Martin POV

"That wasn't nice master" Izzy glared at me.

Ebony was eating her food slowly blushing extremely.

Maybe I shouldn't of done that...

"Ebony, I realized you like steak so I'll buy it tomorrow" I smiled.

"That's nice" she spoke softly.

"You would insult me!" I became frightened.

Izzy smirked at both at us while she was drinking her milk. Ebony became uncomfortable trying to not look at us.

"You know you keep pushing people away" I sighed.

"I'm not" her voice was shaky.

"Ebony, are you okay?" I smiled nervously.

"That kiss kinda messed me up so I'll be going to bed" she blushed walking to her bedroom.

She closed her door slowly.

Silence.

"Normally it's noisy because of her," Izzy sighed.

"She's so cute blushing!" she screamed.

"Shh!" I covered her mouth.

I heard some weird sounds in Ebony's bedroom.

"They are here" Izzy's eyes shun.

"Crap!" I ran to her bedroom.

Ebony was surrounded by some dark spirits. I turned on her light making them disappear.

"Martin!" she threw pillows at me.

"You didn't sense them?" I sighed.

"The....they were here" she became frightened.

"Yeah, they seem to be targeting you" I smiled nervously.

"If they do will I turn back into a cat?" she spoke softly.

"Maybe," I sighed.

"But, you would love that" I smiled.

"No, I wouldn't" she held her chest tightly.

"Ebony, what happened to you?!" I became frightened.

"You treat me so nice and I didn't appreciate that" she looked depressed.

"Well, I didn't care because I knew you weren't treated nicely by humans" I smiled softly sitting beside her.

She looked at her scar on her stomach I saw when I rescued her.

"I remember, I remember my owner was upset. I had a sister, he placed her into a machine that heats up food then she blew up," she started shaking.

"I struggled fighting him to stop putting me in there, I really loved him so I didn't dare to hurt him but I accidentally hurt him then he used a knife and cut me" she started crying.

"His wife grabbed me from him then I ran away" she wiped her tears.

"It's okay," I hugged her.

"I won't hurt you" I smiled softly.

She hugged me tightly and  cried harder.

Izzy ran into her room and hugged her with me.

"We are your family now!" Izzy smiled.

"Thanks" Ebony chuckled.

Ebony and I walked to the mall after work. She stared at a white dress.

"It's a wedding dress" I laughed.

"Wedding?" she became confused.

"I like it" her ears moved.

"I'll see what I can do when you get married," I smirked.

"Your husband will be very lucky to have you" I smiled softly.

She blushed as her ears kept moving.

"Oh...here!" I gave her a ribbon.

"It's red" she smiled.

"I realized you like red" I patted her back.

I helped her tie the bow over her ears.

"It's cute on you" I smiled nervously.

"Really?" she smiled proudly.

"But, you must of dyed it in blood" she glared at me.

"Usual Ebony" I sighed.
