but with a thought, it quickly fell.

"Hey," Sam said, plopping down next to Dean. "We've got a-" Cas started, but Sam held a hand up. "Dean already texted me, I'm aware," Sam turned to his brother, "it's Valentine's Day though?" He commented. "Yeah I know, we can multitask," Dean suggested. "Multitask? It's not like we have valentines," I told him, scoffing.

Sam laughed as Dean slyly smirk. "Dean doesn't do valentines," Sam explained. I groaned, crossing my arms and sinking down into the booth. "Ever wonder why those women are single?" I wrinkled my nose, to which Dean peered up at me.

"Like you?"

"I will destroy you Winche-"

"Can I take your order?" An elderly waitress asked, smiling down at us with a wrinkly smile. "Just some toast all around," Sam ordered for us. She nodded, before looking all of us up and down. "So who's the lucky man?" She asked. "The lucky who?" Cas answered.

"The lucky man that gets this lovely lady on Valentine's Day?" She chuckled, and I almost got up and left. "No one," I replied, before any of the boys- Dean- could find a way to make a joke of this. "Well that's a shame..." She said simply, before walking off. "I hate this holiday..." I grumbled. Dean looked over at Sam. "I love this holiday,"

We sat in still silence for a short time being, munching on oranges, drinking coffee, and reading the papers. That was, until Cas cleared his throat. "I know what Valentine's Day is, but what is the concept? I don't really understand,"

We looked up from what we were doing, to raise an eyebrow at Castiel. "Basically, it's a holiday dedicated to love," Dean said, shrugging. Cas rolled his eyes, "yeah I know that part, but what's the point?" He said. Sam nibbled on a pen he had been using to write notes on at the table. "Well, a lot of times its used to confess love. So, if they know or not, it's almost like a day dedicated to showing how much you love them. Flowers, cards, dinner-"

"-getting laid," Dean added, to which Sam rolled his eyes. "Yeah, in some cases,"

Once again I wrinkled my nose, but Dean seemed to tense. "What's that face?"

"What face?"

"That face,"

I glanced toward Cas in confusion. Sam raised worried eyebrows at his brother, the sun from the window lighting up half of his face. "You're not a virgin are you?" He asked slowly. I sighed, "no, I'm not. Come on Dean, I've been around the block," I chuckled, taking a sip of coffee. "Anyways, I think it's safe to say that none of us are virgins,"

At my words I felt Cas shift beside me, and I turned to him with wide eyes. "Well," Dean said, to which Castiel glared. "Dean!" He exclaimed in a low voice, my jaw dropping. "Cas is," Dean got out. "CAS IS A VIRGIN,"

A low chuckle emanated from my throat, "no way! Angel ass hasn't gotten laid?" I murmured, a small smile on my lips. "How do you know this?" Sam said, turning to Dean. "He's told me," Dean said nonchalantly. "What the hell are you guys talking about?" Sam laughed, in which I joined him.

Still not over the fact that Castiel here was the 'purest' out of all of us, I let out a low whistle. "Sorry, I just can't believe it," I chuckled, shaking my head. "Why not?" He asked, glancing at me nervously. I pondered what he said, stuttering. When Sam and Dean gave me sly looks, I composed myself. "You picked a pretty good looking vessel, you're smart, strong, kind," I paused, "and you have a really good heart," I finished, trying to ignore the ecstatic looks from Dean.

"Have you ever, had someone?" I said, not sure how to word it. Castiel slowly nodded, "once," he said, "and it's complicated," he told me. I looked over to the Winchesters for help, sipping my drink. "It was with a demon," Sam admitted, and I choked on my coffee. "Really Cas?" I murmured, feeling a tinge of jealousy.

Castiel can have...relations, with a demon! But, when we met, I was an abomination? I gritted my teeth, not only at Cas's relationship, but at the mention of a demon.

They still had no idea what had happened in hell. The only idea that I gave them, was the notion that Crowley just wanted to "meet". Not having been told that I knowingly stabbed Dean in the heart.

It would be stupid to say they didn't suspect anything though. I was extremely distant from Dean, and he was beginning to notice. It was sometimes hard to look him in the eyes, because all I would see was the memory of them dead and glassy.

"I usually don't say this, but maybe you should follow deans advice. Go find some chick," I shrugged, wincing at my harsh tone. Why was I getting so worked up over this? "Isn't the point of sex to do it with someone you love?" He asked curiously. I turned away, "if you have someone," I murmured.

I couldn't stand the awkward silence, so I cleared my throat and stood up. "I-I'll be right back,"

I abruptly stood up, glancing back at Castiel to see someone talking to the boys, a hand on Cas's shoulder. I quickly jogged to the bathroom. My hands leaned on the cheap plastic counter as I stared into the stained mirror. I brushed my fingers through my long brown hair. "What the hell is this?" I whispered, shaking my head.

Pull. It. Together. Mahogany.

Come on! An guy? An angel? Oh universe you will not play this game with me. I refuse to become some teenage melodrama!

