Hello, friends. It's a happy day 'cause ENHYPEN launched: ParadoXXX Invasion. 

Jokes aside, in this chapter I show the first (second) times I tried to do an editorial cover design before entering an editorial design course, because folks, you know: fake it until you make it.

The previous year was interesting for me, I was exploring more in design and once, I opened a batch in which I designed this complete cover; it is quite simple. I liked it and I feel that it would look interesting in a real/not digital book.

To design this, I took a photo of the hand of one of my friends. Also, I tried to draw some pills and such.

Here we have the infamous: curly hair horror. I spent 4 hours just making the hair 'cause it was really complicated and it was my first time trying to do that. What do you think? Looks entertaining?

Well, with this one, I was learning about online photo editors and minimalism, so I made this on Photopea and Pixlr. It was fun. This is a simple design related to sins. I think it was made in 2018, probably.

This design is one of my favorites. It took me more than 3 days to make it, if we take into account the sketch, the idea, a matching color palette, and then putting everything together.

For obvious reasons, the woman in the photograph to the left is some public figure that I used only to make the mock-up. This was my first full cover. It was a great experiment.

There is not much to say, this is a simple, basic, and quick style of any cover.

This design consumed almost 6 hours of my time. At that time, I didn't understand much about color theory or perspective. Now it's not that I'm an expert either, but it makes it easier for me to know how to do certain things. I also didn't know how to handle various tools in Photoshop, but now it would be much easier for me to design something like this. I think I could use better color and depth, also the composition. Anyway, I really like this design and I am quite happy that I made it because it has helped me to grow.

Compared to the previous one, this one took me exactly two hours. Quick and simple, the person who ordered it, said: use the red. 

So that's what I did.

On a personal level, I don't like this design, but I don't dislike it either. 

Descriptions left by people should also be taken into account. One day I should make a chapter talking about the ideas and behavior of users who have asked me for designs since I've been on Wattpad. It would be fun for me.
