Grian's Perspective-

Grian hummed along to the music as he waited for Tinsley, Amabella, and Scar to show up. Right now, it was just him and Mercury standing in the corner.

"So are you going to confess to him tonight?" Mercury asked.

"I- I don't know..." Grian blushed, rubbing the back of his neck, "Now probably isn't even the right time."

"You never know." Mercury said and Grian shrugged.

Tinsley and Amabella walked over to them, and they all started chatting and laughing.

About ten minutes later, Grian asked Tinsley where Scar was.

"I thought you were going to convince him to show."

"I did. He's probably just nervous, I don't know."

Grian sighed and he then felt someone tap his shoulder.

He jumped and turned around, blushing as he saw Scar.

"Scar! You- wow you look incredible." Grian said, blushing.

Scar chuckled and smiled.

He was wearing a long green dress that had a gold lining on it. He had gold deer antlers and he had curled his hair.

"Why thank you! I like your outfit as well. It suits you."

Grian beamed.

"Would you uh- like to dance?" Grian asked nervously, holding out his hand.

Scar smiled and nodded, taking Grian's hand.

Grian gasped as he fumbled at the dance he was doing.

Scar smiled and held Grian's hands, spinning him around back into the dance and Grian giggled, blushing.

"You know, I never got the chance to tell you how amazing you are." Scar said.

"O-oh! I'm not that amazing."

"The fact that you were able to change to stand up for yourself is pretty amazing."

Grian blushed and smiled.

Scar gently brushed some of Grian's hair out of his eyes and Grian leaned into his touch.

"I really like you, you know." Grian whispered.

Scar smiled and leaned in.

"I know now. And I want you to know that those feelings are returned."

He then closed the gap between their lips with a sweet kiss.

I love you.
