IT'S BEEN ALMOST AN ENTIRE YEAR SINCE I'VE UPDATED, HOLY SHIT.
Michael wasn't big on bragging, but he was pretty popular online. At school, he was well known (as he talked a lot and loudly in class, despite his severe social anxiety), but he didn't have many friends. Partially due to his awkwardness and unwillingness to meet new friends, partially due to Luke Hemmings. It was well known that they had a fued thing going on, and Luke was friends with most of the school. Therefore, they didn't want to upset him so they just steered away from the pale boy.
The only one that didn't was Calum, because he was friends with Michael first and would never leave him, despite getting quite close to Luke during the summer.
Michael's other friends were Ashton, a boy that he met through mutual friends and they got close through Facebook, Ashley, a girl whom he met through the Internet and got along with great, and his favorite duo, Tyler and Josh, whom were fellow YouTubers that he often did collabs with. He didn't have many friends, but he had enough and he was satisfied. They supported each other and they were healthy friendships, unlike the ones he used to have.
One of the reasons he was so popular online, in Michael's opinion anyway, is because he spends so much time on it. He knows all the latest memes, jokes, fandom updates, and he's very open about being supportive of the LGBTQ+ community (though never outright said, hey, I'm this). He's very open with his opinions, and people love it, even though they don't always agree. He talks about important subjects one minute, and is making a meme video the next. It's everyone's dream content creator, to be honest.
He has no idea how he'll keep up with college and his online life.
~~~{name them}
Michael was watching Tyler's ukulele cover of I Don't Know My Name by Grace Vanderwaal on his pc when his phone blared "BANG BANG BANG" by BIGBANG. "Hello?" I asked before looking to see who called. The name read, "Giggly Fucker". Ah, Ashton.
"Michael, sup?" Ashton asked as he shoved a potato chip in his mouth.
"Is that all you wanted? Why didn't you just text me?" Michael asked, confused.
"I missed your voice. And wanted to see if you wanted to hang out." Ashton stated nonchalantly.
"Awe, what a cute baby man," Michael laughed, "and if by hang out you mean, "stay in and eat pizza whilst watching rom-coms and horror mobies" then yes, I'll hang out."
"Honestly, I didn't expect much different. Though I expected anime or a kdrama to be thrown in there." Ashton said.
"I've finished the ones on my list, but who knows what'll happen by the time you get here..." Michael trailed off and Ashton giggled.
"Be there soon, I'm stopping to get snacks. You order the pizza." Ash commanded.
"Yes, sir! Bye!" Michael hung up the phone, but didn't order the pizza. He continued to watch Tyler.
--
"Bitch,,, really? You didn't order the pizza?" Ashton had barged in, scaring Michael shitless. He had forgotten so soon that he was coming over, and he sheepishly admitted that he hadn't ordered the pizza, but had to go out to do some stuff anyway.
The "big" and/or "meaningful" thing finally did come to poor Luke. After slow days, which he had wished would go like a blur (they didn't listen), it happened. Well, it was more of a series of "its" happened, and Luke was absolutely done.
First, he got a letter that said his parents won't be back soon. He really needed them right now, and he was upset that he wouldn't have anyone for so long. Then, when he was on the way to work, he got shoved onto the ground, which thus made him dirty and slightly bloody. What a great way to show up to work; crying, dirty, and bloody. He wasn't in too good of a mood.
When he got to work, his boss saw his state and flipped his shit. No, no sympathy for the hurt boy, just screams and threats to fire him. His whole body hurt, and he was sure he was getting sick, and his boss's screeching voice did not make him want to not want to jump off of a bridge. To top it off, after he got all cleaned up (to the best of his ability), the day was brutal and busy. And, of course, he had to see the ugly (angelic) face of Mr. Michael Clifford.
Then, when he was finally home, he realized that he was out of food, and he was too tired and unmotivated to even move around the house, let alone go to the store to get food. And, being tall and lanky, add on clumsy and tired, Luke fell not once or twice, but four times since coming home that would be sure to leave bruises.
He does not want tomorrow to come.
