Episode 1: The boy in the iceberg
Season 1

Chapter 4 Home

Third person POV. 

Katara smiles big at the two airbenders, "we'd love a ride! Thanks!" She said rushing around to the side of Appa. Aang went and helped Katara up.

Luna's heart sped up fast as she felt her soulmate accept her back. She could feel herself smile at the fact that her soulmate had just accepted her back. She has her soulmate finally. 
 
Sokka shakes his head, "Oh, no, I am not getting on that fluffy snot monster" he said. Luna smiles bigger and giggles, she knew getting Sokka on Appa would be a struggle so she got up from her spot, she jumps and lands in front of him swiftly. Her eyes land onto his softly and her body melts at his gaze. 

Sokka straightens his back to make himself look taller and... better looking. Luna giggles, his heart melts, "What? Are you hoping some other monster will come along and let you ride them home?" She asks him. She crosses her arms over her chest and shuffles a step towards him even more. 

Sokka smirks at her, "yeah, you know, before you freeze to death?" Katara added on towards her brother. “Drop the smirk Sokka, it will be fun” she said to him. He shakes his head and she groans at him, “Please?” 

She takes a step towards him even more and sticks her hand out towards him, “Your freeze to death and i don't want my soulmate freezing to death… we just met” she said quietly. 

Quite enough for only them to hear. 

Sokka was defeated, both Luna and Katara were right, he would freeze and starve to death. There was no other way to get home anyway and his soulmate… was asking for him to come with her. He was defeated, BUT!!! He still hates this idea one bit so he slouches, "ugh fine” he mumbles out. Luna smiles big, she quickly reaches out and grabs his hand into hers and drags him to Appa. Sokka looks at her hand and smiles. Luna stops beside Appa and looks to Sokka who kept his eyes on their untwine hands and she smiles, she lightly squeezes his hand before letting go. 

Both soulmates felt cold without any interactions with each other. 

Small time skip. 

Luna smiles and lightly giggles as she looks at Sokka, her soulmate. He has his arm crossed over his chest as he pouts and looks out to the open ocean. He was adorable to her and she didn't want to look away from him, he has her attention now. She just didn’t know what to really say to him.

Luna could tell that the siblings are very different. Katara was a bit more free spirited and caring, her smile would light up anyone's heart and how excited she looked on Appa was very adorable to her too. Sokka on the other hand was strict and sarcastic, she could tell that he wasn’t a big fan of change that much, he was a free spirit but he was protective over his younger sister making him go a bit overboard with safety and some rules… his rules. But he was… also… Sokka, Sokka was just… Sokka. Her Sokka. 

After Luna helped Sokka up she went and sat slightly behind Aang and held onto Appa "Okay, first-time flyers, hold on tight! Appa, yip, yip!" Aang said, lightly whipping the straps.

Luna was excited to be up in the sky again and Sokka could feel her emotions, he could feel how happy she was. She already missed the feeling of air flowing through her hair. 

Appa made this huffing sound and flapped his big tail up and down before pushing off the ground. Luna was quickly distracted with her thoughts, she wasn't really paying attention to what Appa was doing so she wasn't ready for Appa to jump up and then land into the cold water. 

“Hmmft…” Luna eyes moved from the sky to see what had happened, 

"Come on, Appa! Yip, yip!" Aang said again. "You got this Appa, show Sokka that he's wrong" Luna said patting his head. 

Her eyes were casted back up into the sky with a smile on her face. No one could tell she was smiling because of her mask... well except Aang, he could tell by her eyes and how the mask moved slightly up that she was smiling and he knew why. She always loved the sky, to just be free and be in the open skies were relaxing and calming and Aang knew she needed that. 

"Wow! That was truly amazing" Sokka sarcastically said out.  

Luna rolls her eyes at her sarcastic soulmate and turns to look at him, "Appa's just tired. Some rest and he’ll be soaring through the sky at no time" she said. "You'll see," Aang adds on. 

Luna looked away from Sokka to look ahead of her. For a few seconds her eyes stayed locked with the sky, but soon she noticed in the corner of her eye Aang was still looking towards Katara, she giggles quietly to herself, she didn't want to embarrass her little brother so she kept her head straight and said nothing about it. Katara was soon to respond to him and Luna was right.  

"Why are you smiling at me like that?" Katara asks. "Oh, I was smiling?" Aang asks her. Luna giggles at her oblivious brother again and she laughs even more when Sokka groans loudly again. She looks over to him, making him blush and look away from her. 

She giggles and shakes her head and looks back to the sky. Her giggles slowly died down and her head went down slightly as her mind started to wander again. Her eyes were either focused on the white hair of Appa or the white and blue scenery as she fought to check it. She did like the view in front of her, she had to agree that the whites and blues were a loving color to look at, it was a nice change of color for her. A day ago she was surrounded with yellow and orange, now she was surrounded with whites and blues. 

Luna hasnt checked it yet. She hasn't checked what her soulmark color was yet. She was nervous to see the color, she was so used to seeing grey that seeing it in color will take us off guard. She could feel her heart speed in her chest as she sneakily took a look at it. She smiles big as she sees her soulmate's name in blue. Sokka's name was finally blue. She remembers days ago her soulmark... her soulmates name was grey. Usually when it's grey it meant that her soulmate was dead or not even alive yet. But the grey coloring was gone and a blue coloring was there now. 

She felt a tingling sensation come over her body again as the realization came over her and before she knew it she was covering up the soulmark before Aang saw. Aang has only seen her soulmark a few times, but everytime he did see it he would freak out and say how lucky she was to have a soulmate. 

Luna didn't really want that right now and it being Sokka he would freak out even more. Right now she wants some peace to just think everything through. 

Third person pov. 
With Sokka

Sokka stared at Luna in pear amazement, sadly though he could hardly see her face… or body with the big cloak on her small frame. He didn't expect the fishing hunt to go like this, on a bison with a bald kid and his soulmate. 

He wished he could have seen her face longer then she let him see, he has seen her face semi in his dreams before. Soulmates can do that, they can show up in your dreams as your lover/best friend and she has shown up in his dreams a lot. The only thing is that when he did have dreams with her in them, he could hardly see her face. It didn't really bother him much but he did want to see what his soulmate looked like and he did today just for a few seconds.
