Emery's POV
I woke up to Asher laying out some clothes.
"Ashy what are you doing"
"Get up we have a trace of Tally's scent"
"Okay"
"Here put this on"I nodded and slid into the romper and the suede booties.I did a side French braid and a quick makeup look.Asher slid a jean jacket up my arms and I noticed we sorta matched.He wore a darker yellow shirt which complimented his skin tone.He had on some dark wash jeans and his hair was styled in his normal style.I nibbled on my bottom lip and he took my hand.
"Come on we don't have to much time they are holding her"
"Who's holding her"
"Pack 250 miles south"Max was already at the door he looked anxious.
'You would be to if you went three weeks without your mate'I climbed in the car Derek and Brittany stayed behind with the pack  as Asher slammed on the gas.I held my stomach and Asher eased off the petal.
Sorry he muttered.
"It's fine just drive"I was finally showing the baby was healthy showing signs of a natural birth.I rubbed slow circles on my stomach and Asher grabbed my free hand.I looked back to see Max staring at us.I knew he and his wolf missed Tally.The craving you receive without your mate is unbearable.

"Hoping for a boy or girl"
"I'd be happy with either but I think I want a boy first"
"I'm happy for you guys"
"Thanks Max means a lot"He nodded and stayed quiet most of the trip there.

"We are close"I could hear screams and I flinched.
"Stay in the car"
"What no that's not fair"
"Your pregnant"
"Then why did you make me come"
"Because.."
"Ash just let her get out she's going to follow us either way she might as well be safe"I watched Simon follow beside Max as we were granted access to the Shadow pack.I stayed close to Asher and he kissed my head.
'Your okay baby'His fingers rubbed my stomach softly making my heart rate slow to a steady beat.
'Sh baby sh'
"Alpha Asher Luna Emery nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you as well"They bowed to us and we bowed back.
"I believe you'd like your pack member back"
"We'd very much appreciate it"We followed him to the cells and I gagged.
"Luna would you like to stay above ground I didn't know you were expecting"
"It's okay I can handle it I want to see her"He nodded and I followed Asher slowly down the steps.He held me close as we stood in front of the cells.Asher grabbed Max by the arm and he growled.Asher shot him a look and he stood by me.
Mine a voice growled and I seen the light flood on her pale face.Her eyes were black as the chains shook as I squeezed Max's hand when he tried to get closer to her.
Yours Max murmured and she fell silent her head nodding limply.
"Why'd you run"
"Why shouldn't I"
"Well for one your running away from things you've worked hard for trust you worked hard to build"
"Max needs a different mate"
The fuck I do.Tally I need you to be with me Max snarled making me flinch.
"I can't Max I don't make you happy"
"What are you talking about Tal of course you make me happy..I've been through hell the last couple weeks trying to find you..I can barley function without you"
"You should of rejected me the day you found me"

"I don't know just something isn't right"I saw Max's heart break in front of me as he broke down slowly.The rejection would be worse since they were both marked and mated.
Tally please don't do this I whispered.Her eyes met mine and I opened the cell door.
Emery don't even think about it Asher growled his eyes darkening.
I'll be fine I whispered.I stepped in and she looked at me.
"We miss you not just Max but all of us"

"It's not a lie Tally"I sat next to her and she scooted away from me.
"What happened tell me please"

"Yes Asher and I found out a couple days before you left"

"I give birth in a month"

"How's Brittany and Derek"
"Good they are at home anxious to see you"
"Well they will remain anxious"
"They don't have to please Tally come home"

