Much to the displeasure of the Guardians of the Academy and Headmistress Kirova, Lissa moved out of her secure dorm in the Moroi Quarters and into Kate's dorm in the Dhampir Quarters. Having found a blood warning drawn onto the wall in the small living area that seperated Lissa and Natalie's dorms, they decided that it was the best option.

Rather, Kate took Lissa to her dorm and the following night threatened Headmistress Kirova that either Lissa stayed in her dorm with her, or Kate would break them out of the Academy.

Despite wanting to get back at the people that blood-painted the wall of the living area, Lissa decided against returning to her old ways, knowing that she would get lost in the games that they played and the forsaken mentality that she'd broken away from.

Something that Kate was much thankful for.

But despite that, and after finding out that the culprit behind the messages was a blonde tiny girl, Lissa decided that she was going to get her revenge on Mia, seeing as the highroad wasn't working. The only problem was that Kate didn't know what Lissa's plan was, she was purposefully not thinking about it and blocking Kate from her mind.

Christian thought that, much like Rose Hathaway would've done, Kate was going to prevent Lissa from talking to any Moroi, him included, despite previously having been shown otherwise, Christian, like so many peers, was waiting for Kate to suddenly turn into a control freak and mean girl. So when he found Dhampir in the church attic wating for him, and begging him to act as a silent watcher of the blonde Princess, he was beyond shocked. Kate had all but fallen on her knees, pressed her hands together as she voiced her concerns for the Princess's well-being, stating that she needed to always be protected.

Christian, not understanding completely, had questioned why, and that's when Kate's features turned dark, her locked hands fell to her laps as an almost daunting expression grew on her features. He almost swore that her eyes had flashed scarlet red, before she got up, jaw clenched and narrowed and disappointed eyes, and walked away.

Lissa started using compulsion her colleagues, a small number at first. Making them exclude Mia from their activities, even if it backfired slightly when they then approached Lissa and requested she spend time with them.

She continued to do it nonetheless. She wanted Mia to feel insignificant because of her actions, she wanted her to suffer, and greatly, it almost gave the blonde Princess a sensation of glee whenever she saw the blondebaby barbie looking degected.

As Lissa watched the fruit of her labours pan out before her, one night a week after she had started, her ex-boyfriend approached her.

"Hey Liss..." Aaron's voice was almost like a ghost, envoking no feelings of happiness and love like it once did. No longer making her want to smile and hold onto his hand, show him off as if she'd won the Human lottery.

Lissa turned her head in her ex's direction, taking a rather unessecarily large step back from him, putting distance between them. "Aaron." she said curtly, almost robotically. There was a frown evident on her otherwise calm features.

"We haven't really had the chance to talk since you got back. You know, with that new friend of yours around." Aaron chuckled slightly, awkwardly, his blue eyes glancing around as if he was on the look out for something. Lissa frowned, noticing and hearing the incinuation that her ex was making, she bit the inside of her cheek, silencing herself from snapping at the brunette Drozdov Moroi, even if it pained her.

"We haven't really talked about how you left things, quite literally." He said awkwardly, pushing his hands into his pockets. "You were telling that you loved me just the previous night and then you ran away from the Academy the moment the sun was shinning."

It was clear that he was trying to guilt the blonde Dragomir Princess into giving up the reason as to why she'd run away. Were Lissa the same person as she was before she escaped, perhaps she would've given in, she would told her ex-boyfriend everything, she'd be running to return to a small glimpse of normalcy.

But thankfully, Lissa was not the same person.

Fixing the bag on her shoulder, Lissa kept her eyes on the brown haired, sky-blue eyed, Drozdov Moroi, her head tilted forward and sideways, as if to silently question if he was serious.

"There is nothing to talk about Aaron. I left and you moved on." Lissa told him, raising her brows in mock attack, "What would your little girlfriend do if she knew that you were here talking to me about our shared past? Would she drench me in water or attempt to suffocate me?"

To say that Aaron looked beyond shocked that his usually shy and quiet ex was talking to him as if she was Rose Hathaway reincarnated, was an understatement . Lissa didn't look like she cared about the way she was talking.

