21.

I clawed at the man's hands to get them off my face. 

Iida shouldn't be that far ahead. He should be able to hear me if I scream. Right?

I started to feel dizzy, he was covering my nose as well as my mouth. Making it difficult to breathe.

He was behind me, so I swung my leg back and hit him in the crotch. 

"Ack!" He released his hands from my face.

"IIDA!!" I screamed, getting out of his grip and running towards the beach.

I stopped dead in my tracks. 

I couldn't move.

I heard chuckling behind me. I saw Iida, who was looking around to see where the source of the sound had come from.

"Ha! Did you really think I would just come by myself? Of course, I brought some of my little friends! His quirk is paralyzation. He can paralyze someone for as long as he wants." He put his hands on my shoulder and I could almost feel his smirk next to me.

He covered my mouth again, but not my nose, so I could breathe. But this wasn't the time to celebrate.

Me and Iida made eye contact. I was dragged back into the forest, he started running towards me. Knowing my way of a distress signal. "Midoriya!"

When I would be distressed or in trouble, my ears would start twitching rapidly. He seemed to have seen that. Otherwise, I don't think he would've chased after me.

I was dragged fully into the forest. He started to run deeper into the forest. He took his hand off my mouth again, though I still couldn't do anything because I was paralyzed.

He set me down once we were deep in the forest. He tied me up to a tree and stopped the quirk.

"What do you want from me?" I snapped.

"Hmmm," He put his finger to his chin. "I want to show you something." He smiled.

"What?" I spat.

"It's time you learned a lesson, my boy. I've been observing you for quite some time now. It's time you finally understand. You can't count on anybody to help you. Especially that spikey blonde boy who doesn't know when to shut up."

"That spikey blond boy is my boyfriend! You don't know anything!" I struggled.

"I do." He leaned over me. "I once hoped to be a hero. To be saved by a hero. To find a place for people like me. But those were all childish wishes. From someone who was blind. Look around. What do you see? Fake heroes. See the world from where I stand boy! You're caged at my command you know,"

"What are you doing?" As he spoke, I would feel myself getting dizzy, and slowly lose consciousness. 

"Oh! I didn't tell you about my quirk!" He laughed. "My quirk is Hypnosis. You should know what that is, right? You're a UA student after all!" He raised his arms in the air. "The only part of my quirk that you actually need to know is that as soon as I finish saying my dialogue, you won't be able to stop it! You will follow my every command!" He cackled.

"No! Please!" Things that this man could make me do while he has my hypnotized filled my mind. He could make me kill someone if he wanted to. Or get myself kicked out of UA without them knowing it wasn't me.

"Sorry bud, begging ain't gonna cut it," He placed his hand on my shoulder. I shrugged him off violently. "Come on. Give up this fantasyland of yours. 'I can be the number one hero! I will be the new symbol of peace! Learn how to make One For All my own!'" He raised his hand in the air.

My eyes widened.

How does he know about One For All? 

"It's time to grow up kid. Get wise," He continued.  "One day, there will come a moment. A painful truth that you must face. If you depend on that so-called 'boyfriend' of yours, you'll never find your place in life. The best way to make it to the top..." He smirked. I could tell he was about to finish his dialogue. His friend paralyzed me again. I was stuck with a face of shock and disbelief on my face.

"Is all al-" He was cut off by someone kicking him in the face.

Iida!

"Midoriya! Are you okay? I brought reinforcements as fast as I could!" I saw Aizawa, Uraraka, and Kirishima there behind him. "Midoriya! Can you hear me?" He got down on his knees as Aizawa and the others took care of them.

Where was Kacchan?

Bakugou P.O.V

"Dammit! It still won't budge!" I slammed myself into the door again. Only increasing the pain in my shoulder from trying multiple times.

"Here, let me try!" Captain office supplies (Sero) Said as he flung his tape at the door.

I moved and he tried ripping the door out of the frame.

No luck.

All of us who were in the hut were trying to get out. We heard Iida ranting on about someone being dragged into the woods. When Aizawa asked who, he said it was Deku. Signing his distress signal.

I pretty much went berserk.

After Kirishima left to go help Deku with some others, I ran behind him so I could get there too. But the door shut even though no one touched it. We still don't know why, but my main priority is to get out there and help Deku.

I ran into the door again. 

Still no luck. It's yet to budge even though we've tried everything.

"DAMMIT!!" I screamed. I exploded the door with more power than most times. And ran into it with more strength than the last. 

