SIX MOONS LATER.
The room was filled with heavy breathing, the rain and thunder roaring outside. It was morning, Alana could hear the servants walking down the halls of the Red Keep. Aegon laid beside Alana, the blankets twisted around his waist. His head was resting on her chest, as his fingers traced patterns on her stomach.
"The storm is getting worse." Alana mumbled, staring at the ceiling.
"Then let's not leave the chambers today." Aegon lifted his head, placing kisses on her neck.
Alana closed her eyes at the feeling, as much as she wanted to stay in bed all day she promised she'd see Helaena today, especially since Helaena could be in labor any day from what the maester said. "I promised Helaena I would see her today."
"But the bed is so comfy with you here." He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer and continued to pepper kisses on her neck, but not making marks. "And it is going to rain all day."
"And Helaena is full with child, she could give birth any day." Alana said, tangling her hand in his silver hair.
Aegon let out a sigh, rolling off her and onto his back. "It is too cold to leave our beloved chambers."
Alana chuckled and sat up, her chest on full display to him. "And perhaps shave your beard? Your slight stubble scratches my chin when you kiss me."
"Then I shall honor your request then." He kept glancing back and forth on her chest and face. "Your chest seems fuller, does it not?"
Alana raised her eyebrows looking at her chest before looking back at him. Alana shrugged, and got off the bed, grabbing her dress that was on the chair and put it on.
Aegon sighed and sat up, leaning against the headband watching her. "It's very cold without you."
"I will be back." Alana tied the laces of the dress, her hair hanging loosely on her back.

Alana knocked on Helaena's and Aemond's chambers, Alana silently prayed to the old gods and the new that Aemond wasn't there.
The door opened revealing Helaena, a hand on her large stomach. "Alana." Helaena smiled, before ushering her in.
Alana was quick to notice that Aemond stood by the window staring out to the rainy weather. Alana assumed he was upset because he couldn't ride Vhagar and couldn't train because of the rain.
Helaena sat on a chair with a cushion on it, Alana following in pursuit. "The babes are active today." She smiled.
"Babes?" Alana raised her eyebrows, "You think it'll be twins?"
"Yes, I had dreams about it." Helaena smiled, rubbing her stomach.
"Oh." Alana nodded, glancing at Aemond who was still silent, his arms crossed behind his back.
Helaena noticed Alana gaze and looked back at Aemond, "What is wrong Aemond?"
Aemond turned his head away from the window and look at Helaena and Alana. "Nothing. I think I shall go to the library."
"Oh. Very well then." Helaena smiled at him, before he walked to the door and opened and closed it.
Alana sighed and looked down at her hands, "Are you feeling Alright?" Alana looked back up at Helaena.
"Yes." Helaena smiled, "I am very excited to meet them." Helaena looked down at her stomach, rubbing it. "Though my back aches sometimes."
Alana nodded, "I hope is that the birth goes well." Alana wasn't going to admit it, but she didn't want to lose Helaena like how Arra died.
"It shall go well, I dreamt it." Helaena smiled reassuring at her, rubbing her stomach again.