"I feel like you owe me an explanation." Aaron pressed, his sky-blue eyes darting over Lissa's shoulder. Mia Rinaldi was sitting on a stone bench, holding a book on her lap but not really reading it. Aaron's heart clenched at the sight, he wanted to know what was going on and he knew that most people that had been hanging out around Mia had previously hung out with Lissa.

"I don't owe you anything Aaron." Lissa remarked, scoffing slightly. "We are no longer dating, and even if we were, I don't owe you anything, not explanations, not tutoring, not anything."

Aaron thought he knew everything there was to know about Lissa, but from the moment that she'd returned to the Academy with her new best friend and Guardian, he felt like he knew nothing about her. He felt as if, the Lissa who he'd showered with love and affection, whose parents he had attempted to charm, was no longer existent and this new cold version of her was a complete stranger.

"Go back to miny barbie, make her feel all kinds of better. Marry her, do with her all the things you once thought of doing with me." Lissa told her ex, her voice more dreamy and soothing than her previous words.

The sky-blue eyes that Lissa had been staring at seemed to go hazy, looking at her in an unfocused way, the way that she had seen everyone else she compelled react. Although, the way she pursed her lips as Aaron walked past her, it showed, at least to those that had been paying special attention, that Lissa's intent to compel Aaron was not one with an alterior motive, nor one that she planned on doing.

Christian, who'd been staring, creeping, watching from afar frowned, wondering if this was the reason as to why Kate had begged for his help in watching over the Princess.

"Creeping on the Princess, Strigoi?" The annoying voice of Jesse Zecklos surprised the outcast of the Academy. Slowly but surely, Christian turned to face the playboy of the Academy, blond hair and blue eyes that nearly matched his.

"I'm only watching a friend per the request of another." The Ozera Lord mocked, smirking at the blond-haired Moroi.

"You have friends?" Jesse laughed in an accusatory tone, crossing his arms over his chest. His blue eyes watching the outcast with mirth and accusation.

"I do, Lissa and the Dhampir, whose pants you are trying to weasel into." Christian retorted, his smirk only growing as he saw shock and disbelief on the blonde's face. "And let me tell you, she is quite the Dhampir, she could easily make you her pet if she so thought of it." He walked towards Lissa without allowing Zecklos to reply to him.

"They're probably using you for your creepiness, to keep everyone else away from them." Jesse called out to Christian, who continued to walk to Lissa while ignoring him.

"Should I start feeling betrayed and replaced?" Christian couldn't help but tease as soon as he reached Lissa, watching as the blonde Princess smiled gently at him, her demeanour completely changing, something that still surprised Christian, despite the fact that he knew that Lissa was not the person that she'd been before she left.

"No, I'm just getting my sweet revenge." Lissa confessed, carefully hooking her arm through Christian's in the same manner that she used to do with Aaron when she was dating him, the same manner that she walked with Kate.

"Does Kate know that you're taking revenge?" Christian asked with faux curiosity, he knew, from his last conversation with Kate, that the Dhampir had no idea what her Moroi was doing, which was why she asked him for help.

A deep sigh escaped Lissa as the two walked to their shared class.

"I'm tired of having people fight my battles when I can fight them myself. Like you said 'if we used our magic as a weapon, instead of just for warm and fuzzy classroom exercises, the strigoi wouldn't be picking us off.' However, before I can face down a Strigoi again, I need to know that I can compell Morois and well." Lissa told Christian, who was looking at her while she was the one was actually leading them.

"Is that a no then?" Christian questioned, watching as Lissa turned to him with an annoyed face until she noticed the smirk on his lips.

"It's a no, and you won't be telling her either. Don't hink that I don't know that you're acting as a spy for her." Lissa told Christian, who in turn couldn't help but chuckle under his breath at being caught.

Author's note:

-> We're officially done with the old story, 56 chapters were reduced to 24, now comes the part that everyone, including me, hates, which is that this story will be updated sporadically when I'm able to decide what I want to write, seeing as I'm not copying Richelle Mead's books word for word.

-> On a different note, I, for some stupid and idiot reason, decided that this book doesn't have enough angst and got an idea for another Dimitri story. It won't be published for a long time, or at least until part 1 is officially over, but it be a crossover between 3 franchises, including Vampire Academy, and will be named 𝕯ynasty of 𝕭lood.