Please I whispered.
Emery come out now Asher's voice growled.I rolled my eyes and turned my back to Tally which was my second mistake.I threw her off my back and pinned her to the ground.I snarled and she tried to lunge at me.Her eyes were violet instead of her green.
Someone tainted you I growled and Asher's arm banded around me.
"Asher I'm fine"
Outside with Max now he growled.
"No"
"He needs comfort Emery now"I huffed but did as he asked going to see Max swinging at a tree.
"Max are you okay"
"Someone tainted my mate do I look okay"
"Max I'm sorry"
"Don't be I should of known something was wrong"
"It's not your fault Max"
"Can I feel your belly"
"Sure if you want"I felt Max's hand on my stomach and he pressed softly like he's seen Asher do to get the baby to kick back.
"Do the kicks hurt"
"Sometimes but most of the time they tickle"He nodded and helped me sit.
"I have to reject her don't I"
"I think so Max I'm really sorry"
"It's okay hopefully the moon goddess will rematch me and if not you'll always have a babysitter"
"Max honey I'm sure she'll find you someone"He nodded and I stayed quiet.His eyes were closed and pretty soon he was clenching the roots of the tree.
'I Max Thunder reject Tally Scott'It was echoed through out our pack link and Asher came up from the prison area.
"She's dead the curse was lifted but it killed her Max I'm sorry"
"It's okay"Simon stood behind him and patted his shoulder.
"Come on baby let's get you home"Asher pulled me up in a swift movement and I nodded nuzzling into him.
'Do you think he'll be okay'
'Just will take some time baby'The drive home was silent for the most part.Brittany was at the car door and was scolding me for putting myself in danger with her.I rolled my eyes and she hugged me tightly.
"Getting stronger everyday"
"Yes we are"I squealed when Asher carried me into the house.
"Rest my queen"I giggled and he smiled down at me.
"I love you"
"I love you too baby"The baby kicked softly against Asher's hands and he chuckled.
"Can't wait to meet you little one"
"Hm we should probably start getting stuff for the baby soon"
"Yeah we should maybe we can make it be a day job"
"Are we going to give the baby god parents"
"Hm I suppose we can"
"I know we aren't religious or anything but.."
"Baby if you want too we can"
"I want Max to be the god father"
"Yeah"
"What about the god mother"
"Hannah unless you think we should keep them in the pack"
"I think Hannah is a fine choice"

"Your welcome baby"I watched cooking shows and Asher sat with me for a bit of each show.
"Ashy will you make me a snack"

"Will you get me a snack"
"Sure what do you want"
"Can I have berries with whipped cream"
"Sure baby"He went off to grab it from the kitchen and I continued watching my show.

Asher's POV
I walked into the living room and seen her asleep on the couch bowl of fruit in one hand.I chuckled softly and took the fruit taking it to the kitchen.Jane nodded at me.
"She's been asleep for about thirty minutes"
"Yeah she didn't sleep well last night"
"So are we thinking one baby"
"One baby is all the scan shows"
"The doctor says it will be small since she hasn't really gotten much bigger through the pregnancy"
"As long as it's healthy small is okay"
"I think she's worried about the baby"
"Every new mother is Asher it's only natural..her instincts will kick in as soon as she holds that baby"
"That's what my mom said"
"We came baring gifts for our grandchild"
"Hey mom and dad"
"Where is she I wanna see her belly"
"She's not big mom and she's asleep"
I'm right here Emery yawned and nuzzled me.
"Wasn't a long nap"
The baby kept kicking she mumbled and kissed my cheek.
"Presents"
"We went a little crazy but couldn't help ourselves"
"You didn't have to buy all this"
"It's okay we wanted too believe me"
"All of this is so beautiful"Max walked in and Emery hugged him.He latched onto her and I had to contain the growl rising quickly.Derek and Brittany joined and the boys too all the heavy boxes upstairs.I looked through outfits noticing a couple premature outfits.
Grow strong little one I know you can do it I murmured in my head.
"Oh look at this onesie it's so precious"I helped take tags off outfits and filled a basket that Jane let me us.

I stood in the bathroom looking at my bump.I frowned slightly.
Please be healthy I whispered and Asher walked in and I pulled my shirt down quickly looking away from him.
Baby we talked about this he murmured.
I'm just worried I whimpered and he pulled me into his arms.
"Our baby will be healthy and grow big and strong baby"
I just want to feed him more..I feel like he's not getting enough I sniffled.
"He'll be eating plenty enough when you give birth baby I promise"
"I want him to love us"
"Baby our children will love us unconditionally all children do"
"Promise"
"Promise now get some rest okay"