Alana was back in her and Aegon's shared chambers, Alana stood between his legs as he sat on a chair near the fire, she was shaving his slight stubble but they haven't really talked, as Alana was too concentrated on shaving him without making him bleed.
He sat with his eyes closed, his hands on the arms of the chair. The only sound in the chambers were the scraping of the knife, the rain and thunder outside, and the crackle of the fire.
Eventually she finished and handed him a cloth, to which he grabbed it and gently rubbed it on his face. "Much better." Alana smiled, putting the knife on a nearby table.
Aegon smiled and put the cloth away, pulling her closer. He leaned his forehead on her stomach, rubbing her hips with his thumbs.
"Your sister thinks she's having twins, she said she dreamt about it." Alana kissed his head, tangling her hands in his hair. "But I believe her."
Aegon chuckled, "She is always right, it seems." He wrapped his arms around her waist, burying his face in her dress, listening to the sound of her breathing and the thunder and rain outside.
The two of them stayed in a silence, enjoying each others company. "My mother came and talked to me today."
"What did she say?" Alana asked, despite having an idea of what she said.
"How we need children.." Aegon looked back up at her. "The usual."
"As always." Alana chuckled, looking across the room at the window, the rain still pouring down. She looked back at Aegon before she leaned in and kissed his lips before pulling back.
Aegon was slightly annoyed that she pulled away, and grabbed her hips pulling her onto his lap, her knees on either sides of him. He grabbed her cheek and slammed his lips onto hers.
Alana tangled her hands in his hair, gently pulling on the strands of his silver hair. Aegon subconsciously pulled her closer, slipping his tongue in her mouth.
Aegon couldn't help himself and started to undo his trousers, his other hand pulling the skirts of her dress up to her thighs. He moved and adjusted himself under her, Aegon broke the kiss and pulled her hips down on him, both of them letting out a low moan, before he started to move her hips up and down.
"Oh gods." A voice suddenly spoke out, Alana lifted her head up to see Alicent who now had her back to them, the door to their chamber open. Alana noticed she was breathing heavily.
Alana's face went red with embarrassment, but was also annoyed that Alicent didn't knock. Alana quickly got off of Aegon and fixed herself, straightening her dress.
Aegon fixed himself, lacing back his trousers despite his obvious need to Alana. "Mother." Aegon let out a shaky exhale, turning his back to Alicent who slowly looked at them, her expression panicked.
"I apologize that I didn't knock, but Helaena has started her labors." Alicent spoke, her face also was red from what she walked in on.
"Is she alright? No complications?" Alana spoke up, her face filled with worry instead of embarrassment.
"No, the maesters say she is doing fine." Alicent nodded before walking to the door. "But the babe is coming quickly."
"And is Aemond there?" Alana said, twisting her rings.
"Men are not aloud in the birthing chambers." Alicent spoke, Alana nodded suddenly remembering. "But he standing outside the birthing chambers."
Aegon was still silent, his face filled with embarrassment. The fact that his mother saw something so private between the two of them, Aegon didn't like that his mother saw the both of them being so vulnerable with each other.
"I shall go comfort Helaena.." Alicent spoke before leaving the room, the door closing behind her. Alana was debating on whether to follow Alicent but Alana knew that Helaena needed her mother.
"Are you okay." Alana asked Aegon, seeing that look on his face.
"She should have knocked." Aegon looked back up at her, he was more embarrassed than angry.
"We should start locking our door." Alana chuckled, before walking over to him.
Aegon nodded.

It had been a few hours since then, Alana and Aegon kept walking around the castle, waiting for any news for Helaena. The rain and stopped and it was almost nightfall.
"This is taking too long." Aegon huffed, squeezing her hand.
"Birth takes a long time." Alana nodded, looking down the hall.
Aegon nodded, as they walked down the same hall again, seeing Aemond at the end of the hall leaning against a wall waiting. "I'm going to go talk to him."
Alana nodded, watching as he walked to Aemond. She continued to wait outside of Helaena's birthing chambers, hearing the cries and groans, the encouragement of the midwives.
Eventually the sound a cry comes out, then a few minutes later a second cry, just like Helaena predicted.
Alana let out a breath of relief when she Alicent come out of the birthing chambers, "Come in."
Alana nodded, glancing at Aegon and Aemond before walking into the birthing chambers. "She had been asking for you." Alicent spoke, closing the door.
Alana walked into the room, she noticed Helaena leaning against the pillows on the bed, her face looked tired and sweaty, her usual neat silver hair was now crazy, sticking on her forehead. The midwives were tending with the babes, who were crying for the comfort of their mother.
"Helaena." Alana smiled, walking to the bed, the room smelt of sweat and blood.
Helaena took Alana's hand, before closing her eyes and breathing, the room now calm despite the babes cries.
"You did well." Alana smiled, Helaena opened her eyes just as the midwives brought the crying children to Helaena, desperate for their mother. They were both held in dark green blankets.
Helaena held the girl as Alana held the boy, though the girl wasn't crying the boy still was. From the side Alicent looked at them from the distance, before walking out the door, going to find Aemond.
Helaena whispered quiet things to the girl, as Alana gently bounced the boy who still cried, his face red, his body squirming in her arms. "I think he wants his mother."
Helaena smiled a weak smile before opening her other arm open for her son. The boys cries immediately quieted down as he felt his mother's touch. With both babes crying subdued the room was left in a calmness, despite for the sounds of the midwives cleaning the room.
"What are their names?" Alana tilted her head to the side, watching as Helaena looked down at her children.
"I think.. Jaehaera for the girl, and Jaehaerys for the boy." Helaena smiled before looking up at Alana, as if seeking her approval, "What do you think?"
"Perfect names." Alana smiled, before the door opened. Alana looked over her shoulder and saw Aemond, Alicent and lastly Aegon.
Alana smiled at Helaena before stepping away from the bed, Aegon came up behind her and rubbed her shoulder. Aemond walked to the bed, silently as always. "What are their names?" The one eyed man asked.
"I choose Jaehaera and Jaehaerys." Helaena smiled before looking at the two babes.
Aemond had a slight smile on his face, and rubbed his thumb over Jaehaerys' cheek.
