Jungkook decided to skip work today as taehyung's security is more important

He parked his car in front of the bar about which taehyung had told him.

He got inside the bar, pushing away the drunk bodies trying to hover over him

He started to look for taehyung who was then found sitting on the bar seat.

Jungkook started walking towards him but soon stopped when he saw a male sitting beside him, smirking at him while taehyung flirted with him

Jungkook squinted his eyes. He doesn't know but he has the same feeling he had at the time hoseok. Jealousy

 He briskly walked towards the two flirting males and ripped them apart then helped taehyung to stand up from his place

"Don't come near him" he glared at the male who backed away

Taehyung looked at jungkook who was glaring at the man and blushed.

"Kookie!" he exclaimed drunkenly

Jungkook looked at the drunk taehyung and he seemed to blush a little

He gripped taehyung's hand and dragged him out of the bar.

"Hehe kookiezzzz, where youzzz taking me mister?" Taehyung giggled drunkenly as he ran like a penguin.

Jungkook chuckled at him for being so cute and walked behind him, in case if he tripped or something

Taehyung danced on the street and jungkook grabbed him

"Hey Tae, stop doing this. People are seeing" jungkook whispered in his ear

"Whaaat? Can't hear youuuuu" taehyung sang loudly and jungkook smacked his forehead

"If you don't walk straight I'll have to carry you" jungkook said bluntly, yet there was a mild flutter in his heart

Taehyung dramatically gasped and pouted

"Aye aye Captain kookiezz" he giggled before marching forward while jungkook shook his head in disappointment yet there was a smile on his face

They walked towards the car and with utter difficulty jungkook made taehyung sit inside the car while the latter was singing some stupid song in a gibberish tone

They drove towards taehyung's home. Taehyung had fallen silent while he looked at jungkook

"Kookie, when did we meet?" He asked

"1 month and 12 days ago" jungkook said, not paying attention to what even taehyung was wanting to ask

"Why do you remember this?" Taehyung asked in a childish tone

"Dunno" jungkook said as he parked the car and opened the gate for taehyung to get out of the car

Taehyung stumbled out but jungkook gripped his waist and held him in place

A red blush spread across both their cheeks as they locked eyes

Not again

Taehyung pushed himself away from jungkook and trippingly walked towards his house

Jungkook ran after him and stopped him from entering the house

"Tae.....why are you behaving like this?" Jungkook asked, holding the door so taehyung wouldn't close it

He entered the house even before taehyung could push him out and locked the door

"Go away, kocks" taehyung huffed

"I'm sorry for whatever I did Tae, but tell me what did i do?" Jungkook asked with worry and concern

Taehyung sighed and ruffled his hair

"I wish it wasn't so damn hard to leave you" taehyung said

"B-but why do you wanna leave me?" Jungkook asked, lump forming in his throat

"I hope this meant something to you" taehyung said tears forming inside his eyes

"It does taehyung! Otherwise I wouldn't be knocking your door every fucking day, making you things and wanting to talk to you!" Jungkook let his frustration out

"If it did mean to you then you wouldn't have kissed me and then acted as if meant nothing to you!" Taehyung shouted

"I did apologize Tae! I wasn't in the right mind that time and I don't know what got inside me that I did that" jungkook said, furrowing his eyebrows

"See this is where it goes all wrong! You're so stupid jungkook, can't you see what I want?!" Taehyung set as he made his hands into fists

"Then tell me what do you want! Tell me!"

"I—...... You can't give it to me anyways" taehyung sighed and was about to walk away when jungkook pulled him into a back hug, gripping his waist tightly while taehyung's heart flew out of his chest

He tried to wiggle out but jungkook didn't let him

"I miss spending my time with you, Tae. I miss you, i miss us tae" jungkook wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying now, he was that desperate to bring taehyung back in his life

Taehyung pushed jungkook away and looked with anger and tears in his eyes

"There was no us, jungkook!"

"But I am your friend Tae, don't I mean anything to you?!"

"THEN FUCKING ACT LIKE A FRIEND" jungkook flinched. Taehyung never yelled at him like this

But that wasn't the reason. His words struck like lightning to him

Act like a friend?

"W-what do you me-mean tae?" Jungkook asked softly

Taehyung pulled jungkook close to him and that's when heat rushed in jungkook's body as a blush appeared over his cheeks, heart beating rapidly inside his chest at the closeness

"Friends don't talk to each other with sweetness dripping from their tone, friends don't stand in front of the door at every fucking morning with sweets in their hands, friends don't hug each other as if they are each other's warmth, friends don't get jealous when someone else is near them, friends don't kiss each other, friends don't be this close.......friends don't act as if they love each other" taehyung said, breathing fanning over jungkook's lips

Jungkook pushed taehyung away, heart beating rapidly

He cannot believe his ears

Friends don't act like lovers

The words were ringing like a bell in his ears. He just wanted to stop them

He doesn't romantically love his friend. That too a guy. No never

His breath was heavy as he shook his head to nothing in particular

"Jungkook, we are friends. Friends. You should understand the meaning of it properly" taehyung said and pushed jungkook out of his house

"Because I can't be friends with someone I want to be something more" he said and closed the door

Jungkook froze on the spot

He was still processing taehyung's words inside his mind

We are friends
