Shravani's POV:

I was feeling hungry as hell and I badly had this crazy urge to eat mango rice!!! I swallowed dry trying to sooth my mouth from watering at a mere thought of having a raw mango rice...
How delicious would it be...
Just lots of raw mango with lots of salt and chilli powder mixed with white rice...

Yummmmmmmmm!!!

I looked at the mango tree in our apartment and eyed that one raw mango saying me 'Helllooooo how do you doooo' and my throat dried up!!!

I saw the clock ticking 11 pm!!!
This can be crazy!!!
I already ate my dinner but I desperately wanted the mango rice!!!
By hook or crook!!!

So I decided to join the sticks I had at home only for Sattu's eyes to fall on me and he raised his eyebrows while I gave him a nervous chuckle and ran into our bedroom balcony trying my best to reach my target!!!

But I was a petite one!!! I could somehow not reach that branch but I still kept struggling while suddenly I felt two hands snake around my arms and pull the stick from me and asked...

'Why are we doing this mango fiasco at midnight scaring neighbours???' and I simply pouted saying..

'Sattu please don't try to dig into my soul dude...I want mango rice!!! Now!!! Right fucking nowwwwww!!!' I screamed and he gulped nervously!

I don't know why I was behaving like that but I genuinely wanted to eat it!!!

'Ummm Shravani you had your dinner properly right?'

And I was irritated!!!
'Why ??? Why are you doing a post mortem??? One day a girl can't feel more hungry or what??? I feel like having mango rice!!! What's your problem??? Tell me will you pluck that fucking mango for me or not!!!' I growled and he looked scared and muttered in a small voice a little 'Sure' and helped me pluck the mango.

Thanks to his muscular taller body he was able to manage to reach the branch and the edge of the stick held the mango branch and one pull ...it had fallen into the plastic hung to our stick!!!

At 12:30 am midnight I savoured, moaned, enjoyed and relished 2 plates of mango rice and licked my fingers without the care of this world while he kept smiling looking at me!!!

Slowly I felt him coming closer to me and his lips pecked closer to my lower lip and I gasped !!!
He just managed to eat that one rice grain that was stuck to my lower lip and mumbled 'Delicious!!!' making me all flushed!!!

I was washing my hands while I heard a whisper in my ears saying
'If you are done Biwi...I think I'm hungry!!! Still hungry!!!' and I felt a soft kiss on my earlobe and I closed my eyes knowing that hot whisper and what he actually meant!!!

And before I could speak up I was lifted in a bridal style to our room and in no time lights were dimmed!!!
He removed his shirt as I blushed at the sight of his sexy muscular body but he came closer to my ears and whispered...
'You don't need to worry about pregnancy henceforth!!!' while I narrowed my eyebrows while pulled out something from the side drawer and my eyes widened as I saw the drawer was filled with packets of condoms!!!

'What the F??? So many???' I shrieked out and he pinned me below him and whispered
..
'Cant help it!! The lion has tasted the blood and it knows nothing else but it's favourite now!!!' saying he licked my cheek and I screamed a 'Ewwwww' and he giggled while he whispered in my ears... 'Annnnd I promised you...you will have strawberry sooooooo' he showed me the packet and it read strawberry!!!
This jerk of a man!!!

I hit his chest while he was laughing loudly and in no one time our laughs turned into intense eyelocks and in no time we had yet another steamy makeout session but ofcourse with protection!!!

But early morning I felt sick and disgusting!!! I wanted to just empty my stomach at once as I was feeling sick and disgusted. I ran into the washroom and emptied my stomach into the pot. It was crazy!!! I cursed the mango rice!!!
I washed my mouth and saw the clock was still ticking 5 am and I saw Sattu sleeping like a baby. I went back to the warmth of his arms and slept again.

When I opened my eyes it was 10 am!!!
I freaked out but then I saw a sticky note to the headboard of our bed saying

I know your mango rice showed up colors early in the morning!!!
Shutup and eat the khichdi I made for you in the kitchen! Tablets kept on the side table next to the lamp! Eat that too!
And strictly
No spicy food no junk no ice-cream!!!
You are taking rest and not going to hospital too!
And dare you go against my orders Biwi I have multiple eyes!!!

And I smiled at how cute he was!!! I so badly wanted to cuddle and kiss him now but he seems to have left and I know he is busy with that irrigation project discussions already. I managed to get up from the bed as I had a mad urge to pee but my head spinned and I felt another urge to empty my stomach. I managed to somehow reach the washroom and vomit again. While peeing I realised mango rice doesn't make your head spin!!! So I quickly pulled out a little plastic cap I used yesterday to test my urine!!!

Yes!!! I was going to take the test again!
I don't know why I was going to test for it again but something inside me told me to give it a try!!!
I picked yet another pregnancy test kit and tried testing it again!
This was the first urine of the day and...
I froze

There were 2 pink lines!!!
My breath hitched, my eyes were filled with tears...
The feeling left me so numb that I covered my mouth with my palms.

I tested this time the same on 2 more kits that I had!!!
Each one showed 2 pink lines and I kept crying and laughing at the same time!!!

