It was dark... screams were heard around me, my cries were muted as they mix with the screams.. and before I knew it, the screams died down... utter silence filled the void around me... I couldn't move and I wouldn't dare to, as fear etched on me like snakes crawling up to me...

I didn't know how long it was that I didn't move and just cried till my throat hurt, until I felt warm securing arms around me and was hushed by a warm comforting voice...

"Don't worry little one I'm here..." I heard

The voice was filled with warmth and gently passes through my ears calming me down.

"Don't worry little one I'm here, I won't let you be harmed again..."

The voice was so truthful and encouraging in my ears, I slowly peered my eyes open and they meet with forest green ones.

"Hello little one.." The voice said softly

"Don't worry I'll take care of you...Astuko Chiharu..." The voice said again with a name I presumed that is mine and with that I slowly drifted off in the arms of the voice who picked me up and saved me...

And this is how it began...
