Your (pov)~

I let out a yawn as I slowly opened my eyes, squinting at the blaring morning sun through my bedroom window. I let out a groan before stretching in strange contortions and positions before my muscles were finally awake, giving me the ability to move freely.
I sat up, swinging my legs over the side of my bed as I stretched my back and cracked my knees, toes, elbows, and neck.
Letting out another yawn, I hoisted myself up onto my feet as I stretched once more.
I glanced over at my (f/c) curtains before lazily meandering over to them, pulling them open as I was greeted with the true brightness of the morning sun.
Although, despite my fairly monotone attitude, I was actually quite worried. Normally, I would wake up to a ruckus down in the cafe or in the gym. You could literally hear Link, Dark Link, Bowser, Gannon, Samus, and sometimes the rest of the girls and other Smashers fighting about random things through the thick bedroom walls. I have gotten used to it. But this morning was different. It was quiet.
It was never this quiet.
I raised a brow before quickly turning around, beginning to do my morning routine, but this time much faster.

After I had finished showering, brushing my hair and teeth, and getting changed I grabbed my weapon, a (your weapon).
I quickly hurried to my door, unlocking it before going out and re-locking it to keep everyone else out of my room, wherever they were.
I ran (down the hall/downstairs) to the cafe to see if anyone was there.
When I arrived, I almost passed out in shock (figuratively). No one was there. Not even Kirby or Master Hand!
Okay, calm down, (y/n). This could be a prank or something. Is it my birthday? No. So, this is either a prank, or my friends were kidnapped. I thought as I began to make a thorough search of the Mansion.

Everyone was gone.
And to make it even worse, every door that lead to a Smasher's room was unlocked, and open.
Although, strangely, I didn't panic. You would've thought I would be panicking by now, but no. I can't say why, because I don't even know.

I walked outside, scanning the fields of Smash Mansion as I began to check everything other than the Mansion itself.
Still no sign of anyone. And no trace on if they were actually kidnapped.
Come to think of it, that does sound rather strange. The best warriors across time and space getting kidnapped. That sounds ridiculous.
Although, as I've learned when I first arrived here, anything can happen.

I walked into the gardens, searching each bush, flower patch, and tree from head-to-toe (or should I say head-to-root).
Still no trace of anyone.

From then on I looked everywhere I could think of.
I tried to stay out of everyone's rooms, but due to the results of my search, I had no other choice.
I began searching every Smasher's room to the best of my abilities.
I was quite, as you would say, 'weirded out' about searching everyone's rooms. I didn't want to disturb their personal privacy, but it was necessary, I had nowhere else to look.

I had no luck of finding anyone, or any clues in the first ten rooms. But I did find something in the next room I went into. It was Toon Link and Villager's room. The younger Smashers like to have roommates, so they have bunk beds in their rooms. It's a fun idea, if you ask me.
But back to what I was saying before, I found something. It was a black paw print. It seemed to be soot, but it wasn't. Instead, it was pure darkness, not soot.
I raised a brow, examining the paw print in confusion and curiosity, but I didn't dare touch it. But I was snapped out of my focused mood when I heard a voice shout from the living room.
"Hello!? Is anyone here!?"
