Max's POV
I watched everyone of my friends be happy and I couldn't help but miss Tally.It was almost unbearable to think that they don't care about what happened anymore.They've all put it behind them but I can't.Asher and Derek both had the girls pulled close by their waists and I whimpered my wolf whining to have some sort of connection.I closed my eyes when I seen Emery walking towards me.I growled lowly and she frowned.I knew she was hurting from losing their child hell we all were but I was more focused on my pain.
"Max can Asher and I see you privately"
Why so you can gloat about being happy I snapped and instantly regretted it.She wasn't easy to set off usually but boy had I done it.She pinned me against the tree.I knew her wolf was present but not out fully.
"Hey baby what's going on over here"Emery growled and let me go.
Nothing she mumbled going back to being the sweet girl we've all gotten used too.
'What did you say to her Max'

Emery's POV
I walked into Asher's office and he smiled at me.
"Stunning baby absolutely breath taking"
"Thank you..when is Max coming up"
"As soon as his patrol is done"I looked down at my outfit.This was the first time since we lost the baby that I was starting to feel okay again.It felt nice to get all dressed up and watching Asher's reaction when he seen me.I wore a tan a line skirt today with black tights underneath and a long sleeve black blouse tucked into the waistband of the skirt.I had one button undone on my blouse and it showed a small amount of cleavage but not enough for the pack members to think I'm trashy.I had slipped on my black stilettos and braided my hair into an elegant side French braid.
"Sorry patrol took a little longer"
"It's fine Max have a seat please"He sat and Asher folded his hands.We weren't sure how this would go so my nerves were eating me alive.
"What is it..I don't usually get the both of you for an evaluation"
"Max the moon goddess visited us last night"

Enough Asher snapped and I jumped.Max slammed the office door shut and I chewed on my bottom lip.
Are you okay I whispered.
No I'm not he mumbled his hands dragging down his face.
I'm sorry I whimpered.
"Baby it's not your fault there's nothing that could of prevented this..I'm sorry for snapping it wasn't directed at you and you know that right"
Yes I mumbled and he held my hand.

Emery's POV
I watched Asher lock the nursery door and I whimpered.
Stay away from the room Emery it just upsets you he sighed and I stayed silent.
I can't help it I hiccuped.
"Baby we need to try our best.."
To what Asher move on..we lost a child three weeks before I was suppose to give birth tomorrow would of been my due date I'm sorry that I want to have this child back I snapped and he exhaled slowly.
I can't do this right now he growled and I stormed down the hallway to our room.I slammed the door and hugged my pillow sobbing uncontrollably.

Asher's POV
I walked in our room to see Emery curled into the fetal position passed out.Her cheeks were warm from her crying so much.I showered and when I got out she was brushing her hair and she had changed her clothes.Ryder tried for control and I let him to tired to argue.She jumped slightly when I nuzzled her.
I just want to be happy again Ashy she whispered.I didn't say anything just held her close as she cried.We didn't know how long we would stand there but I swooped her up and she laid on my chest.I covered us both with the comforter as Ryder gave me back control.

*MORNING*
I woke up to Emery sleeping still curled into me.She whined softly when I climbed out of bed.
Sh baby I whispered and she tucked my pillow around her.She stayed asleep while I slipped on some drawstring shorts.I had been letting her skip training day due to us losing the baby.I kissed her temple and she sighed contently.
"I love you"
Love you more Emery whispered.I walked outside to see some pack members stretching already.I started doing half and half split with training days since the woman only fought with each other for the most part and same for the men.

I walked out of the shower and looked our French glass doors to see Asher watching the training match closely.It was the woman's training day today and I changed into some leggings and a sports bra with a T-shirt over it.I tied my hair up and walked outside to see Asher's muscles flex as he impatiently waited for the match to be over.Soon enough he caught my scent making him turn his face laced with concern.I stood next to him and kissed his cheek.He smiled softly.
'How are you feeling'

'That's good baby'I only nodded and seen Max walk over to Asher.
"Ash I need to talk to you"

Um privately he mumbled rubbing the back of his neck.He smiled softly at me and squeezed my shoulder.I nuzzled tighter into Asher as he tried to detach me.