It flew out of the frame. I ran through the door, running to the forest Iida was panicking over. I used my quirk to get there faster.

I see no commotion. Which is weird. I step through the forest and spot a mop of green hair.

"Deku!" I yell, running over.

I freeze, seeing some of my classmates and Aizawa frozen. Including Deku.

They were all frozen.

Expressions on their faces. As if someone just froze time.

"Hello! Welcome to the party!" A man said with open arms while walking towards me.

"What are you doing?" I spat.

"Well, it's my friends' quirks!" Two men stepped from behind him.

"This guys quirk is paralyzation. He can paralyze someone as long as he wants! But only one persona at a time. This guys quirk is Time Freeze. He can expel his power onto one certain area and all time will freeze in that area. And the people frozen won't remember anything until the quirk is removed! One step forward and you're frozen." 

Dammit to hell! 

It was my duty to protect Deku and look at where he is now!

Deku is frozen, he looked like he was yelling something before he was frozen.

(Like this but it's Deku and he's tied up to a tree^)

I saw Deku's tail in between his legs, a sign of fear. And his ears are flattened.

I start running back to the hut to get back up.

"Awww! Is the little boy gonna go cry to mommy?" He cooed.

Nope. The little boy is gonna go crying to the number one hero.

I smirked. But then stopped as I approached the hut.

"Bakugou! Where's Midoriya? Are they okay?" They ask me.

"No. Remember that gang that took Deku?" 

The nodded.

"Well, they're back. Their quirks are Paralyzation and Time Freeze. So be careful and don't step past me or you'll freeze too," I say.

"Who's there?" Yoayorozu asked.

"Deku, Round face, Kirishima, Four Eyes, and Aizawa," I answer.

"How do we approach this, do you have a plan?" Hot Topic asked. (Jiro)

"Where is All Might?"

3rd Person P.O.V

All Might threw a punch from behind a tree so no one would spot him. It blew the men away, deactivating their quirks as well.

Deku started to pant heavily. As if he was holding his breath this entire time.

"Where's Kacchan!?" He yelled.

"Deku!" Bakugou leaped over to Deku and started to talk to him.

The pro hero Eraserhead was looking around, very confused, as well as the other students who came to help him.

Bakugou started to help Deku get untied. But he couldn't. 

It seemed to be quirk canceling and unbreakable.

"Only the creator can untie it," The man laughed.

"UNDO IT NOW!" Bakugou demanded.

"No!" The man cackled.

"Momo, do you think that you can make something to untie it?" Jiro asked, turning to Yoayorozu who was standing in the back of the group.

"I-I think. Let me try, but it will take some time," She answered.

"We don't have ti-!" Bakugou started.

"We have time Bakugou, Aizawa is erasing their quirks and All Might is here in case anything happens," Iida said calmly.

"You'll never untie him. He'll stay there until back up arrives," The man smirks.

"Back up?" Bakugou growled as he stepped closer to the man. "All over some kid?" He pointed to Deku.

I don't mean it. I don't mean it Deku. Please believe me. It's to make them think you mean no worth to them. Bakugou repeated in his head.

"That kid is a Neko. He is very valuable in our town." He replied with a sinister smile.

"Valuable? How so?" Aizawa asked, tightening his scarf that kept them restrained.

"He's worth a lot of money. But he'll be worth more since he's this precious~"

A spark flew from Bakugou's hand. A small spark of anger rose into a flaming fire inside him.

"Precious?" Bakugou's voice was filled with venom, anger, disgust, jealousy. "You don't know him," The sparks from his hand grew more. While the flaming fire grew larger. "You never will." Bakugou's voice sounded almost like a demon. His hair covering his eyes. "He's more than you'll ever be. He has love. You have disgust. He has a family. You have these sidekicks that hate you. They only do it for the money." The man's expression changed. As well as his 'friends'. "You spend your day. Your life. To do things that no one will appreciate. There's no point. Why? Why do you do the things you do? If you give up now, you can see how much you can change. Into a better person. Earn money and making a living with a good purpose." Bakugou's voice softened. "You don't have to ruin lives. Ruin a perfectly good day. Or night. You can make real friends. Maybe even make a family one day." Bakugou raised his head to see his eyes filled with empathy, sadness, sorrow, pity. "But you must stop this," He held out his hand. "Look at people as friends, not foe. You wanted to be a hero? Didn't you? The only reason most places would've passed you down is because of your quirk. They didn't want you getting hurt in battle. Like Deku." He crouched down next to the man and looked over at Deku. "I bullied him. He was a late bloomer. But I beat him up thinking he was quirkless. Sure, it was a douche move. I was scared. Scared he would hurt himself if he tried. But I was never good with emotions. I'm still not that good with emotions. So I bullied him instead. Thinking I was doing something good. Yes, I was that stupid," He looked down and chuckled as did the man. "But I didn't realize until we got to UA that I was hurting him more than I thought. I really didn't want to destroy our relationship. But I was really stupid. But he's mine now. And I love him to hell and back. I know you have capabilities of feeling that too," He looked at the man again. "Love,"

