Grian's Perspective-

Grian was walking out of school when he passed by Teagan and Erica, who were walking the opposite directions, their backs to him.

He was going to say hi to Teagan as he assumed they were friends, but as he walked closer to them, he heard Teagan laugh and say,

"Cod no, he's such an idiot. Literally the only reason I'm dating him is to be popular. Think about it, the most popular people here are in relationships. And besides, he's easy to manipulate. I'm planning on dumping him on our next date this weekend."

Grian felt his heart stop and he backed up before turning around and running onto his bus, looking around to see Scar sitting in the back with his headphones on.

"Scar!" Grian ran over to him and tapped his shoulder.

Scar jumped and took off his headphones.

"Hey Gri! What is- "

"It's Teagan, you have to break up with her."

Scar blinked, "Er- what?"

"I know this sounds crazy, but she's planning on dumping you."

Scar laughed nervously and shrugged Grian off.

"Yeah right, I'm sure you probably just misunderstood her."

"Scar, I'm being completely honest right now, you have to believe me- "

"She- she wouldn't do that! She's...she's nice and kind and would never want to hurt me..." Scar trails off and sighs, tears forming in his eyes.

"Scar- "
Grian tried to put his hand on Scar's shoulder, but Scar swatted it away.

Grian sighed, "I'm sorry."

"You don't know how much I worry about her leaving me. I know she can be a bit much sometimes, but I still care about her."

"But she's just using you!"

"Yeah, maybe she is." Scar said, his voice growing shaky, "You think I haven't noticed? I know how uncomfortable I can be around her sometimes, I know how she's compared me to other guys sometimes."

"Then why are you still with her?"

"I- I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I just don't know!! I- I guess I'm just scared of losing- "

"Of losing what? Her love? She never loved you in the first place!"

Scar's eye twitched, it was clear Grian had hit a nerve.

Grian felt guilty and tried to apologize but Scar then got up and walked past Grian.

"This is our stop." He said grimly before leaving.

Grian sighed and got up, slowly following Scar off the bus.