I triumphantly smiled to myself; or I tried. Instead an unsure, strained expression pained my face. "Good enough," I murmured. Cringing at the strange smells, I pushed open the bathroom door.

On my way to the table, I crashed into the dark haired man who had been talking to the boys. "Oh, sorry!" I said to him. "No problem, your checks on the table," he told me, before walking away. I assumed he was the waiter.

"So, Winchester. How do you know this case is ghost?" I asked, sitting down. "I checked out the place this couple was killed-"

"Of course you did," Sam muttered.

"-EMF went nuts," he told me, waving his arms. "We're back baby!" He said in childlike excitement. "Don't pull a muscle, hot stuff," I chuckled. He winked at me, making me laugh even more. "You're an ass," I told him, shoving him as soon as we all stood up.

"So Cas, you sticking around for this one?" Sam asked, opening the door. Castiel nodded, "yeah. I have nothing else to do," he shrugged, "and I am a hunter in training," he pointed out. I slowly nodded, "let's see what you got,"

*******

"Youch..." I muttered discreetly, fixing the collar of my blazer. Dean and I had gone to the morgue to investigate the bodies, while Sam and Cas did research on urban ghost stories from the town. Cringing at the stab wounds straight to the heart, I circled the two bodies. "And these aren't the only ones?" Dean asked the doctor.

The woman shook her head, "no, 'fraid not," she said, taking out a file. "There was another young couple, teenagers. Same exact things with the hearts ripped out," she explained, making my eyebrows raise. "Hearts ripped out?" I asked, Dean narrowing his eyes. "Yup," she answered, quickly walking away to get another file.

"Maybe werewolves?" I suggested, "we were tracking them here,"

Dean shook his head, "no... We took those all out. And the lunar cycle is off, just finished-" he abruptly stopped when the short woman came back. "Were the hearts missing?" Dean asked. "No, we've got them right here," she said, leading us to some containers. "Knock yourselves out," she told us, before strutting away.

Dean cleared his throat, his low voice grumbling as it opened the heart filled boxes.

His sneer turned into a goofy grin, as he held it out to me. "Be my valentine?" He chuckled, to which I rolled my eyes. "Focus, dork," I chuckled, inspecting the bodies.

"Got the EMF?" I asked, looking at the 'stab' wounds, if you could call it that. I don't know who the hell thought that this was done my any weapon capable of stabbing, but it looked more like a hand grabbed through the flesh and ripped out the heart with pin point like nails. "Yeah..." Dean grunted, looking around before discreetly pulling out a small device. I raised an eyebrow at his makeshift device. "Is that... Is that a freaking walkman?" I said incredulously. Dean gave me a cheeky grin, "My EMF is of my own creation," He said proudly. "I can tell, Thriller," I mumbled, as he turned it on.

Red lights began to flash along with a fluctuating pitch. "Hot damn," Dean muttered, pulling out the other Vics bodies. "They flashing up too?" I asked, inspecting the hearts. "Mhm," He nodded, just as I squinted my eyes. "what the hell..." I muttered, ushering Dean over. "Look at that- what is it?" I asked him.

A small symbol was etched into the heart. it was a triangle on its side connected to a line, like a flag. Another diagonal line was under it. "Is that a brand?" I murmured, glancing over at Dean. "Yup, but not like one I've ever seen. Closest one I've come to was a..." He trailed off, snapping a picture of the design. I cleared my throat in warning as I saw a figure approach through the glass wall. "Let's roll," Dean said.

******

"That's just weird," I grimaced, raising a defined eyebrow. I leaned against the Burgundy coated walls of the motel, shaking my head. "Yup," Sam popped, reading on, "according to this sealed file I got, the couple had been having 'sexual intercourse' minutes before death," Sam said, spinning around.

"They had sex," Castiel cleared up, making Dean glance at him slowly. "Not only did they die, but their sex was interrupted, and then they died," Dean said, narrowing his eyes. "I admire your priorities," I sarcastically smiled. "And what about the teenagers? The second couple?" I asked, walking towards Sam.

The mouse clicked a few times, before a new file popped up. "So get this, the teenagers didn't have sex, but they were involved in a heavy make out session in some cheap motel," he read, chuckling.

"How would they have known that?" Cas asked, squinting his sapphire eyes. Sam chuckled some more, "the pervy owned put cameras in each of the rooms,"

I don't know what caused it, but simultaneously, Dean and I glanced our eyes across the room. Cas and Sam shared a look, "you guys got something to hide?" He asked, a smug smile on his lips.

"No," we said in unison, much to quickly. "Yes..." Once again in unison.

Cas blushed, eyes skittering away. "Oh come on! I don't know about Dean, but I mean I don't want some 60 year old watching me change while he switches out his dentures," he hurriedly tried to defend.

"Yeah, well that would make sense," Dean cleared his throat. We all states awkwardly at him. "That Maggie is uncomfortable with older men watching her change?" Cas asked confusedly. Dean rolled his eyes, "Maggie and I found carves in the hearts of the vics. But, they weren't something we've seen before," he explained, pacing the room.

"I think we've got a rogue Cupid,"