It was positive!!!
I was pregnant!!!
Sattu and I were pregnant!!!
I covered my face and kept crying like a little baby trying to swallow the fact that our baby is inside me...
A junior Sattu or a junior Shravani is breathing inside me...
I lifted my shirt up and softly caressed my belly and giggled as tears kept rolling down my face...

Who could ever think that this Me and you would turn into a 'we' and 'ours' someday!!!

Specially after we had such a dreadful past!!! After how we lost each other years ago...after how he broke my heart and I broke his heart later!!!
Who could think we could come back together!!! Indeed destiny plays its own games!!!

Flashback begins...

I wore my sharara with minimal jewellery and stepped out as the entire apartment was filled with little diyas, the miniature lighting and lamps. There were colorful rangoli outside almost every house on the coridor and it looked gorgeous...I went downstairs to meet my friends but Shonali seemed to be ignoring me. Rishika and Rithika gave me small hesitant smiles but Shonali completely walked away. Pooja was conducted but I didn't see him anywhere. He wasn't there for the Pooja. Sweets were distributed and everyone got busy bursting crackers but Shonali was going upstairs.

I ran to her and held her hand...
'Shonali please don't ignore me...you know it's not easy for me too'

And she turned around and looked at me and huffed at once saying...
'Really ??? Not easy for you??? No tell me then Shravani what's easier??? Ignoring Satyendra's feelings? Giving him your shitty attitude?? Back answering him with statements like girlfriends and stuff like that??? Wait!!! No tell me what's your issue Shravani???
You can't tell him what you feel!!!
You can't see him with someone else!!!
You snap at him when he approaches you!!!
You yell at him when you see him with other girls!!!
You blame him of having a relationship with that Kanishka girl who keeps throwing herself at him not since now... since years!!!
Not once did he entertain her!!!

She said it all and I don't know why I broke down so badly that I couldn't hold myself. Shonali pulled me in her arms and hugged me tightly taking me to a secluded corner of staircase where no one saw us. She consoled me and finally I confessed it to her...

'I think I'm falling for him!' and she was shocked.

'Whatttt??? I thought it's a crush but Shravani are you sure???'

'I think I'm deeply falling for him...this maybe wrong...I know many would say this is a childhood crush but I feel much more for him Shonali...I cannot tolerate to see him with another girl...and when he teases me it annoys me!!! I can't see Kanishka around him...hell I can't see any girl around him!!! I'm going nuts Shonali..I want to talk to him but my mouth doesn't gather courage..I want to tell him but my body goes numb!!! I swear I'm not doing this to hurt him...but I don't know why I react like this...I hate myself for this Shonali' saying I hugged her tightly while she caressed my head saying...

'You must talk to him Shravani...you both can't go on like this...talk to each other...' she said and I nodded.

She cupped my face saying...
'Shravu today is Diwali night and he will come home...wish him Diwali and start fresh' she said my teary eyes met hers and I nodded with a teary smile.

I waited for him longer than usual he wasn't here. Families retired back home while only our gang was left bursting crackers. Although I hated crackers I stayed back hoping to see him

After sometime I saw him come back home with his gang in their bikes. I was shocked as I saw Kanishka sitting behind him.

He did not get down from the bike and the Kanishka girl was smirking looking at me and something inside me said something is very wrong here...

He kept wishing everyone and he took the Diwali sweets. Shonali wished him and offered him and Kanishka the Pooja Prashad (offering) wishing them 'Happy Diwali' and nudged me to wish him... my hands were trembling. I gathered the courage to walk closer to him to wish him while I heard her say...

'Baby I'm so happy you chose the perfect day to tell it to me...here this is to our new beginning...our new relationship my love...Happy Diwali baby' and she fed him the prashad and kissed his cheek infront of everyone while his gang hooted for them and I was shocked.

I looked at Rishika who mumbled looking elsewhere and said..
'Bhai proposed to Kanishka today...she is his ... girlfriend now'

And my heart broke into a billion pieces!!!
He managed to shatter that every emotion he had awakened inside my chest for him!!!
I lost him.

Flashback ends...

I was back from my trance as I heard the calling bell and my moist eyes blinked recalling the worst of my life!

I touched my belly again and smiled while praying to god that nothing seperates us...EVER!!!

The bell rang again and I narrowed my eyebrows wondering who it was...

I wore my pajamas and kept the test kits in my pouch planning to surprise Sattu in the night and went to open the door.

And I was shocked as I saw Muttha and Ruby mumma standing outside the door and behind him there was a tall lady with her luggage. I wondered who she was...

Ruby Mumma tapped my shoulder walking inside...
'Shravani...Sattu couldn't come home now but he had asked me to escort her here... please take care of her...Sattu will be home asap!!!' I wondered who she was...

She looked dull and upset. Muttha took her luggage to the guest room directly and I was wondering why is she staying here and who she was

While Ruby mumma said at once...
'Child...she has left her home and come here... she is very upset'

'But who is she?' I asked and Ruby mumma was shocked saying

'I thought you knew...she is Karishma.. Satyendra's ex wife' and I froze to death!!!

Sattu's first wife???

Why is she back now???
