Alicent heels clicked off the ground, her dress swaying with every walk. She was walking to her son's chambers. She saw Ser Arryk outside standing guard, who nodded at her. "You may go Ser." the woman spoke, nodding her head back at him.

Ser Arryk nodded his head and walked away, his armor sounding off the hallways.

Alicent pushed the heavy door open and scoffed at the sight of her son. Aegon slept obliviously on his stomach, one hand dangling off the bed his silver hair brushed over his face. On the other side of the bed slept a black haired women, with purple and red marks all over her.

Alicent face contorted in a grimace, walking over and standing at the edge of the bed. "Aegon!" Alicent yelled, watching as the two slowly opened their eyes.

Aegon wiped the drool from his mouth and propped himself up onto his elbow, rubbing his eyes with one hand, the sheets dropping below his chest. "Mother?"

Alicent looked at Aegon then at the black haired female, who grabbed her dress from the floor pulling it up to her chest. "Get out!" Alicent yelled at the woman.

"Esthis?" Aegon mumbled out, looking at her confused forgetting she was here. Esthis looked at the pair and hurriedly put on her dress and boots before rushing out and slamming the door.

Aegon groaned and got up from the bed, holding the sheet up, covering himself. "How can you bring a woman like that here?!" Alicent shook her head, picking at the skin around her nail.

"A woman like that?" Aegon mumbled to himself, picking up his trousers that was on a chair nearby, still holding his sheets to cover himself.

Alicent shook her head again, and walked up to him and slapped him. "How can you be like this, especially on a day like today."

"And what is today?" Aegon looked at her his hand holding his cheek, a single tear going down his face.

"What is today?!" Alicent shook her head, looking baffled at him. "your future wife Aegon! She is coming as of today."

"And why should I be there? Aemond is a much better match for-" He paused, forgetting her name. "Whatever her name is."

"Alana, her name is Alana." Alicent straightened her posture. "You will do this, and anyways Aemond is getting already betrothed to your sister." Alicent sighed.

"I suggest you get dressed, and meet us in the courtyard to greet her." Alicent nodded, walking towards the door. "Don't disappoint me Aegon, like you already have."

Aegon looked at his mother, another tear going down his face. Alicent smiled to herself and walked out the door shutting the heavy door.

The carriage bounced, the rocks of the streets of King's landing wasn't helping either. "Are you alright?" Alana's handmaiden Lysara asked, her black haired pulled neatly into a bun.

Alana Stark turned her head towards her, and nodded. "Fine, although it's been many years since i've seen them i'm quite nervous."

Lysara chuckled, "You will do fine my lady."

Alana snorted a laugh, "It smells like horse shit here." Lysara was used to the lady curse sometimes, but it always surprised her.

Lysara chuckled then gasped at the sight of Alana's hair, "My lady your hair."

"Oh." Alana touched her hair, her braid must've came out somehow. "Will you fix it for me"

Lysara mumbled something incoherent, nodding her head, her hands fixing the knotted hair and putting them into a neat braid.

"Hopefully this will impress the Queen, I doubt the King will come out." Alana looked out the small window of the carriage, seeing people from the streets carrying stuff.

"I will my lady." Lysara nodded, and looked out another window. "Oh, we're nearly there best get ready."

Alana heart began to beat, she hasn't seen these people since she was eight years old and even she could barely remember that. Out of the whole royal family, her favorite person was Helaena, Alana hoped she'd perhaps remember her; it would be nice to have a friend besides her own handmaiden.

"I don't think I see Aegon..but I think Aemond is there." Lysara chucked to herself. "Oh, and Helaena and Daeron."

Alana nodded, but frowned at the fact that her own future husband wasn't even there to greet her. First impressions do matter. She'd hoped he wasn't what everyone thought he was to be, a drunken prince with a horrible attitude, also his whores but Alana never believed that.

The carriage kept to an abrupt stop, Alana played with the rings around her fingers; a nervous habit she had.

The carriage door opened, the bright sun shining in. Alana sat up and straightened her dress before leaving the small carriage.

She looked over and saw them, Alana held her posture just as her mother had taught her and walked to them, Lysara helping with the many baggage things.

Alana bowed her head at them and saw that, Aemond, Helaena, Alicent, Otto, and Daeron was there..but no Aegon.

"How much you've grown, you're a grown woman now." Alicent stepped forward, holding her hands infront of her stomach.

"My Queen." Alana bowed her head again.

"How was your travels?" A voice spoke out, Helaena's voice, walking down the stairs.

"It was well, I suppose. I don't remember the King's Road being so bumpy." Alana nodded, looking around for Aegon.

"Apologies, Aegon...is usually on time...but he's mayhaps with Sunfyre.." Alicent nodded, holding a slightly annoyance on her face. Alana almost
forgot they had dragons.

"It is alright..I will meet him eventually." Alana nodded, feeling uncomfortable with all these eyes on her but didn't show it.

"Oh, you must be famished from your travels. A guard will show you where your chambers are. Oh, also we are having a dinner tonight...Helaena will help you pick out..dresses." Alicent nodded, looking down at her northern looking clothing.

"Of course." Alana nodded, before looking at the others who stayed silent.

The rest of them left, only Helaena remained as did a guard and Lysara.

"Ser Criston, I will show her." Helaena nodded towards Ser Criston. "It's the one down a few rooms than mine correct?"

Ser Criston nodded before walking away, his armor making a noise with each step he took.

Helaena laughed before interlocking their arms together. "I do hope you remember me." She smiled.

"Of course I do my princess." Alana smiled softly, walking in the Red Keep, various lords and ladies talking amongst themselves, bowing at the princess. Lysara following close behind the pair.

"Please call me Helaena."  Helaena smiled.

"Alright, Helaena." Alana smiled and looked at the lords and ladies, the pair going up the stairs.

"Aren't you hot?" Helaena asked, looking down at her dress.

"I am actually, I don't remember it being so hot here." Alana chuckled, walking down a hallway large doors coming into view.

"Uhm, How is the King doing?"

"He is fine, I think. I don't really speak to him nor does he." Helaena nodded, a bit uncomfortable about this topic.

Alana noticed her discomfort, "Enough of that talk. Have you found any new insect or it is still just spiders?"

Helaena smiled brightly again, "I have, this morning I had just seen a butterfly in the gardens, it was beautiful."

Alana smiled at her, forgetting that her handmaiden was still following them.

They passed by three doors, "That is my chambers and  that is Aegon's chambers." Helaena nodded, then they walked down another hallway. "This is your room, it's a bit far..but once you and Aegon are married you'd be one door away from me."

Alana smiled at Helaena before the pair opened the door, Lysara behind them carrying a few items, her clothes and baggage already in the room, Lysara sighing to herself knowing she'd have to put these all away.
