Raziel

"Jace has interfered after I have warned him. He went around me by having himself de-runed and has quit the Clave. Now he is with Clary and helped her regain her memories. Before she saw Jace, she thought they were just dreams."

"You underestimated Jace and Clary. They are bonded in a way that no one including you, can separate them. You took away Clary's memories, Raziel, but you cannot eliminate what she held in her heart. The memories of Jace were locked in her heart where you were not able to touch them. Jace is a strong Shadowhunter and he has always had a mind of his own. He will defy heaven and hell for Clary because she is his soulmate. She is the one that he loves fiercely.

Aldertree started to pace back and forth with a smirk on his face. It seems he knows something that I do not. I will get the information that I want from him.

"Well, if what I have done will not keep those two apart then I will kill Clary. She cannot have that child with the power he will have. Summon the demons and sent them after Clary. Tell them to kill her. She is vulnerable right now and will not see or sense them."

"As you wish, Raziel. This is your desire, not mine."

Clary

I woke up in Jace's arms. I would never get tired of this. I got out of bed to jump in the shower. Luke, my dad, and Maryse are coming to see me today. The water felt really good and gave me a chance to think a lot. Jace woke up and walked into the bathroom looking for me. He wrapped his arms around me and gave me a kiss.

"Good morning beautiful. Did you sleep well?"

"Yes, I did. I woke up early thinking about Luke."

"Let me jump in the shower and get ready."

I walked out of the bathroom and let Jace jump in the shower. I went into the room and put on some jeans and a t-shirt and went to make some coffee. There was a knock on the door and it was too early to be Luke. I went and opened the door and there he was, my dad. I jumped into his arms and started crying. He held me tight in his arms for a few minutes before putting me down. I went and hugged Maryse, my new stepmom-to-be. She held me tightly in her arms with tears in her eyes. Jace came to the door with a smile on his face and asked all of us to come in. Luke hugged Jace and then stepped back so Maryse could hug him.

"Dad, mom, I am so happy to see you. I got all my memories back. I remember everything and everyone."

" I see you have all your runes. When did they come back?" Luke asked as he was looking at my visible runes.

"They all came at once last night. I hate it because I do not want to be a Shadowhunter anymore. I am planning to go to Idris and getting de-runed. I already have decided. I will not risk losing Jace again. In a matter of fact, Jace asked me to marry him. We got engaged yesterday."

"By the angel, Jace, Alex, and Izzy did not tell me." 

"They probably figured out that we wanted to tell you, mom. You know that this was going to happen because you know I cannot live without Clary."

"Well, congratulations to you both. I have not asked for a better son, Jace. I always knew how much you love Clary and how you have always protected her."

"Thanks, Luke. This means a lot to me."

"Clary, I see that you are pregnant. How far along are you now?"

"Almost eight weeks. It was terrifying when I found out that I was pregnant and did not remember who I have been with if he loved me, or why I could not remember everything. I am so glad that Jace defied everyone and everything to stay by my side even if he was glamoured at the time. "

"I am so sorry that I couldn't be there for you, kiddo. You know that right?"

"Yes, I know that. Each and every one of you would have if not for Raziel."

"Clary, as I told you at Alec's wedding, I will never try to replace Jocelyn, but I do want to help you with your wedding plans when you are ready."

"Thanks, mom. I really would appreciate that."

"Clary, I know you have made your decision, but I thought that you might want your stele and kindjals."

"Thanks, dad. I will just put them away as a memoir."

We had a good time talking about everything until it was time for Jace to get ready for work. We said our goodbyes and Luke and Maryse left. Jace came out of our bedroom in his uniform and was getting ready to leave. I was already missing him.

"Sorry, babe, but I have to go. I will call you on my break to check up on you. You can call Izzy if you want some company. I am sure she would love to come over. Just do not let her get pushy about the wedding planning. You know how crazy she gets with things."

"I promise I will not let her. After all, I do have a wedding planner that I have kept since I started middle school."

"Really? You have to show it to me first."

"I am afraid that I can not because my idea for my wedding gown is in there. Mundane traditions will not allow you to see my dress until the day of our wedding.  I promise that things like the invitations, the cake, flower arrangements, and the menu will be left for you to decide with me. Izzy will have to abide by my planner and my conditions."

"Okay, I will see you tonight."

