entry three!⠀/⠀covers i've made + previously
used for my current fics, february 8th!

as the title of this chapter suggests, i am showcasing the covers i've made and/or previously used for my current fics! just a big graphic dump :))
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀with the exception of CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF, my semi fic ++ and instead a little few bonuses added at the end :P

Dear Sun & Sea ⸻ roronoa zoro, one piece: live action.
my opla zoro fic, my baby that has actually passed the 5 chapter mark. first published back in september of 2023, and seeing all these covers side by side i have much improved from then to now.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀the first 5 covers for DS&S used the same title style, until i got to the 6th and decided to experiment with a different font. the colour palette/schemes vary, but the main constants are red, green and blue hues. green: zoro, red: asa. and blue because they're pirates at sea.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀my fav: photoshoot of oh my girl's arin (who portrays asa) with a screencap of lesserafim's kazuha from unforgiven's mv (i think?) overlayed on top. the soft sea green title + colour scheme works really well. will definitely reuse this fav cover of mine from time to time.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀honourable mentions: left, former loona member, now soloist yves' album concept photo as the background with a photoshoot of zhao lusi overlayed on top. change of title typography, different hue of green. with the lyric from rina sawayama's phantom in the top left corner.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀right, current cover (as of 8/02), blue monochromatic — and again, change of title font + colour. it's a simple cover but i really like it, speaks out to me.

two. fic that has been collecting dust for almost 3 years ...

my favs:

Isle of Sorrow ⸻ levi ackerman, attack on titan.
my aot fic that was first published all the way back in may of 2022, and only has 3 chapters up ... it's been heavily neglected writing-wise even as i am still making new covers for it. a total of 12 covers in the past 3 years. 
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀first 4 covers i made for IOS follow a red & purple colour scheme. this fic, too, shows how much i've come in making covers. trial and error + youtube tutorials coming in clutch!! i don't remember why i necessarily settled on a red & purple colour scheme for the first 4 covers of IOS but then i decided to switch to green. i heavily associate the colour green with aot and levi & lune. i don't really know why exactly but it just feels right.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀my favs: left, my utmost fav cover. i really like how the blending came out and the palette and the title + basically everything in the cover. and red spider lilies are an important symbol in both aot and in my fic so i included two of them in the cover.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀right, another fav (+ current cover as of 8/02). again, just basically love everything about this cover. it's also on theme/matching with my current DS&S cover.

three. fic for the ultimate loml violet <3

(current +) my fav:

Heart, Unbreakable ⸻ vi, arcane.
purple hues all the way because of violet <3 right, the first cover of Heart, Unbreakable. itzy's ryujin with aespa's winter (a screencap/shot from armageddon) overlayed. and on the left, vi's back tattoo as another overlay (i went crazy during the grand full reveal iykyk). and the title distorted, but if you focus really hard it's still legible T-T
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀my fav: my favourite cover i've ever made of all time to date. i just really like how it turned out as i was just messing around with countless photoshoots i saved to my pinterest board of unsorted pins. using miss han so-hee once again, as she is my main inspiration for my baby mireille's appearance. (see as i've used han so-hee in my name as this lotto's theme & a draft fic set in the john wick universe ... i just love this woman so much if it wasn't obvious :P)
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀also the title typography, i feel so accomplished right now. i actually love it sm. 

⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀each oc of mine has a colour associated with them—asa: red / lune: green / rei: purple. and yes, the symbolism of these colours do play a part in why they're associated with my beloved babies, but also because they just fit their vibe tbh 😂

four. graphics for various fic drafts

jjk, family line duology:

Divine Finality / Fates' Design ⸻ gojo's past arc au.
Break the Stars ⸻ megumi fushiguro, jujutsu kaisen.
these two fics have been on the back burner for so long. first manifested the starting ideas for BTS back in 2021 when the first season of jjk was released. and when season 2 came out, everything snowballed even more and DF/FD came to life. more colour associations!! seika: red & megumi: blue.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀as the name of this duology suggests, family line, seika from BTS and seri from DF/FD are from the same family line and with it a clan dynasty that wants its line to continue and grow until the end of time. as ABBA's waterloo says: the history book on the shelf, is always repeating itself :P

Kintsugi ⸻ yeon si-eun, weak hero class 1.
a fic that manifested as i was rewatching whc1. and also with the approaching 2nd season this year, i'm back on the whc1 & park ji-hoon train (as if i ever left :P). chose pretty little miss go youn-jung to portray my oc, seol hye-seon <3 i've been wanting to use her as a fc so badly for ages.

Crash and Burn ⸻ original street-racing applyfic.
fun little af that came about since i've always found street-racing cool (real dangerous in real life tho!!!). titled after the song of the same name by maggie lindemann.
⠀⠀⠀⟢⠀the cover uses the concept photoshoot of aespa's giselle from the album drama (giant ver.), though her face is not entirely shown as the pic is centred to the car in her hand and in the parking lot she towers over.

so yeah, that's all for now.
