Asher's POV
I looked down at Emery as I buttoned my shirt.She was asleep still her stomach seemed to get bigger over night.I guess neither of realized when she started to get a little bit of a stomach.I couldn't believe we were having twins I was excited but also nervous it wasn't very common for wolf twins at least not that I knew of.Her hand fell to her stomach cradling it gently.I knew she was terrified because she was only two months from birth.
Good morning she whispered.
"Good morning baby"I leaned down pressing a kiss to her lips.
"Mm you taste like syrup"
"Yeah Jane made pancakes today"
"I assumed so"I smiled and sat next to her and she laid still pulling her shirt up slowly as my hand rubbed her stomach.
Two babies I whispered.
Two babies she murmured and I grinned.
"Do you want to wait a bit to tell people"
"Maybe just a week I'm sure there will be people that catch then scent change"
"Oh I'm sure baby"
My clothes aren't going to fit she whispered.
"That's okay baby we'll get you some clothes okay"
"What are you doing today"
"Nothing special why"
"Do you think we could go today..just me and you"
"We can if you'd like baby"
"I would like it a lot"
"Then we will go why don't you shower okay"
"Okay"She showered rather quickly and got dressed in a simple romper and slid a jean jacket over her arms.I smiled and she had a light blush across her cheeks.
"What's wrong"
"Nothing you look beautiful..I can't wait to start our family"
"Ashy it's just a dress"
"It's not the dress I'm complimenting it's the body that wears it that I love the most"
Oh Ashy she giggled kissing me softly.
"I love you"
"I love you more"
"That's simply impossible baby..now let's get you some clothes"

Asher what do you think I whispered pulling back the dressing room curtain.
"Stunning"
"You think so"
"Of course I do baby"I looked down at the maternity jeans I had on.They didn't look completely awful on me and Asher's opinion was a little unfair because he liked anything I tried on.I had some other outfits too a couple extra dressy outfits.
Ashy I whispered when I opened the curtain again to see Asher gone.
What the fuck I grunted picking up my purse and the clothing I've chosen.I walked out to see Asher at the jewelry counter.I raised my brow and his body tensed and he growled.Luna went on high alert and he pressed me into his body protectively.I caught their scent and he growled again.
Ashy sh be quiet we are safe I whispered and he took all the articles of clothing from my arms.
"Well look at who we have here"I stayed quiet pressed into Asher's chest.
"Hm Luna Emery it's about time he brings you out of hiding"Asher snarled when Alpha Carter tried to touch my cheek.He was know as the joke of werwolves.He led a rogue pack that does nothing but destroy anything.
"Aren't you going to say hello Luna"
"She doesn't need to dignify you with a response"Asher stalked away his temper slipping and Ryker was present.He threw our purchases on the belt and handed over his debit card.He buried his face in my neck as I signed the credit card slip thanking the employee.He carried my bags and held my hand tightly.
Asher please calm down your making me nervous I whispered as he helped me into our car.He kicked our cart into the corral and I rolled my eyes.He left a boot print in the cart and slammed his car door shut.I rubbed my stomach softly and he drove us home.Brittany and baby Nathan were on the pack house steps.I got out of the car and Brittany smiled at me waving carefully as she balanced Nathan in her arms.
"How is he doing"
"He's good we were waiting up for you"
"You didn't have to do that"
"We wanted too..how was shopping"
"We ran into carter"
"Oh shit"
"Yeah lets go inside"
"Okay sure"Derek and Asher were talking and Asher looked over to me and I smiled softly.I pointed to the house and he nodded.

"Asher where were you"
"I was just out on a run sorry..Nathan was fussy so Derek was helping Brittany"
"Don't lie to me"
"I'm not lying"
"Yes you are and you wanna know how I know"
"Um"Brittany stood next to me and I frowned.
Why would you lie to me I whispered.
Baby he murmured rubbing the back of his neck.
No actually save it I whispered going to our room upstairs.I grabbed my pillow and walked into one of our rooms that had a full sized bed.I locked the door and heard Asher knock softly.
Baby please don't do this he pleaded and I tried to ignore it despite Luna's cries for him.
'No Luna stop he needs to know that he should be honest with us'
'But mate needs us'
'It's only for one night Luna'
'You know we won't sleep tonight'
'I will if you shut up'She growled but obeyed.I walked into our room and Asher was in our bed his face nuzzled into my side.His eyes watched me and I undressed and slid into my silk nightgown.I tied my hair up in a messy bun and brushed my teeth.I washed my face and walked out of the bathroom.
Baby please he whimpered as I grabbed my book.
Asher please I whispered when he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Don't go please I promise I wasn't doing anything bad"
"I don't care you lied to me now let me go"
"Please just sleep in here..you know I can't sleep without you"
"Your going to have to for tonight"
God damnit don't do this he growled and pulled me into the bed.
Your scaring me I whispered.
"No baby please don't go"I over powered him scared for our children and ran to the guest room.I locked the door and he growled and I could hear shattering of furniture.I closed my eyes clutching my pillow.I didn't even realize tears were falling til I was shaking from my sobs.
"Em are you okay"
"Go away please"
"Derek is with Asher please let me in..let me help"
"Please just go away"
"Not until you let me see you..let me make sure your okay"I opened the door and she walked in.
"Hey"
"Hi"
"What happened"
"I told him I'm not sleeping in there"
"Okay well it's probably best if neither of you do now"
"Why"
"He demolished it"
"What"
'Find mate he needs us'
"I have to go find him he might need me"
"Go ahead"I ran out and followed his scent trail to the kitchen to see Jane picking glass out of his knuckles.I whimpered and he winced.
Fuck he cussed and Jane stopped to let me slide under his arm and sit on his lap.
Oh Ashy I whimpered and he grunted.I kissed his face all over and his eyes opened quickly.
I'm okay baby he whispered.
I'm sorry I sobbed and he frowned.
"Why are you.. fucking hell that was a deep one"
"Sorry Alpha"
"It's okay Jane"
Because I shouldn't of left the room I sniffled.
"Oh baby it's okay..I should of told you where I was going"I nodded and he rubbed my back.
"There all done"
"Thank you Jane"
"Your welcome Alpha"I whimpered softly when I seen his bandaged hand.
It'll be gone by morning he mumbled  carrying me upstairs.He laid me in the guest room and tucked me in.
"I'll give you your space..goodnight I love you"He left quickly and Luna whimpered.

I woke up again it was the third time in two hours.
'Face it you can't sleep without Asher'
'Luna shut up' I walked to the door opening it and walking across the hall to see Asher almost asleep.He didn't see me but I'm sure he smelled me.I whimpered running for him and tucked myself into his chest.I sighed in comfort and listened to his strong heartbeat.His hand fell to my stomach as he rubbed softly.
"Goodnight baby"
"Goodnight Ashy"
"I love you"
"I love you too Ashy"
