Emery's POV
I woke up next to Asher and smiled softly remembering last night.It was a great night we stayed up talking about our lives.He was an only child and wished his parents would of had more siblings.He was closer to the moon goddess than any other pack and I would hold the same title when I took the Luna position.My eyes trailed down his jawline to his broad shoulders and well defined muscles.I never noticed how attractive muscles were but until last night we had never met and I never really paid attention to the other males in my pack.
Good morning I whispered when his eyes opened and he pulled me closer.
"Good morning baby..what time is it"
"8:30"
"How long have you been up"
"Not long"
"How'd you sleep"
"I slept good..how'd you sleep"
"Very good it felt nice to have you nuzzled into me all night"I blushed slightly and he kissed my hairline.
"I'm gonna go get us some breakfast are pancakes okay"
"Mhmm"
"I'll be right back"I nodded and he left his room shutting his door behind me and I went into his bathroom.
"Oh my goodness Em you look like a freight train hit you"I washed my face and tied my hair up in a messy bun.I used the bathroom and was back in his bed by the time he walked back in.He handed me my plate and took the two mugs of coffee off the tray handing me one and slid the small container filled with creamer.
Thank you I murmured.
"Your welcome baby"We are in mostly silence and he changed his clothes and I looked at my dress in the corner of his room.I gasped when I seen my shoes were missing.
"Asher"
"What's wrong baby"
"My shoes are gone"
"No baby here they are I put them in the closet didn't want anyone coming in this morning and getting any ideas.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to panic"
"It's okay baby they are very nice shoes"
"My mom bought them for me"
"I can't wait to spoil you baby"
"You don't have to do that"
"Hm but I want too"
"Just don't go super crazy or I'll feel bad"
"I won't baby I promise"
"My parents are probably worried about me"
"I can take you home now baby it's your decision"
"I want to stay with you"
"Soon baby we will start having your clothing moved and then you can decide when your ready to move in and announce your title"
"What if they don't like me"
"Why wouldn't they like you baby."
"I don't know just nervous I suppose"
"Well I promise they will love you baby"
"Do you think I can come back tonight"
"Of course you can baby"I smiled and he grinned at me.
"My parents will be ecstatic to meet you"
"Will they"
"Yes of course Ashy..my mom has been talking about finding my mate for weeks"
"Well I'm glad I found you then..safe you the embarrassment of being teased"
"Me too Ashy"
"Shall we go"I nodded and he took my hand and grabbed his car keys.I followed him and slid into his car.
Whoa I murmured looking around.
"Glad you like it"I looked over to him to see dark sun glasses covering his eyes and my dress was in the backseat along with my shoes.We sped off and I smiled softly as he slowly reached for my hand.I interlocked our fingers and he kissed my hand.
"When do we get our mate bond"
"Not until your marked baby..and I won't mark you til your 100% sure your ready"
"Okay"The ride to my pack seemed nonexistent as Asher and I made easy conversation.My brother was leading training when we pulled in and he gave me a nod.A couple pack members whispered as Asher pulled me under his arm.
People are looking at us I whispered.
You get used to it baby he murmured nodding his head to my brother.
"Oh honey are you okay"
"Mom I'm fine"
"I was so worried"I nodded and felt Asher's gaze on the both of us.
"You must be Alpha Asher Hannah told us so much about you"
"All good things I hope"
"Of course Alpha"
"Asher is fine please"
"Of course"
Come on I whispered pulling him inside.My father did introductions next meeting Asher's handshake warmly.
Dad we are going upstairs I mumbled and he nodded letting me lead Asher away.Asher admired photos all over the wall and I tugged him impatiently.
"What's wrong baby"
"Nothing"
"This is my room"He looked around and I shut my door.He raised his eyebrow as I slipped out of his shorts.I slipped a pair of my own on and he caught the shorts I tossed at him.He pulled me closer to him and I smiled.
"Can I steal a kiss from my mate's sweet lips before I have to go"
You have to go already I whispered as he sat on my bed pulling me onto his lap.
"I have training to do baby"
"Hm okay Ashy"I leaned forward and he held my hips softly as he kissed me slowly.It was a soft kiss even if I knew he wanted more.I closed my eyes and tangled my hands in his hair.His hand slid up his shirt slowly and I squeaked when they rested right above my hip.
