Asher's POV
Shit I was so dead.I walked into the hospital and to Emery's room to see her nursing Levi as Everly had a bottle in the nurses arms.She ignored me and I held my hands out for my daughter.The nurse handed her to me and I finished feeding her.
"Baby I'm sorry"
"Hm oh I'm sorry you finally decided to make an appearance and help out"
"Don't do that.You know I was in a battle."
The all clear was at 9pm and you never came back Asher.What in the actual fuck were you doing that was so much more important than helping me with the twins I was up all night with them by myself she ranted.
"I'm sorry baby I really am"
"Don't be honestly I get to leave in a couple hours"
"That's great baby"
"Yeah it is"
"Don't be mad at me"
"Asher you promised you'd come back"
"I fell asleep I was exhausted"
"So was I Asher and I stayed up taking care of our children"
"You could of linked me"
"I shouldn't have to link you.You promised to come back and you never showed"She signed discharge papers and we carried the twins to their rooms on our floor.
"Good morning Luna"
"Good morning Jane can I have a Omlette please"
"Of course what would you like in it"
"Mushroom and spinach please"

"Yes please with strawberry jam please"
'So your just going to be mad at me'
'Yes for now'I growled and Jane ignored us.
"Thank you Jane"
"Your welcome Luna.Alpha can I make you something."
"No just coffee please and bring it to my office Jane"
"Yes alpha"I walked off and heard Emery sigh.
Emery's POV
"Jane did he eat last night"
"No luna"
"Will you make him something"
"Yes Luna"I nodded and watched her make sunny side up eggs and sausage for Asher along with toast.
"I'll take it to him..Please him and I need to talk"
"Very well"I walked into his office and he looked up at me.
"I didn't want anything to eat"
"That's unfortunately not happening I won't let you go hungry"
"Fine is that all you wanted"
"I thought you wanted to talk about last night"

"Then let's talk while you eat"

"I honestly thought that you weren't going to come back"
"Why would you think that..after all we went through"
"Because Asher I automatically think the worst and I can't help it"

"I know and I'm sorry I really did pass out of exhaustion I think Derek and Max carried me upstairs"
"I was worried"
"I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to worry you..I should of told them about the twins arrival"

"Because I was busy in battle trying to keep you and the twins safe Emery"Levi's cry made me stand.
I can do it Asher mumbled and he walked out of the room.I nodded and he cradled Levi to his chest as he walked back in.
"Just needed a diaper change"

"Don't scare me like that again..I need your help with them I whispered as he kissed Levi's head as he pulled me on his lap.
I'm not going anywhere baby you and the twins are stuck with overprotectiveness he murmured as Levi's eyes fluttered shut.
I wouldn't want to raise our twins any other way I murmured as Asher kissed my temple.

I'll get her I whispered as I tucked Levi back in and walked across the hall to Everly's room.
Hey baby what's the matter I cooed changing her as her crying subsided.I changed her quickly and changed her into a sleeper.Since the twins didn't have their wolves yet they weren't as warm as Asher and I.
Should we go see daddy baby I whispered as we walked into Asher's office.
"There's my girls"I smiled and Asher took Everly as she giggled happily.

"Son they are beautiful"Asher's father looked down at Levi and Everly with shining eyes.It still was a little hard for him to believe we had twins but there was no doubt these babies were part of the Grey family.Levi is an exact copy of Asher with my hair color and Everly is a little more like me but has Asher's hazel eyes and dark hair.
"Thanks dad"
And Levi is a wonderful name Emery to honor your father Asher's mother Ember whispered as she took Everly from Jason who protested.
"You can't hog them Jason you have to share the grand babies"
"Anytime you guys want a babysitter we are here"
"Yes mom I know you've told me that since we found out"
"Just don't want you to forget honey"Max walked in and Asher nodded.
"Patrol meeting excuse me I'll be back"He kisses my temple and he walked off with Max.The twins both seemed to take notice that their father left because they both started to cry.
Sh babies I whispered as Jason handed me Levi.
"Oh sweet boy daddy will be right back"
'Are they crying because they can't see me anymore'
'Of course they are Ashy they love you unconditionally"I watched Asher come back in and beaming ear to ear as he took Levi from me who was slightly fussy still.
I'll do the report with Max I murmured and Asher nodded.
"Hey Em"
"Hey Max I'll go over the report with you"
"Okay cool"
"How's South Border"
"It's good.It's the north border I'm worried about"
"Why"
"There is a strange scent I can't put my finger on"
'BREECH'I ran downstairs and Asher's parents had the twins in the safe room with them.
Asher wait for me I huffed as Derek cornered the wolf.The wolf whimpered knowing it was a death wish charging in here.
Shift Asher snarled.The wolf was a naked girl and her eyes widened in fear.
"Don't you know about boarders"
"Yes alpha I'm very sorry to cross but i was deterred by some amazing smell"
What smell Asher growled bristling with anger.
'Asher calm down we are safe'
'I think it's my mate'I looked back to see Max on the porch and he slowly walked over to us.
Mate the she wolf whispered and I seen Max had hard eyes.I know he was skeptical about having a new mate.Derek stepped aside and Max took his place.
Put something on her Max I whispered through our link.He pulled off his T-shirt and the girls eyes widened and he handed it to her.
"Here put this on and we will talk"
Okay she murmured and Max's shirt looked like a dress on her.She shifted awkwardly from foot to foot while Max eyed her.
"What's your name anyways"
"Sophia James"
"What pack are you from"
"I was originally from sunrock pack but I'm the last survivor we were ambushed and I was the only one that got away"
We are sorry for the loss of your pack I murmured and she nodded.
"Thank you Luna"She bowed at me and Asher as Asher pulled me closer.He was still ridged but our pack members emerged as he called the all clear.
Max use my office Asher muttered and Max nodded.He placed on hand on Sophia's back and led her to our main pack house.Asher went right for the twins as they both happily cooed for us.
"Ashy it's okay Max can handle her"
"I'm not worried about Max..this could be an ambush"
"Asher I don't think it is..you seen her eyes and the way she acted toward Max it's the same way I acted with you"

Well if she is we will deal with her come on let's go lay the twins down and have some alone time I whispered suggestively in his ear.He looked down at me as I undid his belt.
Or we can do it here I whispered.
No someone might see what's mine he growled as he picked me up and carried me upstairs as I kissed down his collarbone to his mark.He groaned softly when I pressed soft kisses to it and he laid me on the bed.In a second we were both naked he was rushing.
Ashy slow down it's not a race I'm not going anywhere I whispered and he nodded slowly as I felt his hands caress every single curve and mark on my body.
