"Hey Kihyun! I am closed for today, do you need me to come over and help with anything?" Mark asks, smiling a little.

"Uhm, yeah you can actually help me plan for this party," Kihyun giggles, "I have a theme already I just need decoration ideas, food ideas, etcetera."

"Okay, I'll be right over," he looks down and sees Mayleen, "Oh I forgot Mayleen doesn't have school today either."

"That's okay, she can come over! I think I've got some sidewalk chalk she can draw on my little chalk boards I have here for photo props."

"Alright, we'll be over in a little bit," Mark smiles, hanging up the phone and turning to Mayleen, "Wanna go plan a party?"

"Yeah!" She exclaims, dubbing to grab her coat and her shoes while Mark gets up and puts his own on. As soon as they walk out, they're hit with a windy cold breeze and Mark shivers, "Let's hurry and walk over there baby, it's really cold!"

He takes her hand in his own and they quickly walk across the street to Kihyun's house, knocking on his door once they get there. Kihyun opens the door, smiling, "Hey, come in it's freezing!"

Mark and Mayleen remove their shoes at the door before coming in, Kihyun leading them to the kitchen where he hands Mayleen some chalk and his chalk boards he uses for props, "Here Mayleen, why don't you draw me some pretty pictures?"

"Okay!" She exclaims, sitting on the floor to begin drawing but Mark clears his throat. She looks up, smiling, "Sorry, thank you!"

"You're welcome sweetie," Kihyun giggles, sitting carefully and minding his bump. Mark gently touches it, sitting down beside Kihyun to start planning.

He chuckles, "Halloween?"

"I have the bright idea to host a Halloween gender reveal party!" Kihyun smiles, looking at the ideas he's printed off the internet for him to try and copy, "Since Halloween is on a Saturday this year I think it'll be cute to have a party maybe Friday night so the girls and Siwoo can go trick or treating?"

"Honestly most of the time we go early so we can stay inside on Halloween and make what we call spooky popcorn, right baby girl?" Mark brushes Mayleen's hair back, the little girl nodding before going back to drawing straight lines.

"Well, if you guys don't go trick or treating on that day, then I guess I'll have it on Halloween," Kihyun giggles, making it official on his notepad for notes, "Alright let's get to planning!"

"If you want, I can see if Seokjin will cook for the party? Or at least bring something," Mark asks. They had finished talking over decorations and costume ideas, gender reveal ideas, and now it was on to food.

"I can cook too, but if you all want to bring something go ahead!" Kihyun offers, "He can come over here, I just hadn't even thought to invite him until now."

"You sure?" Mark asks, grabbing his phone to send a text.

"Yeah, he's probably upset we didn't invite him already," Kihyun shrugs, feeling flutters all throughout his tummy and smiling. He looks down at his belly and cups it, "Are you excited baby?"

"So what is the gender," Mark asks, wiggling his eyebrows.

Kihyun rolls his eyes, "Nice try, you're waiting like everyone else."

"Come on at least give me a hint!"

"Okay here's a hint: ducks, elephants, owls. Figure out which gender uses those specifically," Kihyun smirks, standing and going to get him a glass of water, "Water or tea?"

"Water is fine," Mark frowns, looking at his phone, "Seokjin said he had a family emergency."

"Everything alright?" Kihyun calls, grabbing two water bottles out of the fridge instead.

"Oh shi-shoot," Mark covers his mouth, his eyes widen, "his brother is in town I guess."

"That a bad thing?" Kihyun asks, sitting back down at the table to finish making the ghost bowls he got at the store the other day.

"To Seokjin, yes. To everyone else, he's a shy and sweet kid. He's twenty-one, in university for nursing but he's wanting to get his degree in pediatrics. He's really not a bad kid, but Seokjin just.... I don't know," Mark sighs, "He May not be his full blood brother but he's still his brother."

Kihyun rolls his eyes, "Why does he not like his brother? Is he more handsome and more social? I mean, I can't really say anything because my brothers don't talk to me because I actually went to college and got a degree. And graduated high school," He sighs.

"I didn't know you had siblings," Mark smiles softly, "I'm not sure... he told me a long time ago his mom slept with his brother's dad when his parents were going through a rough patch. So instead of getting divorced to split custody of Seokjin, they co-parented and lived together for Seokjin and his brother. His brother had known from a young age Seokjin didn't like him, so why is he over there? I'm not sure, but he knows Seokjin isn't fond of him so why bother going over to see him when he's just going to tell you to leave."

Kihyun rolls his eyes, "Ridiculous...Yep, I don't talk about them much but I have two brothers. My childhood wasn't the best, and I usually don't talk about it," Kihyun was silent again as he takes a deep breath before stopping his work to hold his belly, "I made a promise to my baby that I won't ever be like my mother."

Mark nods, not wanting to make Kihyun uncomfortable by asking, he helps him draw the eyes and mouth on the bowls for the ghosts. They just did the cute ghost emoji face on the bowls, and for the other decorations they have orange and black streamers and fake bat wings that are east to stick on walls and remove from walls. They've got music covered, Kihyun and Mark went through to find spooky music and party music appropriate for kids as well. Namjoon had a speaker that he said they can borrow after Mark asked him.

After decorating tons of plastic pumpkins and making banners, Mark notices the time and makes a noise of surprise, "Oh! Mayleen we need to go home and cook dinner for daddy."

"Yeah, I'm bored," She hands the chalk and board to Kihyun who laughs in return.

"Sorry sweetie, I don't have many things here to play with," Kihyun pouts, "Once the baby is born we'll have some toys for you to play with."

"I'll have a baby brother or sister of my own to play with as well," She smiles, hugging Kihyun, "Thank you for letting pway."

"You're very welcome!" Kihyun laughs, standing to walk them out the door, "You guys can come over any time!"

They say their good byes, Mark rushing them over to their house when he sees some snow falling from the sky. It wasn't huge flakes, it was just barely snow, but it was there and Mark sighs, "Well, it's starting to snow, you know what that means!"

Mayleen giggles, "Snow angels!"

"Whenever we get more snow yes," Mark chuckles, "It also means mommy gets to make his famous hot chocolate you love so much."

"Yay!!"

I have been on Pinterest for an hour looking up party ideas for this gender reveal and I gotta say I'm pretty excited. We'll soon find out what Seokjin is having, and we'll also see more of his brother. We may even meet the baby daddy 😱