Jace

I took Clary in my arms and kissed her, and left with a huge smile on my face. I will never get tired of kissing my love. I stepped out onto the pavement and got this weird feeling like I was being watched. I looked around but did not see anyone. I thought that I would lose all my Shadowhunter instincts, but I guess that I was de-runed but I am still holding angel blood in me so that will never go away unless the angel decides to wipe out my memories. Since I did not see anyone I continued to walk to work. I will check up on Clary on my break to make sure she is alright. This I will keep to myself because knowing Clary, since she is still a Shadowhunter, might want to go out and investigate. I will not take that chance while I am mundane and at work.

Clary

I have this craving for chocolate donuts so I decided to go to my favorite coffee shop to get some and a coffee to go with it. I was ready to walk out but my instincts told me to grab my stele and my kindjals and put them on my belt and hide them with my jacket. I used my stele to glamour my runes since I am still an active Shadowhunter. I locked my door and went outside and stepped into the late afternoon sun. It was beginning to go down and getting dark soon. As I stepped onto the pavement, I felt like I was being watched. I slowly started to look around but did not see anything so I decided to walk like I was not aware of the feeling. I went into the coffee shop and ordered my coffee and donuts. It was getting dark so I decided to go straight home instead of going to the little park across the street. As soon as I started walking, I had this weird feeling that I was being followed. Not paying attention to where I was going I got to close to the alley entrance that I had to pass by and something grabbed me and pulled me into the alley. To my surprise it was Jace. 

"Jace, what the hell? You scared me. I thought you went to work, what are you doing here?"

"I missed you and wanted to see you."

"It only has been a couple of hours since you left for work and said you will call me on your break."

"You know I do not like my job. It is so boring."

As soon as he said he did not like his job, I dropped my coffee and donuts, pulled out my kindjals, and stood in position. This was a demon. My Jace enjoyed his job and would not slack off if there was no good reason for it. This is when I attacked the demon before it had a chance to attack me. I had to make sure that I did not get hurt or stung because of my baby. As soon as I dispatched him, I put my kindjals back and pulled out my phone, and speed-dialed Izzy as I started to walk really fast to the apartment. Izzy picked up right away, thank the angel for that.

"Izzy, I was just attacked by a shapeshifter. He looked just like Jace."

"By the angel Clary, are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"No, I attacked it first before it attacked me. I know that I have to protect my baby. I felt like something was watching me when I left the apartment to get coffee. When I came out of the shop and passed the alley, that is when he grabbed me."

"How did you know it was not Jace?"

"It said that he did not like the job and it was boring. Jace is enjoying his job. Besides he said he would call me at his break."

"Alex, Magnus, and I are already on our way to your apartment. We will be there in a few minutes."

"Thanks, Izzy. I am already at the apartment and opening the door as we speak. See you soon."

It did not take them too long to reach me because within minutes they were banging on my door. Thank the angel for my dear family.

"Hey, that was quick."

"We knew that you needed us so we ran as fast as we could."

"Thanks, guys. Where is Magnus?"

"He is checking the perimeter and putting some wards up. He will also put some wards up in the hallway leading to this apartment. Nothing will get through without you knowing it."

"Alec, you, Izzy, and Magnus cannot tell Jace about this. He will freak out and you know he does not have his runes to protect him."

"Clary, you know I can not promise you that. Jace needs to know about this."

"I have to protect him, Izzy. Even though he is a strong warrior, he is helpless without his runes."

"You keep forgetting that even though he does not have his runes, he is still an angel. I am sure that if he gets mad enough or overprotective enough, he will find a way to use his angelic powers."

"I promise that if I have another encounter I will tell him."

"I do not agree with you. He needs to know so that he is alert and nothing catches him by surprise."

At the moment that Izzy finished her sentence, Jace calls me on cue. I decided that she was right and I would ask him to come home.

"Hey, babe. I am glad you call. Is there a way that you can come home? I need you here. It is important."

"What is it? Is it the baby? What is going on?"

"The baby is fine Jace. I will tell you when you get home."

"My boss knows that you are pregnant. I will just tell him that you are not feeling good and that I need to get home to you. Do not hang up while I go back in and tell him."

I waited for a few minutes and Jace got back on the phone.

"Babe, I am on my way home. Give me a few minutes."

"Sure, see you when you get home. Oh, Izzy, Alec, and Magnus are here with me. I called them earlier."

"Now, I know that something is going on. I am already a block away."

Jace hung up the phone and I knew that he was running home. I knew he was going to overreact with my request to come home. The next thing I know, I hear his keys and the door. I walked over to greet him and I could see that he was breathing hard. He took me in his arms and hugged me then held me at arm's length while he looked me over.

"Jace, I swear, the baby and I are fine. Get out of overprotective mode and say hello to your siblings."

"I am sorry. Yes, I got nervous when you asked me to come home."
