Deception
I realized there was no point in lying, now that he's found me out. "Okay, you caught me. So, what are you gonna do? Tell the whole village?" I asked. "I could do that... or I couldn't." He said, smirking. "Is this the part where you make a deal with me?" I asked, bluntly.
"You're quick," He walked over to me and sat down beside me. "I noticed you were trying to escape earlier. Would you like some assistance with that?" Kabuto asked, the smirk not leaving his face.
"I'm fine on my own, thank you." I said, staring at him, blankly. "Really? Because from the looks of it, I think you could use some help." He mentioned.
"Even if I do need help, I'm not gonna get it from you."
"Oh? And why not?"
"Because I don't trust you. Simple as that."
"After helping you through the Forest of Death, you still don't trust me?"
"Nope."
"Tsk, tsk. That's too bad."
I frowned at him before sighing, resting my head on the pillow. "Okay, what do you want? Name it and I'll give it to you." I said. "That's a good girl. I knew you weren't that stubborn." Kabuto smiled as he petted my head.
I frowned again. "Just tell me what you want and stop toying with me already." I said. "I want you to tell me everything about this other world of yours. Don't leave anything out." He ordered. 'Quite demanding, isn't he?' I thought, bluntly. Don't worry, I got this covered.
"Fine, I'll tell you. Come here." I said. Kabuto leaned his ear towards my mouth so I could whisper to him. Instead of telling him that, I grabbed his headband with my teeth and tugged it off his head. Kabuto quickly turned his head to look at me with a bit of shock on his head.
"Thanks for that. Now, if you'll excuse me." I smashed my forehead against Kabuto's, making him grab his head as he quickly stood up. I swung my leg up, then swung it down as my heel hit the back of his head.
Kabuto's head hit the railing of the bed, then fell to the floor with a thud. "Sorry, Kabuto. Nothing personal, but I just don't trust you. Plus, the information you were asking for is classified." I said. I used the knife I had hidden under my wrist and messed with the lock of the handcuffs until it came off.
"Finally." I said, then unlocked the other handcuff. I hopped off the bed and went over to the shoe I kicked off, putting it back on. I looked at Kabuto as he was unconscious and rubbed my forehead. "That hurt." I mumbled.
Well, I've always been little 'hardheaded'.
No? Okay, I'll stop.
I changed out of the hospital clothes I was in and into my school uniform. Once I was dressed, I headed out. I slowly opened the door, peeking from side to side, then walked out. But what I failed to notice was that there was a guard standing by the door.
Probably making sure I wouldn't escape. So, how was Kabuto able to get past him? Probably using ninjutsu or something. The guard spotted me and gasped. "Huh? Nemesis! How did you get out of the handcuffs?!" He said. "Uh-oh." I quickly ran the other way.
"Stop! Nemesis, come back!" The guard called before chasing after me.
Kabuto's POV
"Ugh..." I slowly began to regain consciousness as I felt my brain pound against my skull. "Damn... I didn't think she'd do that." I said, rubbing the spot where she hit me. 'I underestimated her.' I thought.
I stood up on my hands and knees and looked at the bed as Nemesis was gone. "Wonder how much of a head start she has?" I mumbled as I rubbed my head. 'I better get out of here myself before I'm spotted.' I thought to myself.
Instead of leaving through the door, I left through the window.