Bakugou and the man looked at each other for a while. "I'm sorry," The man uttered. "Thank you. Really. I-" He stopped and looked at the grass with a blank stare for a while.

He looked back up at Bakugou and spoke with a smile. "You saved me," He said. A whole new person.

"Saved you? Emotionally? Or..."

"No, you lifted the curse," He said. "I'll explain. I was told that I could get some money for finding lost cats. And my mom was having some money problems so I signed up. When I arrived, the man there took some weird chemical and switched my quirk on myself. My quirk is Hypnosis. So I was set to find this boy. I had to watch everything, but couldn't do anything. I'm so very sorry," He cried.

"We'll send you back to UA. Since you were controlled by someone, your innocent. What about your friends here?" Aizawa asked.

"They're real," The man snapped. "My name is Yuuto. I live in a city in Tokyo. I have no family except my mom. I was a known policeman who helped lots of people since I was turned down by hero schools. But ever since that man caught me I was pronounced missing. No one knows about this," He said.

"Okay, hey Yuuto," Bakugou said. "Can you untie Deku now?" He asked, pointing out the obvious.

"Oh! I'm sorry, of course," He said. Aizawa released the restraints and Yuuto walked over to Deku who flinched back. "It's okay, I'm not him," He said.

After uniting him, he sighed and looked at Deku. "Young man, I'm so very sorry for everything I've done. Would you please find it in your heart to forgive me?" He asks.

"Of course, I understand," Deku says, empathetically.

"BAKUGO! BAKUGOU! BAKUGOU!" Bakugou heard people chant. He turns to see the class cheering.

Kaminari comes up to him and puts a hand on his shoulder. "Did you just show emotion!?" They all cheered as Bakugou scowled at them.

"Shut up! I'm tired, can we go back to the hut now!?" Bakugou complained to Aizawa.

"Fine. Be safe and stick together. Bakugou, you stay. Same as you Midoriya," Aizawa says pointing to the both of them. Bakugou groaned as Midoriya nodded.

The class left and there was just Bakugou, Yuuto, Midoriya, and Aizawa left. All Might went with the rest of the class.

"Bakugou, I thought we made this clear," He scowled at Bakugou.

Bakugou knew he was talking about his promise. He had been beating himself about it since he got the news Deku was taken again.

"Midoriya, I thought I also made it clear that you shouldn't be walking outside at dark alone. We've discussed Neko's are indeed rare and people bid over them. You shouldn't be alone. Even if we're on vacation," He scolded.

"Yes sir," Bakugou and Deku said in unison. 

They both walked to their room in silence. They got to their room and Deku went to his bed.

Bakugou felt a bit sad seeing Deku went to his own bed and turned his back to Bakugou.

After all that happened today, he wants to sleep alone? Bakugou thinks. That's not like Deku to do that.

"Deku, are you okay?" Bakugou says, breaking the silence that followed them.

"I-I'm sorry," He chokes out. He had been silently crying while his back was turned.

"What? Why are you sorry? You didn't do anything," Bakugou was confused.

"I-I'm sorry I cause s-so much t-trouble today," He sniffed.

"Deku... Come here," Bakugou held out his arms for a hug and Deku quickly turned around and excepted. "You did nothing wrong. What happened was beyond your control. Even if you did get to the hut, it still would've happened at some point. And it's good it happened sooner. We can enjoy our stay at the beach. We're gonna go swimming tomorrow. How does that sound?" Bakugou's voice is filled with care and love.

Bakugou's P.O.V

He sniffles. "T-that sounds fun," Deku says.

"Good. Now let's go to bed," I say. Deku struggles to try and get out of my arms to go to his bed but I don't let him. "No, you're sleeping with me," I say.

He giggles and lays down on my bed. I smile and cuddle up to him. Soft small purs come from him. I put his head against my chest, feeling and hearing his small purs. I smiled to myself.

He really is too good for me.
