It was starting to get dark and I knew that I was going to school even the i was a little sick. And then I heard yelling. "Im working hard and you're sitting here and doing nothing! Lucy is sick and you're doing nothing! We have bills and you're doing nothing!" "Layla, don't you dare raise your voice at me! Im working hard here and I'm trying to focus on necessary stuff." "So our daughter is not necessary!?" "Lay-" "say, what did you do last night?" "I was working." "You're lying! I heard you trying to seduce Mika! And last week you brought Cornelia over!" "How do you know that!?" "OH, SO YOU ACTUALLY DID!" "N-no, Layla!" "AS SOON AS LUCY'S SUMMERBREAK STARTS YOU'RE OUT!" And the my mom walked into her room and smashed the door. I have been noticing that my father has been acting a little weird lately. My dad caught me eavesdropping, but he didn't really care. I was quite mad about what I had heard, but I didn't want to upset my father and it didn't look like he was in a good mood. I texted Cana.

Lucy:
My dad has been hanging out with Cornelia lately...

I'm guessing that Cana got surprised because it took time before she responded.

Cana:
I know. Mom has been mad lately. She told me to call ya' but I forgot.
Tell your dad she's with already with the best man ever.

Lucy:
I will.

I can't believe it. My dad has invited my friends mothers over behind my mothers back. I'm so frustrated. I wasn't really looking forward to summer, but now I can't wait. I had never been daddy's little girl, I was always on mothers side. Father just....he does too many mistakes and expects us to give him more and more chances. But mother has had enough now, and I honestly have too.