"I'm sorry did I move to quick"
"No it's okay just was a little surprised Ashy"His hands rubbed small circles on my back and I sighed as he leaned back taking me with him.
"Baby"
"Yes Ashy"
"I think I'm in love with you already"
"I think I am too Ashy"
"You do"

Asher's POV
"How was it"Derek smirked Brittany his newly found mate latched onto him like a leech.She already was bearing his mark and her's was him.I liked how our marks weren't hickeys they actually formed tattoos that were a permanent mark.
"No mark yet"
"Not yet"
"Waiting?"
"Yes until she's ready"
"Congratulations by the way"
"Thanks and you too Derek"
"Thanks man means a lot"I could smell her before I could see her making me smile slightly.
"She's back"
"Tell them to escort her"He nodded and Brittany clapped excitedly.
"Finally some girl time"I seen her walking with Max and my breath caught in my throat the romper she was in hugged her body like a second skin.Our eyes met and she flashed me a stunning smile making my knees weaken just at the sight.
"Hi Ashy"
"Hi baby"We shared a kiss and she giggled as my hand rested on the small of her back.
"You look beautiful"
"Thank you Hannah picked it out"
'Why don't you go put your bag in my room"
"Okay I'll be right back"She kissed my cheek and I chuckled.
Emery's POV
I walked into the pack house to see some males in the kitchen.
"Hey mami what are you doing here"I ignored them and kept walking.
'Luna what am I suppose to do with them'
'Just ignore them keep walking'I opened Asher's door and set my bag of a couple things on his bench at the end of the bed.I walked back downstairs quickly and out the door.Those boys on the porch whistling at me.Obviously since Asher hasn't marked me they don't know who I am but still it's not right I am not a piece of meat.Plus someone should really teach these boys not to respect a woman in front of men that live for their mates.
"Hey you little assholes she's spoken for"
"By who"
Me Asher growled and the boys stiffened.
"It's okay Asher they weren't bothering me"
"You were uncomfortable I could tell.Oh and boys since you don't know how to treat a lady you will be served a punishment that will make you treat them with respect.Jonathan and Ian you will be in the kitchen with every meal serving and helping the pack cooks.And Thomas oh Thomas you made the wrong decision to whistle at my mate.You will serve alongside the boys and you will wait on your Luna and Female Beta of the pack anything they need you will get for them.Understood?"
"Yes Alpha"
"Punishment starts immediately and boys don't be late for the dinner rush"They scurried off and I stayed quiet.
You were a little hard on them Ashy I mumbled.
"Oh no baby they will treat you with respect and I will accept nothing less"
Okay I whispered.

"Emery you have such a beautiful name"
"Thank you it means a lot"
"Your welcome darling and Asher said your brother will become Alpha soon"
"Yes he will be.He's very excited we are all happy for him"
"I'm sure you are we are very proud of Asher aren't we honey"
"Very proud"Asher squeezed my hand softly and I smiled.Our plates were cleared and Asher filled in his father about  the punishment he gave to Thomas and the boys.
"Well deserved I see"I turned to see Thomas staring at me.Asher turned suddenly his eyes darkened rapidly.He growled possessively and Thomas looked away.
"Thomas outside now"
Asher I whispered.His eyes blazed and I stayed silent.
"Just stay in here honey it's gonna get ugly"I nodded to Asher's mom and caught a glimpse of them fighting.Asher had the upper hand but Thomas gave him a punch to the mouth that made me sob.
"Excuse me"His mom nodded her mouth in a straight line as I ran up to Asher's room.I closed his door and sobbed.A small knock followed a couple seconds later and I ignored it.
"Baby please unlock the door"I stayed quiet and unlocked it before climbing on the side of the bed I slept on last night.My tears burned my eyes as I cried into the pillow whimpering softly.
"Baby don't cry please I'm okay"
"I'm causing to much trouble already"
Hey hey..listen to me..your not causing any trouble some men can't help theirselves when an unmarked Luna is in the room..it doesn't help that your scent alone is intoxicating baby he whispered.
Then mark me then I sniffled.
"Your not ready baby and neither am I..I don't want the rejection if you change your mind"
"I'm not leaving unless you want me too"
"I don't ever want you too"
"Mark me then"
"Are you sure"
No I sighed and he pulled me into his arms cradling me.
"I'm in no rush baby if you aren't"
"I'm not either"
