Chapter One
Sam, Colby, Aaron, Corey, Elton, and Jake meet up, surprisingly not for a video though. Instead, they're all just doing a boys night out together. Watch horror movies, maybe do a seance, and then everyone crashes at Elton's place. After all, Elton was like the parental figure for all the other boys.
Sam locks his door behind himself, walking down the calm and peaceful street. His job for the night was to get some chips and soda, seeing as none of them had much of either. Other than the friends, there isn't many people that live on the street, so they don't have to worry much about being too loud.
"Hey Sam!" Colby calls as Sam starts to walk past his house, and Sam flashes a smile.
"Afternoon, Colby," he responds, and Colby flashes his signature grin.
"Ready for hanging out later today?" Sam hums in response. Sam and Colby start catching up, seeing as they haven't talked about random things in a while, seeing as they've been just trying to get videos out on their youtube channel.
It was around noon when Sam continued on his way to the grocery store. Colby ended up heading off in the opposite direction, going to get the stuff for the seance they're probably going to end up forcing Aaron and Corey into doing.
Sam smiles contently, thinking about what that would be like.
"Come on Aaron and Corey, it's not bad," Elton would insist.
"Not bad? What do you mean not bad?! We could be summoning demons into our house because we want to talk to them! How is that not bad?!" Corey shouts before Aaron could get a mere word out.
"Just stop arguing and let's get on with the seance, with or without them," Jake cuts in, tired of the arguing.
It almost always works like that, especially when we're using the Ouija board. Corey has a fear of them, since what happened in his past, and Aaron doesn't trust them. Aaron always brings crosses everywhere with him, especially when they're doing anything paranormal.
Sam walks into the store, finally, quickly finding the aisle where the big bags of chips are. He grabs about five bags, with an assortment of flavors, then going to the next aisle to get some drinks. Once he's gathered some drinks that all the guys would like, he heads up to the register, pushing the buggy with the clunky wheel.
After a few minutes of listening to the items being scanned, he handed the woman a 20 dollar bill, picking up the bags. The woman attempts to give Sam some of the money back, but instead of taking it, he insists it's for charity. "Don't worry about it, ma'am," he said. "Keep it as a bonus."
With that, Sam walked off.

Sam headed to Elton's house once he got all the chips and drinks, knocking on the door. Thuds from the inside are heard as Elton makes his way to the door, unlocking it and letting Sam come in. Sam thanks Elton, walking inside and putting the bags on the dining room table. "Thanks for getting these, Samuel," Elton grins, ruffling Sam's hair.
"I know you're like the uncle to us, but you don't need to call me by my full name, Elton," Sam huffed, knowing that Elton's just joking around. Little did Sam know that this might be the last night of joking around with his friends he'd have for the rest of his life.
"Maybe I don't, but it's fun," Elton snickers, and Sam just backs away.
"Rude," he huffed, heading back to the door. "So, meet here at 7:05pm?"
Elton nods.
Sam heads out afterwards, deciding to go visit Colby for a bit. He stops at Colby's house once again, knocking on the door. The place Colby had to go wasn't nearly as far, so he'd probably be back by then, Sam figured.
Colby opens the door, allowing Sam to come in. "Miss me that much?" Colby asked jokingly, snickering.
Sam stifles back a laugh, though happy to see his best friend once again. "Ah yes, I missed you so much I had to see you again," Sam says dramatically and humorously.
"I can tell, seeing as we're going to be going to Elton's place in a few hours, yet you're just hanging out with me until then."
Sam huffs, poking Colby's cheek playfully. "Hey Colbs?"
"Hm?"
"You're amazing."
A soft, pink blush dances along Colby's face, not expecting Sam to say that. Yes, they've said it to each other before, and they've made the point that they're best friends whom rely on the other for support and life in general, but this time, it felt different to Colby. A mere "you're amazing" in a video is one thing, and it's just like saying it when they're all together as a friend group. When they say it while it's just the two of them though, it's different. It feels so much more real.
"You're even more amazing, Sammy," Colby finally responds, ruffling Sam's hair.
Sam huffs, pulling back and fixing his hair. "What's with everyone and messing up my hair today?"
"Simple; they see how soft and fluffy your hair is, and they just want to touch it. I don't blame them," the brunette grins at the shorter blonde.
Sam just pouts in response, while Colby paces around.
"And Sammy?" the older one hums.
"Yeah?"
"Can I tell you a secret?"
Sam nods gently, and Colby bites his lip a bit.
"I love you, Sam."
